    The General Directorate of Health Personnel of the Ministry of Health, as a body dependent on the Vice Ministry of Benefits and Health Insurance, is responsible for addressing the problem, among others, of planning and developing human resources in doing so, it is evident the need to recognize decent work as a primary strategic input in human resource management in the health sector, justification for the development of the research study. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge in Decent work and the specific experience of the personnel in the General Directorate of Health Personnel of the Ministry of Health; the methodology, considering a study with a quantitative approach, correlational level and non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the sample of 54 professionals; the data collection technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire; The main result of the research was to obtain a (Sig. = 0.184), much higher than 0.05 or 5% of maximum margin of error and (rho = - 0.183) degree of negative relationship, for which the null Hypothesis. The conclusion was that there is no relationship between knowledge in Decent work and specific time of experience of the workers of the General Directorate of Health Personnel of the Ministry of Health; The recommendation was to evaluate the relevance of developing research studies related to the planning and implementation of interventions in the development of staff capacities.
