Publicación Acceso abierto Buenas prácticas de prescripción de recetas atendidas durante la segunda ola de la pandemia COVID-19 en la botica Megaplus. Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-08-10) Panllo Arotoma, Juan Carlos; Caldas Herrera, EmmaThe general objective of this research thesis was to determine prescription errors in prescriptions filled during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic at the Megaplus drugstore in Lima in 2021. A descriptive, cross-sectional, and retrospective observational study was conducted. The population consisted of 240 prescriptions, and a sample of 148 was collected from February to May 2021 at the Megaplus drugstore using a simple random sampling method. The data were processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. A data collection form was created as the instrument, with corresponding study analysis indicators, and the results were processed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that 60.1% of prescriptions failed to include the patient's full name, 57.4% failed to include the patient's age, and 49.3% failed to include the diagnosis. Additionally, 50.7% failed to use the International Nonproprietary Name (INN), and 63.5% of prescriptions were not legible. The study concludes that there is not 100% compliance with good prescribing practices.
