Methodology: Using a hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach, the study was classified as basic research within a non-experimental framework. It followed a cross-sectional or transectional study design with a descriptive-correlational level. Two instruments were applied to 336 hypertensive patients treated at the aforementioned pharmacy. Results: A significant relationship was found between pharmacological adherence and quality of life (p=0.000; r=0.307). There was also a significant relationship between medication/food intake control and quality of life (p=0.000; r=0.154). Similarly, a significant relationship was observed between behavioral medical follow-up and quality of life (p=0.000; r=0.325). It was also demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life (p=0.000; r=0.336). Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between pharmacological adherence and psychological health or mood (p=0.000; r=0.339), as well as physical health or somatic sensations (p=0.000; r=0.204). Conclusions: It was concluded that as pharmacological adherence increases, so does the quality of life in hypertensive patients included in the study.
