    Effectiveness of "Plastic Wrap" in preventing hypothermia in preterm newborns

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of Plastic Wrap in preventing hypothermia in premature newborns. Material and Methods: Systematic review of 10 selected articles, using the Pubmed, Elsevier, Science Direct, Redalyc, Cochrane, Researchgate database. It is a quantitative study with a systematic experimental and cohort design. Results: The effectiveness of Plastic Wrap in preventing hypothermia in premature newborns. We found that 100% (n = 10/10) of the articles evidence the effectiveness of Plastic Wrap in preventing hypothermia in premature newborns. The effectiveness in preventing hypothermia in premature newborns together with other devices represents 50% (n=5/10), making skin-to-skin contact and using heat-transmitting mattresses that keep premature newborns warmer, which leads to stable temperatures upon admission to neonatal units and less hypothermia. Conclusion: Plastic Wrap demonstrates effectiveness in preventing hypothermia in premature newborns.

    Effectiveness of a multidisciplinary educational program aimed at mothers' self-efficacy for complying with breastfeeding in children under 6 months

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of a multidisciplinary educational program aimed at mothers in self-efficacy, for compliance with breastfeeding in children under 6 months Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, which synthesizes the results of various investigations; The population is made up of 10 scientific articles; Of all the articles that were found, the most important were included according to level of evidence and the least relevant were excluded. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, corresponding to systematic reviews 20% (02), case and control studies 30 % (03), analytical cross-sectional 20% (02), randomized clinical trial 30% (03). Where of the total number of articles analyzed, 80% (n= 08/10) show that both the educational programs developed on self-efficacy are effective for breastfeeding compliance. Conclusions: It was evident that multidisciplinary educational programs aimed at mothers for breastfeeding self-efficacy are effective, since they allow the mother to acquire the confidence to be able to comply and initiate breastfeeding early, as well as determine continuity exclusively; generating that the boy or girl can develop and grow adequately, as well as reducing the morbidity of the minor.

    Effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children aged 0 to 6 years

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children from 0 to 6 years old. Material and Method: Of the 10 scientific articles investigated on the effectiveness of an intervention program to improve psychomotor development, they were found in the Cochrane, Medline, SciencieDirect, Scielo, Lilacs and Dialnet databases. All were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the 10 scientific articles investigated, 100% correspond to the methodological design, of which 100% (10/10) evidence the effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children 0 to 6 years old. Conclusions: Of the total number of scientific articles reviewed, 100% (10/10) evidence the effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children from 0 to 6 years old.

    Effectiveness of a scale for pain assessment in neonatal intensive care units

    Materials and methods: 10 scientific articles related to the evidence about the effectiveness of the pain assessment scale in the intensive care unit belonging to the Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline Pubmed data were systematically reviewed, being analyzed through of the Grade scale, in order to study its strength and quality of evidence. Results: In all scientific articles, the effectiveness of the pain scales is corroborated, since results are observed when pain is stimulated to identify the magnitude of this indicator in neonates; 10% of the articles record them in the notes. of nursing, another 10% indicate that different pain scales should be used according to the gestational age of the neonate. Conclusions: The effectiveness of the pain assessment scale in neonatal intensive care units is evident, but not all institutions apply it for the assessment of neonates and thus reduce the pain they perceive.

    Effectiveness of alcohol gel for hand disinfection among healthcare workers

    Objective: Systematize the effectiveness of the use of alcohol gel for hand disinfection in health personnel. Material and Method: Quantitative study, systematic review. The population consisted of 25 reviewed articles, of which only 10 scientific articles were selected, located in scientific pages such as Pubmed, Cochrane, Scielo and Google academic. All examined according to the Grade scale, allowing their strength and quality of evidence to be defined. The 100% quantitative study (n=10/10) according to the methodological design (4/10) are quasi-experimental, (5/10) experimental and (1/10) systematic review. The countries where the investigations were carried out correspond to Colombia 10%, Korea 10%, Iran 10%, Guatemala 10%, United States 20%, Israel 10%, Mexico 10% and Brazil 20% Results: The review was carried out at 100% ( n=9/10) of the scientific articles examined showed the total effectiveness of the use of alcohol gel for hand disinfection in health personnel and (n= 1/10) shows weakness in its results due to some factors that altered the results (application technique, amount of alcohol gel and drying time.) Conclusions: After having investigated the 10 selected articles on the subject, it is concluded that 90% respond affirmatively about the effectiveness of the use of alcohol gel for hand disinfection in health personnel and only 10%, one could say, do not give full confirmation due to poor handling of the technique, insufficient amount of alcohol gel and drying time. what is needed for such aseptic practice.

They are an essential part of evidence-based medicine due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. Results: Of the total number of articles analyzed, 100% (n=10/10) affirm that Breastfeeding to improve mother-child health in the care of health facilities is effective. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) show that breastfeeding in the health of the mother and child in the care of health facilities is effective, as it demonstrates that after the interventions are carried out, They presented positive effects on appropriate actions on mother-child health.

    Effectiveness of double gloving compared to single gloving in hospitals to reduce percutaneous injuries and cross infections in healthcare workers

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the use of double gloves compared to the use of single gloves in hospitals to reduce percutaneous injuries and cross infections in health personnel. Materials and Methods: systematic review, 10 full-text articles were chosen, where 1 belongs to Finland, 2 to the USA, 1 to Nigeria, 2 to China, 2 to Spain, 1 to Mexico and 1 to the United Kingdom respectively. Quantitative studies and design corresponding to systematic reviews (4), Prospective (2), Clinical Trial (3) and Experimental (1) were reviewed. Results: Of the articles reviewed, 100% indicate that the use of double gloves compared to the use of single gloves in hospitals is more effective in terms of protection and reduction of percutaneous injuries and cross infections. Conclusions: The use of double or double-layer gloves considerably reduces the incidence of percutaneous injuries and therefore definitively reduces cross infections due to exposure to pathogens.

    Effectiveness of early use of continuous positive airway pressure in preventing bronchopulmonary dysplasia in premature newborns

    The present research work is based on the review of 10 articles, 80% (8/10) articles show that the early use of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) in premature babies without apnea is a valid strategy. , to the extent that in more than 80% of cases it provides sufficient treatment and of shorter duration than that required if mechanical ventilation were immediately applied, which also reduces the risk of lung injury associated with this assistance respiratory. This means that in a very good part of these patients the problem is resolved with less exposure to oxygen, avoiding the consequences of mechanical ventilation, consequently reducing the incidence of central nervous system hemorrhage, sepsis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, without increasing the risk of pneumothorax. Concluding that the early use of CPAP is a safe, low-cost method and an effective therapy in premature neonates with respiratory difficulty. It reduces in-hospital morbidity and mortality, reduces the incidence of complications, such as Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, and is an alternative to routine intubation and the need for mechanical ventilation.

    Effectiveness of ergonomic interventions in reducing musculoskeletal disorders in office computer workers

    Objective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions in reducing musculoskeletal disorders in office computer workers. Material and Methods: design, quantitative systematic review. Population given by 156 articles, sample of 10 articles. The following databases were used: Pub Med, Scielo, Elservier, Cochrane. 100% quantitative type, study design 30% systematic reviews, 30% randomized controlled trial, 10% pre-experimental and 30% quasi-experimental. According to the quality of evidence, 70% were found to be high and 30% were moderate. According to the strong recommendation strength 70% and weak 30%; Depending on the country of origin, they correspond to the United States 20%, Turkey 20%, Canada 10%, Nepal 10%, Italy 10%, Iran 10%, Peru 10% and Colombia 10%. Results: 90% (n = 9/10) show the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions in musculoskeletal disorders in office IT workers and 10% (n = 1/10) differ because there is not enough evidence. Conclusion: It was concluded that 9 out of 10 authors point out the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions in musculoskeletal disorders in office computer workers while 1 out of 10 differs because there is not enough evidence regarding the research topic.

    Effectiveness of hand hygiene with alcohol-based solution compared to other solutions in reducing bacterial flora in healthcare workers

    Objective: Systematize the effectiveness of hand hygiene with alcohol-based solution compared to other solutions for reducing the bacterial flora of health personnel. Material and Methods: Quantitative systematic review. Population 52 articles, sample 10 scientific articles, databases: Scielo, Pubmed, Elsevier. 100% quantitative study. According to the results obtained, 10% of the methodological design are systematic reviews, 70% experimental and 20% quasi-experimental; quality of evidence high in 10%, weak 70% and moderate 20%. Strong recommendation strength 10% and weak 90%. Results: According to the review of 100% (n=10/10) of the scientific articles, it was evident that 40% (n=4/10) indicate the effectiveness of hand hygiene with alcohol-based solution compared to other solutions. to reduce the bacterial flora in health personnel. 60% (n=6/10) say they are discordant. Conclusion: 4 articles point out the effectiveness of hand hygiene with alcohol-based solution compared to other solutions for reducing bacterial flora in health personnel; and, 6 articles point out that it is discordant.

    Effectiveness of heated gases in patients with artificial airways to maintain adequate temperature and humidity

    Method: A systematic review of the 10 selected scientific articles on the effectiveness of heated gases in patients with artificial airways to maintain appropriate temperature and humidity was conducted. These articles were found in the following databases: PubMed, Scielo, Cochrane, LILACS, and Medline. All articles were evaluated using the GRADE scale to determine their quality and strength of evidence. Results: Of the 10 articles studied, 33.3% (3/10) were systematic review designs, 20% (2/10) were experimental trials, 10% (1/10) were cohort studies, 33.3% (3/10) were experimental studies, and 10% (1/10) were case-control studies. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles evaluated (10/10), 100% demonstrate the effectiveness of using heated gases in patients with artificial airways.

    Effectiveness of high-flow nasal cannula in patients with bronchiolitis for improving clinical outcomes

    Objective: Systematize and analyze the evidence on the effectiveness of the use of high-flow nasal cannula in patients with bronchiolitis. Material and Methods: 10 scientific articles published in different databases were taken, the GRADE system was used to classify the quality of evidence and estimate the strength of recommendation, the studies come from: Australia, Norway, USA, Spain and Atlanta. Of the 10 articles, 20% (n= 2/10) are systematic reviews, 20% (n= 2/10) are randomized controlled studies and 60% (n= 6/10) are cohort studies. Results: With the High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) oxygen saturation improves in the first 12 hours, the need for intubation in patients with bronchiolitis is reduced by 8.4%; There is a 12% rate of escalation of care in infants with HFNC due to failure; Those older than 12 months respond well, as do infants with bronchiolitis, to the use of HFNC; 13% of failure is due to metabolic failures; Of the total failures, 28% go to CPAP and 11% to be intubated. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles, 9/10 determine that the use of HFNC in patients with bronchiolitis is effective in improving the clinical picture, managing to reduce R.F., increase oxygen P/A, decrease HR and increase O2 saturation. . And 1/10 points out that it is not effective, since the study had a limited population, there is a lack of more studies that guarantee the effectiveness of the high-flow nasal cannula in emergencies.

    Effectiveness of high-level disinfection of semi-critical medical materials to reduce microbial load

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of high-level disinfection in semi-critical materials to reduce the microbial load. Methodology: systematic descriptive review, to collect the articles those that present full text have been taken and those that were selected were subjected to a critical reading where the GRADE evaluation is used to verify the degree of evidence. Results: 10 articles have been definitively selected, we found that 40% (04) correspond to Brazil, 30% (3) correspond to the United States, 20% (2) correspond to Peru and 10% (1) correspond to Argentina. Where 40% (n=04/10) of these state, they show that high-level disinfection in semi-critical materials is not effective and recommended for this type of medical materials as long as it is not done and a correct process is not followed. due to lack of knowledge or commitment on the part of the working staff; also for not knowing how to use the correct DAN following the technical specifications recommended by the manufacturer, 20% (n=02/10) of these mention that the DAN is effective, 20% (n=02/10) mention that The personnel who are going to use the semi-critical materials must have prior training for the good management of the DAN, 10% (n=01/10) refer and emphasize that the use of the DAN in materials is necessary. semi-critical and 10% (n=01/10) do not report data due to lack of evidence.     Effectiveness of kidney transplant compared to dialysis in improving the quality of life in patients with chronic kidney failure

    Materials and Methods: The type of study of this work is qualitative, with a design of systematic reviews, controlled clinical trials, cross-sectional analytical, correlational and quasi-experimental study, the database instrument Pubmed NCBI, scielo, Cochrane. Not older than 10 years, in English. Results: in the present study, a population of 20 research articles was analyzed, the sample was 10 articles, of which 40% (4) correspond to systematic review, 30% (3) controlled clinical trials, 10% (1 ) cross-sectional analytical, 10% (1) correlational, 10% (1) is quasi-experimental study. We find that 30% (03) correspond to Spain, with 20% (02) we find Poland and with 10% (01) we find Canada, the United States, France, Georgia and the United Kingdom. Conclusions: According to the 10 articles reviewed, 100% conclude that kidney transplant is more effective and provides better quality of life because they experience better life participation rates compared to patients who receive dialysis, and the risk of mortality and cardiovascular events is reduced. The emotional role of mood in post-transplant patients significantly improves the quality of life and is classified as excellent, this is due to the fact that the majority of patients have a support network of their family, friends and/or healthcare professionals. health.

    Effectiveness of laparoscopic distal gastrectomy compared to open distal gastrectomy in reducing intraoperative blood loss and hospital stay in patients with early gastric cancer

These studies come from the countries of China (50%), followed by Japan (10%), Australia (10%), Korea (10%), the USA (10%), and England (10%). Results: The evidence found, 100% (n=6/10) indicates that Laparoscopic Distal Gastrectomy is effective in reducing intraoperative blood loss and hospital stay in patients with early gastric cancer. Conclusion: Laparoscopic Distal Gastrectomy is effective in reducing intraoperative blood loss and hospital stay in patients with early gastric cancer.

    Effectiveness of light mesh compared to heavy mesh in reducing postoperative pain in patients with inguinal hernia

The population consisted of 80 articles, 10 scientific articles were chosen as a sample, they had the following databases as instruments: Pub Med, Springer Link, Cochrane Bookstore. 100% qualitative (n= 10/10). According to the results obtained, according to the methodological design, 20% are systematic review and meta-analysis, 10% are systematic review, 30% are meta-analysis review and 40% experimental, according to the quality of the evidence according to the Grade se system. found high at 100% high and according to the strength of the recommendation 100% strong. Material and Method: the design used was a systematic review. The population was made up of 20 articles from indexed journals, which, through inclusion and exclusion criteria, determined a sample of 10 scientific articles. The GRADE system was used to evaluate the quality and strength of recommendation of the evidence. Results: From the review carried out, 40% (4/10) come from the United States, 20% (2/10) come from France, 10% (1/10) from Turkey, 10% (1/10) Spain , 10% (1/10) Japan and 10% (1/10) Israel. According to the study design, 30% (3/10) were systematic reviews, 20% (2/10) randomized clinical trials, 40% (4/10) observational cohort and 10% (1/10) quasi-experimental. According to the quality of evidence, 50% (5/10) were high and the other 50% (5/10) were moderate. Conclusions: There is significant evidence of the effectiveness of the use of the nasogastric tube in patients with digestive bleeding.

Results: 10 articles were selected, 50% (5/10) correspond to Systematic Review 10% (1/10), Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial 10% (1/10), Quasi-Experimental 10% (1/10), Study Pre Experimental 10% (1/10), Controlled Clinical Trial 10% (1/10) and Experimental 10% (1/10). Conclusions: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 80% (8/10) of them conclude that there is notable effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions for improving social skills in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. These interventions help reduce stress, hyperactivity, anxiety, depression and improve emotional control. Psychological and psychopedagogical treatment improves behavior and social skills.
