Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of professional life and burnout syndrome in nursing staff working, in the Private Clinic Jesus del Norte, Lima 2018.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-09) Chávez Simón, Yemel; Rodríguez Sevillano, Leonor; Perez Siguas, Rosa EvaThe objective of this research study was to determine the relationship between Professional Quality of Life and Burnout Syndrome in nursing staff working at the Clínica Privada Jesús del Norte, Lima 2018. Method: Quantitative, cross-sectional study. The population consisted of 90 nurses working at the Clínica Privada Jesús del Norte. The instruments used were the “Cuestionario CVP 35” to measure professional quality of life and the “Maslach Burnout Inventory” scale to assess burnout syndrome. Results: In terms of sociodemographic factors, 64.4% were female and 35.6% male. Regarding age, 68.9% were between 24 and 37 years old, and 31.1% were between 38 and 50 years old. In terms of marital status, 51.1% were single, 25.6% married, 18.9% cohabiting, and 4.4% divorced. Regarding professional quality of life, 73.3% had good CVP, and 26.7% had average CVP. Regarding Burnout Syndrome, 50% had low Burnout Syndrome, 28.9% had medium Burnout Syndrome, and 21.1% had high Burnout Syndrome. Conclusion: There is no relationship between professional quality of life and Burnout Syndrome in nurses working at the Clínica Privada Jesús del Norte, chi-square= 3.209, df=2, p-value= 0.201.
