Publicación Acceso abierto Utilización de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación en el aprendizaje musical en el aula(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-26) Rojas López, Marcel Fabián; Méndez Toledo, Heimer AliObjective: To determine the influence of information and communication technologies on the musical learning of the eighth grade students of the Roberto Velandia Educational Institution of the Municipality of Mosquera in 2017. Methodology: Applied research of quasi - experimental design with control group performing a pre and a post test. The population considered were students of the Eighth grade of the Roberto Velandia Educational Institution of Mosquera. This students have ages in the range of 13 -15 years. The influence of using ICT (independent variable) in the musical learning at the classroom (dependent variable) was sought, examining its incidence in each of the dimensions of learning (Conceptual, procedural, and attitudinal), giving an answer to the problem exposed and validating the hypotheses. Results: The general hypothesis was confirmed “The use of Information and Communication Technologies significantly influences the musical learning of the eighth grade students of the Roberto Velandia Educational Institution of Mosquera in the year 2017”. Although, the specific hypothesis regarding the conceptual dimension of musical learning could not be confirmed, the specific hypotheses regarding the procedural and attitudinal dimensions of the students in the musical learning were confirmed. The verification of the hypotheses was carried out applying the Student T test for independent samples. Conclusions: There is evidence to conclude that the use of Information and Communication Technologies significantly influences the musical learning of the eighth grade students of the Roberto Velandia Educational Institution Mosquera in 2017, due to the bilateral significance obtained in Student's T test (p=.000 < = 0.05) in the post test.
