    The relationship between management skills and job performance has been a subject of study in recent decades, because the way of managing and how nurses perform their hospital duties has taken on great relevance, encountering controversies between the administrative area and the assistance. The objective of the research was to determine if there is a relationship between management skills and job performance in nurses at the Augusto Hernández Mendoza Ica 2023 Hospital. Study with a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, nonexperimental and observational design; in a population of 143 nurses, taking 105 of them as a sample. The data were analyzed using Pearson and Spearman correlations depending on their normal distribution, being analyzed with 95% significance in the SPSS V.26 program. Results in the 105 nurses showed that good management skills are present in 85.71% of the nurses, while 14.29% present management skills at a regular level and job performance was adequate in 90.48% of the nurses, while 9.52 % present work performance in process. Regarding the correlational results, a positive and moderate correlation is evident between technical skills (rho=0.445), human skills (rho=0.667), conceptual skills (rho=0.487); with job performance. It is concluded that there is a positive and moderate correlation between management skills and job performance in nurses at the Augusto Hernández Mendoza Hospital, Ica 2023.
