Publicación Acceso abierto Liderazgo transformacional en la gestión y satisfacción laboral en el personal de enfermería del Hospital Central de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-20) Sanchez Espinoza, Julissa; Pereyra Paredes, Susan Jacqueline; Benites Castillo, Santiago MoisesThis research is aimed at establishing the relationship between the variables of Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction, in health management. The study was carried out with the nursing staff belonging to the FAP Central Hospital. For the present investigation, we worked with a sample of 154 nursing personnel, including appointed, contracted personnel and CAS personnel, who perform care work within the institution. For the collection of data on transformational leadership, the Multifactorial Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ Form 5X), an abbreviated version of Bass and Avolio (2004), was used as a source, from which only the items related to transformational leadership were taken. The researchers carried out the adaptation obtaining a final instrument of 21 items, divided into 4 dimensions. Likewise, for the job satisfaction variable, the instrument was designed considering the intrinsic and extrinsic factors of the Herzberg Theory, consisting of 16 items divided into two dimensions. The results showed that there is a moderate and positive significant correlation between the dimensions of transformational leadership and job satisfaction, that is, when there is a high perception of transformational leadership with respect to nursing leaders, job satisfaction also tends to be high.
