Ítem Acceso abierto Job satisfaction and working conditions of nurses in the medicine department at the Guillermo Kaelin de la Fuente Hospital, Lima - 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-27) Oré Motta, Erik Jaime; Soto Carrillo, Cecilia Carmela; Orellana Arauco, Héctor EmilioObjective is to determine the relationship between the level of job satisfaction and the working conditions of the nurse. The methodology presents a quantitative descriptive correlational cross-sectional study, the population is finite and consisted of 60 nurses; The instruments are validated by the MINSA. The results regarding the Job Satisfaction of the nursing professional, in the medicine service of the Guillermo Kaelin hospital, found that 68.3% presented a medium level of job satisfaction, 28.3% high and 3.3% low. On the other hand, in the dimensions, it was found that most of them present a medium Job Satisfaction; whose values range between 56.7% to 46.7%, followed by high satisfaction and finally, a low level of satisfaction. With the exception of the Personal Development dimensions, 91.7% presented a low level of satisfaction, followed by medium and high; Finally, in the Social Benefits dimension, 66.7% presented a high level of satisfaction, followed by medium and low. Finally, with respect to working conditions, it was found that 68.3% presented a regular working condition, followed by 28.3% good and 3.3% bad. Concluding that there is a relationship between the level of job satisfaction and the working conditions of the nurse in the Medicine Service of the Guillermo Kaelin Hospital 2018; because better working conditions will result in greater job satisfaction.
