Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of educational programs aimed at nursing staff to improve their performance and self-efficacy in emergency situations(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-19) Terrazos Huaraca, Erika Cinthia; Ayala Yanayaco, Yanet Feliza; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: To systematize the evidence found on the effectiveness of educational programs aimed at nursing staff to improve their performance and self-efficacy in emergency situations. Material and Methods: The design used to prepare this work was the systematic review, based on the GRADE evaluation system to assess the quality of evidence of the articles selected from the following databases: PubMed, Epistemonikos, ScientDirect and Ebsco. Results: The articles reviewed showed that 40% were systematic reviews, 30% were quasi-experimental designs, 20% were systematic reviews and meta-analyses and 10% were randomized clinical trials. On the other hand, in 90% of the articles evidence was found of the effectiveness of educational programs aimed at nursing staff to improve their performance and self-efficacy in emergency situations, while 10% found no evidence regarding the effectiveness of educational programs aimed at nursing staff to improve their performance and self-efficacy in emergency situations. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed in (9/10) it was found that there is effectiveness of educational programs aimed at nursing staff to improve their performance and self-efficacy in emergency situations and in (1/10) no effectiveness was found of educational programs aimed at nursing staff to improve their performance and self-efficacy in emergency situations.
