The main causes of these are unhealthy eating, lack of physical activity, and consequently chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 17.7 million people died from cardiovascular diseases in 2015. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between cardiovascular disease risk and physical activity levels in third-party security personnel at a National Hospital in Callao, 2023. Descriptive, quantitative method. An evaluation was carried out on 93 participants, applying anthropometry through weight, height, and abdominal circumference for cardiovascular risk, as well as the use of the short version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) in Spanish, which consists of 7 questions. The results were determined and measured using Spearman's correlation coefficient, with a statistically significant p-value of 0.001<0.05. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between cardiovascular disease risk and physical activity levels in third-party security personnel at the National Hospital in Callao, 2023.
