Publicación Acceso abierto Estrés y satisfacción laboral en el profesional sanitario del Hospital I Huariaca - Pasco 202(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-06-04) Calero Chamorro, Merly Milagros; Vargas Díaz, Thalía Giuliana; Montellanos Cabrera, Henry SamObjective: The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between work stress and job satisfaction among healthcare professionals at Hospital I Huariaca - Pasco in 2024. Materials and Methods: A correlational design was applied to a sample of 83 health professionals, using validated questionnaires: the ILO-WHO Occupational Stress Questionnaire and the SL/SPL Job Satisfaction Scale. Results: A moderate positive correlation was found between work stress and job dissatisfaction (Rho = 0.449, p < 0.001), indicating that higher stress levels are associated with lower job satisfaction. The "infrastructure and resources" and "organization and leadership" dimensions also showed significant positive correlations with job satisfaction. Conclusion: The working conditions and organizational management may reduce stress and enhance staff satisfaction.
