    Dolor osteoarticular asociado al uso de hierbas medicinales en mujeres mayores a 30 años que acuden al mercado virgen de las mercedes, Lurín 2024

    The objective was to analyze the association of osteoarticular pain with the use of medicinal herbs in women over 30 years of age who attend the Virgen de las Mercedes Market, Lurín 2024. Method. The study was cross-sectional, non-experimental design, hypothetical deductive method, correlational scope, basic type, quantitative approach, sample 144 women, data were collected through surveys using a questionnaire, the hypothesis was contrasted with Spearman's Rho test. Results. Of 144 women, 41% were 51 to 60 years old; 51.4% were married; 38.9% were overweight. Regarding the anatomical location, osteoarticular pain was moderate, 39.6% in the back; 18.1% in the neck; 41.0% in the shoulder; 39.6% in the knee and 18.1% in the head; pain caused difficulty; 34.0% for sleep; 23.6% to concentrate; 34.0% to remain unemployed; 45.8% the pain increased during the day; 34.0% increased overnight. The use of medicinal herbs was regular; 29.9% moringa; 12.5% chiric sanango; 24.3% turmeric; 22.2% valerian; 14.6% ginger and 3.5% St. John's wort; 37.5% used the leaves; 9% the root; 3.5% the bark; 19.1% prepared it in the form of a decoction; 29.9% in infusion. There was a moderate statistical association between osteoarticular pain and the use of medicinal herbs (p=0.000 and rho=0.668). Conclusion. If there is an association between osteoarticular pain with the use of medicinal herbs in women over 30 years of age.
