    Workload and its relationship with the quality of nursing professional care in the emergency area of ​​a hospital in Lima 2022

    Objective: Analyze the relationship between workload and quality of care of nursing professionals in the emergency area of a hospital in Lima, 2022. Methodology: This study has a quantitative, basic approach, with a cross-sectional, non-experimental, and correlational design. The population consists of 45 licensed nurses working in the emergency department of the José Casimiro Ulloa Hospital, according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The survey technique will be used for the evaluation of workload, with the questionnaire called Workload, authored by Hart and Staveland (1988), and for the evaluation of quality of care, the CARE-Q (Care Scale) questionnaire developed by Dr. Patricia Larson will be used. Both questionnaires have been adapted and validated through expert judgment by Gina Susanibar in her research study in 2019.
