    Vocación profesional y competencias docentes en el nivel de educación inicial de Lampa, 2024

    The main objective of the research was to establish the relationship between professional vocation and teaching skills at the Initial Education level of Lampa. Using a quantitative approach, a non-experimental-transversal design and a correlational level, 100 teachers from the department of Puno participated, who were administered the Scale of Organizational and Didactic Teaching Competencies (ESCOD) and the Vocational Evaluation Survey by Angulo et al. (2018). Among the most relevant findings, it can be indicated that there is a significant and positive relationship between the two analysis variables (r = .638). Likewise, direct correlations were established between didactic (r =. 821) and organizational (r = .876) competencies with professional vocation. According to the results, it can be concluded that professional vocation is a key factor that allows teachers to continue developing the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to improve children's learning processes, in addition to improving their performance and involvement with their role within the educational institution.
