Ítem Acceso abierto Job satisfaction of employees and its influence on the quality of care for users in healthcare organizations.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-12-03) López Amasifén, Wendy Fiorella; Zorozábal De La Cruz, Flor Guicela; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjective: To systematize the evidence on employee job satisfaction and its influence on the quality of care provided to users in healthcare organizations. Materials and Methods: This is a systematic observational and retrospective review that synthesizes the results of primary research. These studies are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions. The search was limited to articles with full-text content, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendation. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen. We found that 27.3% (3) are from Mexico with low evidence, 9.1% (1) are from Brazil with high evidence, and 18.2% (2) are from Mexico with moderate evidence. Additionally, we found 9.1% (1) from Spain with low evidence, and 9.1% (1) from Honduras, Argentina, and Chile, respectively, with low evidence. The results of this review conclude that employee job satisfaction in healthcare organizations is related to its influence on the quality of care provided to users. Conclusions: The studies reviewed show that the level of job satisfaction can affect both the quantity and quality of the work performed by employees, as well as impact other aspects such as the overall quality of service delivery, absenteeism, and the tendency to leave the organization.Ítem Acceso abierto Job satisfaction of employees and its influence on the quality of care for users in healthcare organizations.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-12-03) López Amasifén, Wendy Fiorella; Zorozábal De La Cruz, Flor Guicela; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjective: To systematize the evidence on employee job satisfaction and its influence on the quality of care provided to users in healthcare organizations.
