Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados a la no conclusión del Paquete de Atención Integral de salud de adolescentes en Establecimientos de salud de Loreto en el año 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-06) Maguiña Cortez, Arcadia Margarita; Caycho Valencia, Félix AlbertoThe purpose of this thesis is to identify and analyze the factors associated with the noncompletion of the Comprehensive Health Care Package for adolescents in health establishments in Loreto in 2023, with the aim of proposing strategies to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of these essential services for the adolescent population of the region. The research method was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental, crosssectional, comparative correlational design. The study population comprised adolescents who did not complete the Comprehensive Health Care Package in health establishments in Loreto in 2023. The sample, consisting of 317 adolescents, was selected using a probabilistic sampling formula for a finite population, with a confidence level of 96% and a margin of error of 4%. The statistical test used to evaluate the null hypothesis was Pearson's Chi-square. The analysis of the general hypothesis, with a p-value of 0.000, revealed a significant relationship between certain factors and the non-completion of the Comprehensive Health Care Package. In specific hypothesis 1, focused on sociodemographic factors, the p-value of 0.641 indicated no significant relationship, suggesting the acceptance of the null hypothesis. However, for specific hypothesis 2, on psychosocial factors, the p-value of 0.000 confirmed a clear connection with the noncompletion of the package by adolescents. For specific hypothesis 3, with a p-value of 0.810 regarding sexual and reproductive health, the null hypothesis was accepted. These findings suggest that strategies to increase the completion of the Comprehensive Health Care Package should focus on psychosocial factors, while future qualitative research is needed to delve deeper into the other proposed factors.
