Publicación Acceso abierto Competencia emprendedora y actitud emprendedora en estudiantes de la Escuela de Administración de Empresas, en una universidad pública, Trujillo, 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-07-03) León Linares, Richard Ángel; Rosario Pacahuala, Emilio AugustoThe purpose of this research was to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial attitude in business administration students at a public university in Trujillo during the year 2025. The study was based on a basic methodology with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, and an explanatory level. The sample consisted of 203 randomly selected students, who were given two previously validated and reliable Likert-type instruments designed to measure the theoretical dimensions of both variables. Data analysis was performed using Jamovi software, using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed a significant positive correlation between entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial attitude (ρ = 0.601; p < .001). Likewise, relevant associations were found between specific dimensions such as the identification of opportunities and awareness of personal drive toward entrepreneurship. Consequently, it is concluded that students who develop entrepreneurial competencies tend to adopt more favorable attitudes toward entrepreneurial action. This finding reinforces the importance of integrating active methodologies, collaborative environments, and reflective processes in higher education in order to promote professional profiles with a transformative vision and innovative capacity.
