It was proposed as a simple descriptive type of research, with the Objective: Identify the level of depression in patients with kidney disease chronic in hemodialysis therapy at the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital. The population was represented by 25 patients who met the inclusion criteria. Methodology This research has a deductive method with a quantitative, prospective and cross-sectional approach and has a sample made up of 62 patients. Results In this research work we want to ensure that patients can know their emotional state, therefore the nursing staff will play an important role in providing affection from the first contact they have with the patient, performing relaxation techniques, sessions in those who interact with their other classmates, making them participate in festivities throughout the year, sharing on special dates such as their birthday so that in this way confidence can be improved and they can cope with the process to which they are going to be subjected and consequently their level. stress improves. The following study is a cross-sectional, correlational, descriptive study. The population and sample are made up of 39 nurses from the emergency service of a pediatric hospital; The instruments to be used will be the following: the questionnaire to measure emotional intelligence Meta Mood Scale (TMMS), by researchers Saovery and Mayer (1995); It has a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.862; and the Sonia Palma Carrillo questionnaire (SL-SPC) (1999), to measure job satisfaction with a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.858; Both instruments were adapted by the author Lenin Vásquez Vásquez (2021). The person has to use their emotions, guiding them appropriately in activities that are constructive, as well as in personal performance. Emotional intelligence is a good predictor for success in life, as well as a key component for maintaining quality intra- and interpersonal relationships. Objective: Determine emotional intelligence in nurses who work in the intensive care unit with Covid 19 patients of a private clinic in Lima, 2021. Type of study: This research assumes a quantitative approach, descriptive design and cross-sectional, it is constituted by 50 nursing professionals working in the Covid 19 intensive care unit of a private clinic in Lima. Data will be collected through a survey and the instrument that will be used to determine emotional intelligence is the Traid Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), which is made up of 24 items and three dimensions. This instrument was validated in our country by Chang Mey, obtaining adequate results and has a reliability of 0.959 using Cronbach's Alpha. Data processing: The data will be exported to a data matrix designed in the Microsoft Excel 2019 program. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational level. The method used was hypothetical deductive. The population was made up of 90 older adults cared for in a primary care facility, Comas. The sample was census, the type of sampling was non-probabilistic, intentional. Results: In the inferential analysis, the statistical test used was the Chi square statistic (X2). To measure family functioning, the Family Apgar instrument was used, comprising 5 items grouped into 5 dimensions (adaptation, participation, gain, affection and resources), and for quality of life, the WhoQol Bref instrument was used, which measures 4 dimensions ( physical health, psychological health, social relationships and the environment) through 24 questions, additionally 1 question is considered on the global perception of your CV and 1 question on global satisfaction with your health.Publicación Acceso abierto Inteligencia emocional y ansiedad en escolares de primaria de una institución educativa del distrito de Villa el Salvador, Lima 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-04-24) Cortez Quintana, Patricia Fiorella; Villanueva Blas, Laura FaustaEl objetivo fue evaluar de qué manera se relaciona la inteligencia emocional y ansiedad en escolares de primaria de una institución educativa. Método. El estudio fue tipo básico, usó método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental, alcance descriptivo correlacional, corte transversal, enfoque cuantitativo, la muestra fue 102 escolares de primaria de una institución educativa del distrito de Villa El Salvador, Lima, sobre quienes se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta con un cuestionario como instrumento para recolectar datos, y cuya hipótesis del estudio fue contrastada mediante correlación de Rho de Spearman. Resultados. Se encontró como resultado principal que existe relación considerable inversa y significativa entre la inteligencia emocional y la ansiedad (p=0,000; rho= −0,725). Conclusión. Del resultado principal se puede derivar que si mejora la inteligencia emocional puede hacer posible una disminución del nivel de la ansiedad de los escolares de primaria de una institución educativa del distrito de Villa El Salvador, Lima.Publicación Acceso abierto Violencia familiar y depresión en mujeres hospitalizadas en la Unidad de Salud Mental, Hospital Público Lima Sur, 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-09-21) Jiménez Castillo, Stacy Liliana; Reyes Gastañadui, Nael HenryIntroducción: a violencia familiar como un mal endémico social, que consiste en el uso desmedido de la fuerza física y emocional, con la finalidad de control, manipuleo de un miembro de la familia, pues son las mujeres víctimas, su tendencia están en incremento y su consecuencia de las mismas son fatales para la salud mental de la mujer y su entorno. Objetivo: “Determinar la relación de la violencia familiar y depresión en mujeres hospitalizadas en la Unidad de Salud Mental, 2025”. Metodología, responde al método hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel aplicada, su diseño no experimental, corte transversal, la muestra está representada por 72 pacientes, para recolectar la información se utilizará como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento dos cuestionarios validado y confiable: Para medir la violencia familiar un cuestionario de CVIFA y mientras la variable Depresión se utilizará en cuestionario de BECK II, el tiempo estimado para para recolectar la información será de 30 minutos, los mismos serán procesadas utilizando un software SPSS versión 27.0. Para presentar los hallazgos se utilizará la estadística descriptiva, que nos permite analizar las tendencias y el grado de correlación entre la variable de violencia familiar y la depresión, Además, la hipótesis se probará utilizando la prueba estadística de Rho de Spearman con un nivel de confianza del 95% como estimación estadística.
