Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge about severe head brain trauma and its relationship with the practice of nursing staff in patients of the emergency service of a public hospital. Amazonas.2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-12) Montenegro Tapia, Isabel; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioGeneral objective: To determine the relationship between nursing staff's knowledge of severe traumatic brain injury and practice in patients of the Emergency Department of a Hospital in Amazonas, 2023. Materials and Methods: The research will be carried out using a hypotheticaldeductive, quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational approach. The population will be composed of eighty emergency nurses. Two questionnaires will be used as instruments for the survey and observation techniques, which will be used to measure the two variables, and will be validated by Quispe's work in 2022 in Peru. The instruments have been validated by expert judgment and have demonstrated an applicable and valid value with the Cron Bach Alpha coefficient, which were suitable for use, where V1 had a value of 0.806 while V2 had a value of 0.895. In terms of reliability, V1 obtained a Kuder Richardson (KR20) value of 0.965, making it reliable, while V2 obtained a Cron Bach Alpha value of 0.806 in a pilot sample of 10 respondents. Once exported, they will be processed using descriptive statistics (Stanine test) and Pearson's correlation. SPSS Version 25 statistical software will then be used to interpret the results, supported by tables and graphs.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practice of nursing care on serious cranial brain injury of the emergency service of the San José de Chincha Hospital, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-25) Peña Quispe, Maribel Yesenia; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelIntroduction: Lately, there has been an increase in interest in the study of the management of patients with this damage, to improve the quality of patient care by emergency service nurses. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and nursing practice on severe head injury in the emergency service of the San José de Chincha Hospital, 2023”. Methods: applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional study. The census sample consisted of 50 nursing graduates from the emergency service only. In addition, the survey will be used to then apply the two questionnaires with a Likert scale to the patients, in addition, they were validated and are reliable in order to measure both study variables. Likewise, the data collection will go through the statistical processing in SPSS 27 and the hypotheses will be tested using a statistical test of the coefficient of achievement.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practice of nursing staff in the management of patients with cranioencephalic trauma admitted to the emergency department of a national hospital in Comas, 2021.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-23) Tineo Gutierrez, Marylin; Cabrera Espezua, Jeannelly PaolaObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between the knowledge and practices of nursing staff in the management of patients with traumatic brain injury who enter the emergency service of a National Hospital of Comas, 2021. Technique and instrument: The technique to be used will be the survey and an observation guide and the instrument that will be used is a questionnaire of 20 questions that will evaluate the knowledge of the nursing staff in its dimension of airway management, ventilation, circulatory, neurological and patient exposure giving values using the Stanones scale (high, medium and low) and to evaluate the practice of the nursing staff, an observation guide will be used that consists of 27 specific interventions that will determine if the nursing staff has a adequate or inadequate, said Instruments were developed by Quiroz Evangelista Liz in Peru in 2015 which were not modified for said study. The statistical analyzes will be carried out through SPSS software and the Chi square test will be used to determine the correlation of both variables.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and practice in the management of traumatic brain injury among nurses in the intensive care unit of Alberto Barton Thompson Hospital, 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-21) Paquiyauri Fernandez, Ercilia; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: To understand the relationship between knowledge and practice in the management of traumatic brain injury among nurses in the intensive care unit of the Alberto Barton Thompson Hospital, 2022. Method: The research is applied and quantitative in approach. It has a relational scope and a cross-sectional design. The sample universe consists of 65 nursing professionals who meet the criteria for selection. Technique and instrument: The survey will be used to collect observations through a knowledge scale and a checklist to assess the procedures. The data collection period will range from September to November 2022 in the ICU service. Once the data is obtained, it will be transferred to an Excel database and then processed statistically using non-parametric tests due to the categorical and qualitative nature of the variables, applying the Spearman correlation coefficient to measure the magnitude of the association and test the hypothesis, all using SPSS 25.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge on the management of adult patients with severe traumatic brain injury due to traffic accidents and its relationship with nursing practice in the emergency department of a clinic in Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-25) Escalona Rivero, Franmary Josefina; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelObjective: "To determine how the level of knowledge about the management of adult patients with severe traumatic brain injury due to traffic accidents is related to nursing practice in the emergency department".
