Adoption of the maternal role of new mothers in the care of infants under 1 year of age in a maternal-child center in Comas, 2020

The theoretical foundation of this research work is Ramona Mercer, whose main objective is to determine the level of adoption of the maternal role of first-time mothers in the care of infants under 1 year of age in a maternal and child center in Comas. This study is quantitative, non-experimental approach, whose instrument that will be used will be the Maternal Role Adoption Scale by authors Garrido and Marchan. This research will be carried out in accordance with the principles of bioethics: autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice. Therefore, the participants will be informed pertinently about the research to be carried out and informed consent will be presented to them. IBM SPSS v25.0 Software will be used for statistical processing. Subsequently, the reflected data are interpreted, depending on the fulfillment of the research objectives.

Attitude of mothers of children aged 6 to 35 months and their relation to micronutrient supplementation at the primary care center of Breña, Lima-2018

Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the attitude of mothers of children from 6 to 35 months of age and the supply of micronutrients at the Primary Care Center in Breña. Material and methods: The approach was quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The sample was made up of 116 mothers of children from 6 to 35 months of age. Results: The study sample presents an attitude of the mothers that is not very appropriate at 56.9% and that is inadequate at 43.1%. It should be noted that none of the mothers surveyed presented an adequate attitude. The inadequate effect is repeated in its three dimensions: cognitive, 100%; affective with 98.3%; and the behavioral dimension, with 97.4%. Regarding the second variable, micronutrient supply, it was found that 93.1% have a poorly adequate supply. 93.1% show adequate preparation and administration of micronutrients. Regarding side effects, 57.8% were adequate, however, the monitoring of supplementation was inadequate in 49.1%. Conclusions: There is no relationship between the attitude of mothers of children from 6 to 35 months and the supply of micronutrients at the Breña Health Center.

Biosocultural factors related to the abandonment of breastfeeding exclusive in mothers of infants under the age of six months that are controlled in a center of public health of Lima – Peru 2022

Objective: To determine the biosociocultural factors related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers of infants under six months of age who are monitored in a public health center in Lima 2022. Materials and methods: The research has a quantitative approach, with respect to the methodological design is non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational, the method used was hypothetical deductive. The population consisted of 80 mothers of infants under six months, the instrument used for data collection was through a questionnaire consisting of 2 variables. Results: Of the mothers surveyed (n=80), 77.5% (n=62) did not abandon exclusive breastfeeding. There is a significant relationship between the biosociocultural factors with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.024 < 0.05). Regarding the biological factors dimension, there is a significant relationship with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.000 < 0.05). Regarding the socioeconomic factors dimension, there is no significant relationship with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.100 > 0.05) and finally it was found that the cultural factors dimension does not exist related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.129 > 0.05). Conclusion: That biological factors are related to the abandonment of breastfeeding, while socioeconomic and cultural factors are not related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding.

Conocimiento de la lactancia materna exclusiva y práctica de madres primíparas en un centro de salud de Lima, 2024

El objetivo de estudio es, “determinar la relación entre el conocimiento de la lactancia materna exclusiva y la práctica de madres primíparas”. Métodos: Se trabajará con una metodología aplicada, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población y muestra estará constituida por 80 madres primíparas en un centro de salud de Lima. Los instrumentos que se usarán para el trabajo de investigación serán un cuestionario y una guía de observación, los cuales ya están validados y con alta confiabilidad, para la recolección de la información se tendrá una duración aproximada de 30 minutos. Luego de la aplicación de los instrumentos, los datos recolectados, codificados y registrados se plasmarán en una matriz de datos la cual será procesada estadísticamente mediante el programa SPSS 25.0 utilizando técnicas descriptivas e inferenciales, esta última a través del Rho de Spearman, que es una prueba, que nos permite confirmar la exactitud de las hipótesis de investigación y así poder proporcionar conclusiones extraídas de la medición de las variables de investigación.

El presente trabajo de investigación tendrá como Objetivo: Determinar como el conocimiento de las madres sobre la alimentación complementaria se relacionan con la práctica en lactantes de 6 a 12 meses de un materno infantil de Lima, 2025. “Su metodología será de método hipotético – deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada, con diseño no experimental” de corte transversal y alcance correlacional. La población será conformada por 96 madres de lactantes de 6 a 12 meses de edad, como técnica se utilizará la encuesta y como instrumento se utilizará un cuestionario, un cuestionario con 20 interrogantes para mensurar “la variable de conocimiento” y el otro cuestionario de 11 interrogantes para mensurar “la variable de práctica”. “Para la verificación de la hipótesis formulada se empleará el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson para escalas ordinales con el propósito de unificar dos variables de tipo cuantitativo”.

El objetivo de la investigación fue “Determinar cómo se relaciona el nivel de conocimientos sobre la lactancia materna exclusiva con las prácticas en madres de un establecimiento de salud, 2025”. Muestra estará conformada por 100 madres con niños menores de 6 meses que acuden al centro de salud. El método de estudio que se utilizará en este presente trabajo de investigación será hipotético- deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental de corte transversal de alcance correlacional. Los instrumentos a utilizases será: dos cuestionarios uno para conocimiento y otro para practicas de lactancia materna. Los resultados serán analizados en SPSS versión 24. Se realizarán análisis descriptivos mediante tablas, frecuencias y porcentajes. El análisis inferencial será a través de las pruebas paramétricas (correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Rho de Spearman).

El estudio se realizará en un puesto de salud de Lima y tendrá como objetivo determinar el conocimiento de las madres sobre alimentación complementaria en niños de 6 a 12 meses en un puesto de salud de Lima en el año 2024. La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, hipotético deductivo, de tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La muestra consistió en 66 madres de familia, a quienes se aplicó un Cuestionario de Conocimientos sobre alimentación complementaria. Para el análisis de la información se empleará el programa de SSPS versión 29, los resultados serán expresados en tablas y figuras a través del programa Excel y la comprobación de la relación de las variables se usará la prueba de correlación de Spearman.

La lactancia materna es el alimento primordial para la población infantil ya que evita enfermedades como el sobrepeso y obesidad, conllevando a un problema de salud, y a la concurrencia sanitaria esto se debe a que las madres o cuidadoras no tienen el conocimiento y escasas prácticas limitando que sus niños no reciban los beneficios. El objetivo del trabajo será: Establecer la vinculación entre los saberes y las conductas respecto a la lactancia materna exclusiva en progenitoras de infantes menores de seis meses en un establecimiento sanitario de Jaén, 2025. Los instrumentos fueron analizados por especialistas, quienes aplicaron una Prueba Binomial (p= 0.00098), revelando su validez y la sinfonía de coincidencias entre los evaluadores era notablemente notable.

Effectiveness of educational intervention on knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding in first-time mothers

The 10 scientific articles were systematically analyzed with the research related to the prenatal education intervention for the benefit of improving the initiation of exclusive breastfeeding for first-time mothers in relation to women who already breastfed exclusively at three or six months. while women who have problems do not achieve complete breastfeeding, so they need help to start breastfeeding, on the other hand, education for mothers to change their attitude and start exclusive breastfeeding for the benefits of their babies, as well It is beneficial to mothers with twins who were educated to have good breastfeeding technique, while future mothers also have knowledge and positive attitudes for exclusive breastfeeding in the future, likewise, communication through cell phones is an important means today to educate to mothers for the benefit of breastfeeding, finally the culture of mothers who received education were beneficial in both groups. Therefore, the effectiveness of the educational intervention on the knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding in first-time mothers taught by nursing professionals to mothers who begin exclusive breastfeeding for the first time and the use of demonstrative educational techniques are a tool fundamental in education to avoid illnesses in their babies in the future.

Estado nutricional de lactantes de 6 a 24 meses y su relación con la anemia que acuden a su control cred en el Hospital de Huaycán, 2025

El estudio buscó identificar la relación entre la anemia y el estado nutricional en bebés de 6 a 24 meses que asistieron a los controles del componente CRED en el Hospital de Huaycán a lo largo de 2025. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo apoyado en el método hipotético deductivo; el trabajo fue aplicado y adoptó un diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 97 lactantes seleccionados por muestreo censal, a quienes se midieron indicadores antropométricos peso/edad, peso/talla y talla/edad, además de los niveles de hemoglobina. El análisis estadístico, mediante la prueba Rho de Spearman, reveló una fuerte correlación positiva entre anemia y estado nutricional (ρ = 0,767; p < 0,001) y halló asociaciones significativas con los índices peso/edad (ρ = 0,621), peso/talla (ρ = 0,663) y talla/edad (ρ = 0,714). La anemia moderada afectó al 46,4 % de los lactantes, mientras la desnutrición crónica alcanzó al 20,7 %. En consecuencia, la anemia se relacionó directamente con el estado de nutrición en esta población, por lo que se sugirió integrar la vigilancia nutricional y el tamizaje hematológico en los programas materno infantiles para mitigar ambas condiciones.

This research aims to: Determine the level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who attend a Maternal and Child Center in Lima, 2024. Methodological design: Descriptive, non-experimental cross-sectional with a quantitative approach. Considering its sample of 132 mothers of infants under 6 months old attended at the CRED clinic of the Lima Maternal and Child Center during the period of 2024. Instrument: A questionnaire will be applied as an instrument that will measure the level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, the which was previously applied by Astocondor Mitma, Diana in 2021. This will present the following parts: the title, presentation, general data and 17 dichotomous items that will serve to evaluate the level of knowledge about SCI in its dimensions: generalities, benefits and techniques of breastfeeding. The following response options were considered: Yes or No; with the following score: YES answer, 2 points and NO answer, 1 point. The author validated her instrument by expert judgment, reporting reliability of 0.75 in Cronbach's alpha. Data collection: will last approximately 30 minutes, for each participant, for the analysis and interpretation of data: SPSS-v27 will be applied and the analysis considers: First stage considers descriptive statistics techniques applying percentages, tables and graphs to identify the levels of each variable and the way in which they are presented among the professionals who participated in the research, for the inferential part and applying Spearman coefficient the hypotheses will be verified.

The objective of the study is to determine the relationship between Knowledge and practice on exclusive breastfeeding of mothers of children under 6 months of age who attend the Hospital II EsSalud Huaraz - Lima 2023. The Methodology The approach will be quantitative, design No experimental, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional type. The population will be made up of 100 mothers who attend the Hospital EsSalud Huaraz and To measure the knowledge level variable, the questionnaire that calculates the knowledge of mothers about breastfeeding, prepared by Barboza, with a validity of p 0.00352 and a reliability of 0.796 measured by Crombach's alpha. For the evaluation of the praxis, it will be through observation, a checklist will be applied. The instrument and the checklist will be completed in person, before the informed consent. A descriptive and correlational statistical analysis will be carried out through the normality test that determines the statistical test to be used. Likewise, the data that is collected will be emptied into an Excel 2021 table and processed in the SPSS statistic in order to carry out the descriptive statistics, which will be presented in tables and figures, and the inferential statistics that will allow the contrasting of hypotheses to determine if there is a relationship between the study variables.

This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge levels and practices regarding complementary feeding of mothers and the nutritional status of infants aged 6 to 12 months at the Toribia Castro Chirinos Health Center, Lambayeque – 2024. It was a study with a quantitative, hypothetical-deductive, cross-sectional approach, with a population of 120 mothers and their children aged 6 to 12 months. The results showed a significant relationship, with a significance level of 0.000, lower than the residence level, and a correlation coefficient of 0.934.

The objective of this research study is to determine the level of knowledge about early stimulation in first-time mothers of minor children of one year who go to the growth and development area of CAP II Lurín ESSALUD – 2020. Descriptive and cross-sectional method research. The population was made up of 30 first-time mothers who came together with their children to the CRED Office. The instrument is sloped, through a questionnaire developed especially for this work and is divided into four parts, depending on the age periods of life of children from 0 to 3 months (11 item), children from 4 to 6 months (11 item), children from 7 to 9 months (9 item) and children from 10 to 11 months (10 item) and each of these parts have been organized according to the 4 dimensions proposed for this research: motor area, language area, coordination area and social area. The rating considers 1 to 5 points of according to the selected answer.

Knowledge of breastfeeding and breastfeeding practices in first-time mothers of the María Auxiliadora Hospital - San Juan de Miraflores - Lima, 2022

Objective: To determine the relationship between breastfeeding and breastfeeding practices in first-time mothers of the Hospital María Auxiliadora de San Juan de Miraflores attended in the year 2022. Methodology: hypothetical-deductive study with a quantitative, non-experimental approach, in which 74 first-time mothers from the María Auxiliadora Hospital in San Juan de Miraflores participated, attended in the month of May 2022, in which their knowledge of breastfeeding was evaluated by conducting a survey. with a "Questionnaire of knowledge of breastfeeding" and their breastfeeding practices with observation through an Observation Guide to evaluate breastfeeding practices. The data were analyzed descriptively by frequencies, measures of central tendency, minimum and maximum values, and the relationship was estimated with a significance of 0.05 using the non- parametric Rho Spearman test. Results: The study sample was characterized by belonging to an age group of 18 to 22 years old (58.1%), having a secondary education (68.9%), being a cohabitant (77%) and coming from Lima (81.1%); In addition, 40.54% had low knowledge and 39.19% medium, breastfeeding practices in 97.3% were inadequate and of those who had adequate practices, 50% had medium knowledge and 50% high knowledge and of those who had inadequate practices 41.7% had low knowledge, 38.9% medium and 19.4% high; observing that both variables are not related (p=0.050), and neither the generalities dimension of the LM (p=0.080) and the benefits dimension (p=0.132) and the hygiene dimension in the LM (p=0.276) is related to breastfeeding practices. Conclusion: There is no relationship between knowledge about breastfeeding and breastfeeding practices since it was evidenced that first-time mothers have some knowledge, however there is a minimum of adequate practices on the subject.

The title of this thesis is "Mothers' Knowledge About Complementary Feeding in Children Under One Year of Age". The objective was to determine mothers' knowledge about complementary feeding in children under one year of age in the Growth and Development Program at the Surquillo Health Center. This research was conducted in Lima city and was undertaken because early or late introduction of complementary feeding, or an imbalanced diet, can lead to chronic malnutrition, which causes irreparable damage by hindering physical growth and affecting school performance and cognitive development. The study was qualitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional; the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as the instrument. The sample consisted of 200 mothers. The results showed that 56% of the mothers had moderately adequate knowledge regarding complementary feeding in general. In terms of basic knowledge about complementary feeding, including the introduction of foods to children and the characteristics of the feeding provided by the mothers, they presented moderately adequate knowledge. There is a need to educate mothers on the number of meals per day they should provide, the quantity of food, strategies to encourage their child to eat, foods that cause allergies, prevent anemia, and those that promote growth and development, as these were the least known.

Level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding in primigravid mothers attending the Cayetano Heredia Hospital, Lima 2021

Material and method: It is a quantitative approach research, with a cross-sectional descriptive research methodological design. Unit of analysis: The data will be obtained from first-pregnant mothers who attend the Cayetano Heredia hospital in the months of January, February and March 2021. Population and sample: The population will be made up of 80 first-pregnant mothers and the probabilistic sample will be made up of 67 mothers. primigravida Technique and instrument: For the field study, the survey technique will be used. To measure the level of knowledge, the Avendaño and Medrano (2017) questionnaire will be used, which is made up of 14 questions with 4 dimensions with a final value of good, average and bad. Limitations: Although data collection will be carried out in the first quarter of 2021, which will be taken using simple random sampling, slowness in data collection is expected due to the COVID19 pandemic, which has generated a state of emergency due to restriction of access to services due to risk of increased infections since the Cayetano Heredia hospital treats COVID19 cases.

Results. The level of knowledge in dimension basic concepts of breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice in 71.6%. The level of knowledge in its benefits dimension with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice in 58%. The level of knowledge in its technical dimension of breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice 61.4%. The level of knowledge with exclusive breastfeeding practices, there is a medium level of knowledge with inadequate breastfeeding practice 77.3%.
