Se realizará un análisis inferencial utilizando Tau-B de Kendall como prueba estadística para identificar la relación que existe.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of burn care in reducing pain and infection in pediatric patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-01) Laguna Utrilla, Vanessa Beatriz; Mamani Vega, Yenny; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: To systematize the evidence found on the effectiveness of burn care to reduce pain and infection in pediatric patients. Material and Methods: Systematic review, based on critical reading and carried out under the GRADE evaluation system to assess the quality of evidence of the articles selected from the following databases: PubMed, Epistemonikos, Wiley Online Library, Sciencedirect, Cochrane and Scielo. Results: The reviewed articles showed that 40% are randomized controlled trials, 30% are systematic reviews, 10% are prospective randomized controlled trials, 10% are retrospective cohort studies and 10% are non-experimental quantitative descriptive studies. On the other hand, it was found that 90% support the effectiveness of burn care for reducing pain and infection in pediatric patients, decreasing the burned body area and reepithelialization of the burn, while 10% indicate that there is not enough evidence around the research topic and the appearance of infection in pediatric patients was found. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed in (9/10) it was found that there is effectiveness of burn care for reducing pain and infection in pediatric patients and in (1/10) it was shown that there is no effectiveness.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of honey use compared to silver sulfadiazine for tissue regeneration in burn patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-02) Mendez Dolorier, Lucia Esther; Aquino Condor, Aurelio Rafael; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: To carry out a systematic analysis of the evidence found about the effectiveness of the use of honey compared to the use of silver sulfadiazine for tissue regeneration in patients with burns. Material and method: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles found about the effectiveness of the use of honey compared to the use of silver sulfadiazine for tissue regeneration in patients with burns, were found in the following Cochrane databases, Scielo, Pubmed, Medline Lilacs; All of them were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 50% (05/10) belong to the methodological design of a comparative randomized clinical trial, 20% (02/10) to systematic reviews plus meta-analysis, 20% (02/10) to cohort study and 10% (01/10) only to a systematic review. Of the 10 articles fully reviewed, 100% (10/10) show that the use of honey is more effective than the use of silver sulfadiazine in tissue regeneration of patients with burns, having a more positive effect on the healing process. Conclusions: The study concluded that of the 10 articles reviewed, the total (10/10) evidence the effectiveness of the use of honey compared to the use of silver sulfadiazine for tissue regeneration in patients with burns.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of initial care in reducing complications in burn patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-08) Cabrera Rivera, Giovanna Yasmin; Ramos Mendoza, Daniela Milagros; Glenni Garay, Zarely ZabeliThe type of research is qualitative, the study design is a systematic review, the population was 30 articles, the sample was comprised of 10 scientific articles published in scientific databases, the instrument was a database search: Cochrane Library, Scielo, PubMed, Burns-Journal, ELSEVIER, Redalyc, EBSCO, the GRADE method was used to evaluate the articles, which evaluated the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation.
