Ítem Acceso abierto Sociodemographic characteristics and quality of nursing care in hospitalized patients at the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima - 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-09-07) Oviedo Zuñiga, Rossio; Tapia Fuentes, Verónica Tiofila; Matta Solis, Hernán HugoObjective: Determine the sociodemographic characteristics related to the quality of nursing care in patients hospitalized at the San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima - 2018. Methodology: it was a non-experimental, quantitative and cross-sectional descriptive correlational study. The population was made up of 200 patients who were admitted in the month of April to May for the collection of information. The CUCACE instrument was used. Results: showed a significant relationship with sociodemographic variables such as the level of education with an asymptotic Sig. (bilateral) of .023 < 0.05 and with the days of hospitalization with an asymptotic Sig. (bilateral) of .003 < 0. .05; No relationship was found with sex, age and marital status; It was also found that 53% of patients perceived a level of quality of nursing care very good, 26.5% perceived a level of quality of nursing care good, 15.5% perceived a level of quality of nursing care completely good, 4.0% perceived a fair level of quality of nursing care, followed by 1.0% who perceived a level of poor quality of nursing care. Conclusions: there are sociodemographic characteristics related to the quality of nursing care such as the variables level of education and days of hospitalization and the large number of patients perceived a very good quality of nursing care.
