    The study “Compliance in the application of the safe surgery checklist by the staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza national hospital”, developed in Lima, Objective. It will determine compliance in the application of the safe surgery checklist by the staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital. Materials and methods. This work has a quantitative nature approach, with respect to the design it is descriptive and cross-sectional. The population will consist of the number of operations carried out in a month and no statistical sampling method will be applied since we will work intentionally and conveniently with a significant sample of 30% of the population which will be 58 study units guaranteeing reliability. and veracity of the results. The observational technique will be used and the instrument will be a structured observation guide with indicators in accordance with the principles of the safe surgery checklist, which will have 25 items that cover questions on all the topics included in the list, focused on the 3 corresponding dimensions. to the phases of the safe surgery checklist such as surgical entry, pause and exit, thus determining compliance with the parameters that each member of the surgical center staff must carry out, it will be carried out according to the operating time of each surgical intervention, whether scheduled or scheduled. emergency. To measure the variable, a dichotomous score will be used: complies/does not comply.

    Compliance with the safe surgery checklist in the surgical center service at a clinic in Lima

    Objective: Determine compliance with the safe surgery checklist in the surgical center service in a Clinic in Lima. Materials and methods: The design of a non-experimental, descriptive and retrospective cross-sectional study, which abbreviates the results of various investigations, the population is made up of 254 clinical records that contain the Checklist of the surgical center service found within the System. His, of which 151 clinical records were selected that represent the sample RESULTS: the 10 articles found are Systematic Reviews with 91.05% in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador (4/10), 11% in Quito Mexico (5/10), 77% in the country of Mexico (6/10), in Guayaquil Ecuador 16.64% (7/10), 89% in the country of Spain (8/10), in the city of Lima Peru 68% (9/10), and in Huancayo Peru 0.7%. Descriptive Study Therefore, compliance with the safe surgery checklist is evident. Conclusions: There is favorable evidence regarding compliance with the safe surgery checklist in the Lima clinic.

The type of research is descriptive, cross-sectional, with a quantitative, observational approach. ; in which a total of 20 nursing graduates from the surgery service participated; The instrument that will be used as an instrument will be the safe surgery checklist, for data collection using the SPSS statistical program, after preparing the code table and data matrix table.     Conocimiento de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura y la práctica del personal de enfermería del centro quirúrgico de un Hospital Nacional, Lima - 2024

    El objetivo del estudio es determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura y su relación en la práctica por el personal de enfermería del centro quirúrgico. En cuanto a la metodología, la investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal, de alcance descriptivo-correlacional. La población estará compuesta por 52 enfermeras que laboran en el centro quirúrgico de un hospital nacional, y con una muestra censal por conveniencia. La técnica para usar será la encuesta, con la aplicación de un cuestionario para medir la variable conocimiento de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura y una guía de observación para evaluar la variable práctica de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura en el personal de enfermería. Los datos recolectados serán tabulados y graficados en Excel. Se realizarán pruebas estadísticas, como la prueba de Correlación de Spearman (Rho), para constatar las hipótesis de estudio, a los datos recolectados por medio del software estadístico SPSS versión 26.0.

    La seguridad del paciente durante la cirugía es un reto para la salud pública, por lo que se creó una Lista de Verificación para Cirugía Segura para prevenir errores y proteger a los pacientes. El Enfermero es responsable de aplicar correctamente la lista de verificación, contribuyendo así a promover procedimientos más seguros., por ello el objetivo es “Determinar la relación del conocimiento con el cumplimiento de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura de la Licenciada en Enfermería en Centro Quirúrgico de un Hospital Público de Lima, 2025. La metodología de esta investigación se desarrollará utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo y correlacional, asegurando el rigor científico con instrumentos validados y confiables. Dado que la población es pequeña, compuesta por 59 individuos, se estudiará toda la población sin muestreo. Para la variable relacionada con el conocimiento sobre la Lista de Verificación, se utilizó un cuestionario, desarrollado por Espinoza y utilizado por Carreño en Perú en 2023. Este instrumento fue evaluado por tres jueces expertos que lo encontraron aplicable. Se realizó una prueba piloto con 20 personas, arrojando un valor de KR-20 de 0,89, lo que demuestra que es confiable. Para la variable de cumplimiento, se utilizó otro cuestionario, desarrollado por Meza y también utilizado por Carreño en Perú en 2023. Este instrumento también fue evaluado por tres jueces expertos que lo encontraron aplicable. Se realizó una prueba piloto con 20 personas, arrojando un valor de Alfa de Cronbach de 0,870, lo que indica que es confiable.

    La presente investigación tiene como objetivo: Establecer la relación del conocimiento sobre la lista de verificación de Cirugía segura con la aplicación por el personal de enfermería de Centro Quirúrgico, en una Clínica Privada de Lima 2024. Método: se trabajará con método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación aplicada, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y correlacional. Población: estará constituida por 40 personal de enfermería del centro quirúrgico. La técnica que se usara es la encuesta y la observación, como instrumento el cuestionario, instrumentos validados y confiables. En esta investigación se organizará la información en el Excel y se trabajará con el SPSS con los cuales se realizarán mediante tablas y gráficos estadísticos. Finalmente, se analizará el grado de relación entre ambas variables mediante el coeficiente de Spearman.

    Objetivos: Analizar niveles de conocimientos sobre listas en verificación de cirugías seguras se relacionan con las prácticas del profesional enfermero de centro quirúrgico en Hospital Nacional. Material y método: investigación con métodos hipotéticos deductivos, cuantitativos, aplicada, correlacional, no experimental. La población es de 80 licenciados en enfermería que trabajan y se desempeñan en sala de operaciones de un hospital nacional de Lima, se trata de una muestra censal a causa de la escasez de la población; se consideraría el criterio de inclusión y exclusión que va a reducir los sesgos de la información; se utilizara como metodología de recopilación de datos las encuestas y observaciones; el dispositivo que se aplican son cuestionario de selecciones simple para variable conocimientos y practicas una listas de cotejo; estos instrumentos cuentan con validez y confiabilidad; después de aplicado el instrumento se procesaran las informaciones aplicando análisis descriptivo e inferencial, utilizando pruebas de correlaciones de Spearman; durante la investigación se mantendrá una conducta ética.

    Objetivo: Este trabajo académico se propone determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y la aplicación de la lista de verificación segura en enfermeros de un hospital. Metodología: Se empleará el método hipotético deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, no experimental, correlacional y transversal. 80 enfermeros del área de cirugía de un hospital de Lima formarán parte de la muestra, a quienes se aplicarán dos instrumentos: el primero será el Cuestionario de conocimientos de la Lista de Verificación (10 ítems) que consta de las dimensiones: “conocimientos básicos” y “seguridad del paciente”; y el segundo es la “Guía de Observación sobre Aplicación de la Lista de Verificación” (19 ítems) y responde a las dimensiones: “entrada”, “pausa”, “pausa quirúrgica” y “salida de quirófano”.

    Conocimientos y prácticas sobre verificación de cirugía segura en profesionales de Enfermería de un centro quirúrgico de un Hospital de Lima- 2025

    Esta presente investigación busca determinar la relación existente en torno al grado de compresión respecto a la Lista de Verificación de Cirugías Seguras y la práctica enfermera en la unidad quirúrgica de un centro de salud perteneciente al MINSA, en Lima - 2025. El enfoque metodológico será cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, de tipo transeccional y nivel relacional. La muestra seleccionada consta de 100 integrantes del cuerpo de enfermería que se desempeñan en la unidad quirúrgica de dicha institución. La encuesta será la técnica de recolección de datos, mediante un cuestionario orientado a evaluar la variable “conocimiento”, complementada con una guía de observación que valorará la variable “práctica”. Los datos obtenidos serán sistematizados en tablas, utilizando Excel como soporte inicial. Posteriormente, se aplicarán análisis estadísticos, entre ellos la prueba de correlación de Spearman (Rho), con finalidad de contrastar las hipótesis planteadas, empleando para ello el Sistema SPSS versión 26 para análisis de datos.

Materials and methods: This study has a quantitative approach, based on the degree of compliance with the checklist, according to the characteristics of the population, and the objective is descriptive observational. The data will be collected over a cross-sectional period, and the researcher’s participation will be observational. We will work with a total of 50 professionals in the surgical center. The data collected will be entered into a data matrix created in the SPSS version 22 program. After analysis, it will be represented in tables and finally interpreted in the discussion of this study.

    Effectiveness of a checklist in ensuring the success of safe surgery in surgical patients

    Objective: Analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the checklist in the success of safe surgery in surgical patients. Materials and methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. 12 articles were located which were analyzed according to the Grade system to determine the strength and quality of evidence. Results: 100% of the population is made up of 12 articles, of which 11 articles are foreign (91.6%) and 1 national (8.3%). 100% of the articles analyzed systematically show that the checklist is effective in the success of safe surgery in surgical patients. Conclusions: the 12 articles systematically analyzed show the effectiveness of the checklist in the success of safe surgeries.

    Efficacy of using the checklist to reduce adverse events in patients undergoing surgery

    Objective: determine the effectiveness of the checklist to reduce adverse events in patients undergoing surgery. Methodology: systematic observational and retrospective review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles underwent critical reading using the grade system evaluation to identify recommendation and quality of evidence. In the final selection, 12 articles were chosen. Results: we found that 41.6% (05) are from Spain, 33.33% (04) are from Mexico, while 8.3% (01) are from Peru, Brazil, Colombia and Cuba respectively. 80% are transversal design. Where of the total number of articles analyzed, 100% (12/12) affirm that the use of the checklist is effective in reducing adverse events in patients undergoing surgery. Conclusions: the evidence that 100% of the articles propose that the checklist is effective in reducing adverse events in patients undergoing surgery.

    Impact of using the surgical checklist on reducing perioperative morbidity and mortality

    Materials and Methods: The study type is qualitative, with a systematic review design. The population consisted of 70 articles, and the sample was 10 scientific articles. They originated from Australia (10%), Switzerland (10%), Germany (10%), the Netherlands (10%), the United States (40%), Iran (10%), and Chile (10%). The instrument was obtained from the following databases: PubMed, Wolters Kluwer, Wiley One Library. The GRADE system was used for article evaluation. The studies included 40% (4/10) qualitative studies and 60% (6/10) quantitative studies. Results: According to the level of evidence based on the methodological design, 40% of studies showed high evidence, and 60% showed moderate evidence. Of these, 40% (4/10) were systematic reviews, 40% (4/10) were cohort studies, and 20% (2/10) were case-control studies. Conclusion: After the systematic review, 90% (9/10) of the articles show the impact of the surgical checklist on reducing perioperative morbidity and mortality, while 10% (1/10) were inconclusive regarding the topic.

    Knowledge about immunizations and compliance with vaccines in children from 1 to under 5 years of age at the Mirones Alto Health Center, Lima 2019

    Objective: Determine the level of knowledge about immunizations and compliance with vaccines in children from 1 to under 5 years of age at the Mirones Alto Health Center, Lima 2019. The material and study method that was used to carry out this research was the quantitative approach, with a descriptive level of non-experimental cross-sectional design type. The sample was made up of 100 mothers of children from 1 to under 5 years old, who went to the immunization area of ​​the Mirones Alto Health Center, Lima 2019. The survey technique was applied and the instrument was a questionnaire made up of 19 questions; in addition to a checklist to validate compliance with vaccination. For the respective analysis, the descriptive statistical test of frequencies was used. Having as results that the mothers present a medium level of knowledge with 51% and a high level of knowledge with 49%, in terms of compliance with vaccination, 59% do not comply, while 41% comply according to the vaccination schedule. Reaching the conclusion that there is a relationship between the independent variable knowledge and the dependent variable compliance.

Due to this problem, the WHO has developed the implementation of the safe surgery checklist, which is a checklist that allows identifying whether the origin of the adverse events lies in the human factor or On the contrary, it is due to technical failures in this way to avoid or minimize an adverse event to guarantee the health and well-being of patients. Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and application of the safe surgery checklist in nurses at the Surgical Center of a Private Clinic 2020.     This research sets out to determine the relationship between knowledge of the surgical safety checklist and professional nursing practice in the surgical area. The methodology to be used is hypothetical-deductive with a non-experimental and correlational design, a quantitative approach, and a cross-sectional applied type. The sample will consist of a population of professional nurses, and the entire population will be considered as a census sample, totaling 82 instrument nurses I and II working in the surgical center. The sampling is non-probabilistic. The questionnaire will be used as an instrument to measure variable 1. This questionnaire was validated in Bermudez 2022 research and consists of 10 items that correspond to the following dimensions: Entry, Pause, and Exit. Additionally, the Observational Guide instrument validated in Fuentes's 2018 study consists of 19 items and aligns with the following dimensions: Entry phase, pause phase, and exit phase. By using the statistical method through the SPSS 26 software to obtain the results, tables and graphs will be employed to analyze and interpret the collected data. Spearman's Rho statistical test will also be applied to confirm the hypothesis, taking into account only those with a high level of confidence and a minimal margin of error.

    Objective: To identify the relationship between the knowledge and application of the safe surgery checklist by nursing professionals in the surgical center of a National Hospital, 2024. Population: The target population of this study will consist of a total of 90 nurses working in the surgical center of the mentioned hospital.Sample: The study sample will be census-based, as all nurses who are part of the target population will be included, resulting in a total of 90 nurses. Methodological Design: The methodological approach is based on the hypothetical-deductive method. A quantitative approach will be applied, and the type of research will be applied. The adopted design will be experimental, with a correlational scope and a cross-sectional structure for data collection at a specific moment. Instruments: To evaluate the variable "nursing knowledge," a questionnaire by Moreta (2015) will be used, which has demonstrated reliability with a KR-20 coefficient of -0.081. Additionally, to measure the variable "application of the safe surgery checklist," a questionnaire developed by Br. Diora Ruth Meza Pretell will be used, with reliability indicated by a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.870, showing a high degree of consistency.
