    Apgar test and psychomotor development of the child from 12 to 30 months of age who attends the José Hernán Soto Hospital Cadenillas de Chota, 2022

    Introduction. The first years of life are crucial, which is why research currently affirms that problems in adulthood originate in the first stages of life. The Apgar test measures the adaptation and vitality of the newborn after birth. Objective: Determine the relationship between the Apgar test scores at the first and fifth minute of life and the psychomotor development of the child from 12 to 30 months of age who attends the José Hernán Soto Hospital Cadenillas de Chota 2022. Materials and methods: Research with quantitative approach, non-experimental or observational design, transversal -retrospective. The population will be made up of 111 children between 12 and 30 months old attended in the 2022 growth and development clinic. The sample will be probabilistic and will be made up of 86 children. The STATS TM 2.0 program will be used to determine the sample. The technique to be used is documentary analysis for the Apgar Test and the Peruvian Child Development Assessment Test for psychomotor development, subsequently a base will be developed with the SPSS-V25 statistical program, the data analysis will be carried out using descriptive statistics, allowing an inferential analysis to be carried out that establishes the relationship of the variables; To contrast the statements, Perason's chi-square will be used.

    Effective interventions for cognitive, behavioral, and motor development in school-age children with Down syndrome

    Effective interventions for cognitive, behavioral and motor development in school-age children with Down syndrome, Quantitative type, design of a systematic review. The population 102 articles, the sample 10 scientific articles, had the following databases as instruments: PubMed, Wolters Kluwer, Ovid insights, was analyzed using the GRADE system. Results: The study indicates that 20% (n= 2/10) were systematic reviews, 10% (n= 1/10) meta-analysis, 30% (n= 3/10) experimental, 20% (n= 2/10) pre-experimental and 20% (n= 2/10) control case. In the quality of the evidence, 80% high and 20% moderate, in the strength of recommendation, strong 80% and weak 20%. According to the country of origin, they correspond to the United States 50%, the United Kingdom 20%, Norway 10%, New Zealand 10% and Spain 10% respectively. According to the review of the articles, 8 of 10 coincide with effective interventions for cognitive, behavioral and motor development in school-age children with Down syndrome. While 2 of 10 articles disagree with effective interventions for cognitive, behavioral and motor development in school-age children with Down syndrome. Conclusion: It was concluded that 80% of the interventions are effective for cognitive, behavioral and motor development in school-aged children with Down syndrome and 20% are not effective with effective interventions for cognitive, behavioral and motor development in school-aged children with Down syndrome.

    Effectiveness of a nutritional intervention program for pregnant women to improve early childhood development in children under three years of age

    The countries that served as sources for the results of this study were: Spain (40%), Cuba (20%), Chile (20%), Peru (10%) and Argentina (10%). Results: 6 (60%) of the evidence found indicates that a nutritional intervention program for the pregnant woman guarantees adequate development of the child and thus ensures appropriate child development. Conclusion: A nutritional intervention program for pregnant women is effective in improving early childhood development in children under three years of age.

    Effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children aged 0 to 6 years

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children from 0 to 6 years old. Material and Method: Of the 10 scientific articles investigated on the effectiveness of an intervention program to improve psychomotor development, they were found in the Cochrane, Medline, SciencieDirect, Scielo, Lilacs and Dialnet databases. All were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the 10 scientific articles investigated, 100% correspond to the methodological design, of which 100% (10/10) evidence the effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children 0 to 6 years old. Conclusions: Of the total number of scientific articles reviewed, 100% (10/10) evidence the effectiveness of a psychomotor intervention program to improve psychomotor development in children from 0 to 6 years old.

    Effectiveness of an early stimulation program for the motor development of children under 5 years old

    Objective: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of an early stimulation program for the motor development of children under 5 years old. Materials and Methods: A systematic, observational, and retrospective review that synthesizes the results of multiple primary studies. These are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions. The search was limited to full-text articles, and the selected articles underwent critical reading, using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendations. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles on the effectiveness of an early stimulation program for the motor development of children under 5 years old were chosen. These were found in the databases SciELO, MEDLINE, PubMed, Cochrane, EBSCO, and LILACS. The selection included 1 systematic review and meta-analysis, 2 randomized clinical trials, 4 experimental studies, 1 quasi-experimental study, 1 cohort study, and 1 cross-sectional study. 20% of the evidence comes from Serbia, with 10% from Australia, Mexico, Peru, Norway, China, Ecuador, Germany, and Brazil, respectively. Conclusions: 8 of the 10 articles analyzed show that early stimulation is effective for the motor development of children under 5 years old. 20% (2/10) report that no positive effect was found from the early stimulation program.

    Effectiveness of combined early stimulation and nutritional supplementation in improving growth and development in children under 5 years old

    Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review that synthesizes the results of multiple primary research studies. The search was limited to full-text articles, and the selected articles underwent a critical reading, using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendation. In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, originating from England (1/10), China (1/10), Colombia (2/10), Pakistan (2/10), South Africa (1/10), Madagascar (1/10), Philippines (1/10), and Uganda (1/10). The research designs correspond to randomized controlled trials (80%), systematic reviews (10%), and cross-sectional analytical studies (10%). Results: Of the 10 articles found, 80% indicate the effectiveness of combined early stimulation and nutritional supplementation in improving the growth and development of children under 5 years of age, while 20% conclude that there is no effectiveness of combined early stimulation and nutritional supplementation in improving the growth and development of children under 5 years of age. Conclusions: 8 out of 10 articles found indicate the effectiveness of combined early stimulation and nutritional supplementation in improving the growth and development of children under 5 years of age, which will contribute to the child’s overall development, while 2 out of 10 found that there is no effectiveness of combined early stimulation and nutritional supplementation in improving the growth and development of children under 5 years of age.

    Effectiveness of music therapy in improving psychomotor development in children under 3 years

    Objective: to systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of music therapy to improve psychomotor development in children under 3 years of age. Material and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative study subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the grade, the search was carried out for the articles where 10 articles were selected, where the degree of evidence found was included. in the following databases: pubmed, Scielo, google academic, dialnet. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 20% (n= 2/10) are systematic reviews, 10% (n= 1/10) are meta-analysis, 30% (n= 3/10) are cohort studies, 20 %(n=2/10) randomized controlled trial study, 10% (n= 1/10) is a descriptive study and 10% (n= 1/10) is a quantitative study. They come from the countries of Peru (30%), followed by Mexico (20%), Spain (10%), USA (10%), Ecuador (10%), (10 %) Chile, and Brazil (10%).Conclusion: It is concluded from the studies analyzed that through music therapy it has a significant result in the psychomotor growth of children, preventing disorders and deficits in children under 3 years of age.

    Effectiveness of strengthening the parent-child attachment bond in the optimal development of children

    Objective: Systematize the evidence that shows the effectiveness of optimal development of children with the development of parental attachment activities. Material and Method: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles identified by degree of evidence according to Grade found on the effectiveness of strengthening the parental attachment bond in the optimal development of children, were found in the databases Lilacs, Scielo, Cochrane Plus, Pubmed, Medline, EBSCO. The articles reviewed are from: United States 20%, Canada 20%, Italy – Canada 10%, South Africa 10%, Australia 10%, United States - England 10%, United States-Portugal 10%, Spain 10%. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 30% correspond to trials, 20% are meta-analysis, 10% are systematic review and meta-analysis, 10% are systematic review, the 20% correlational study, 10% are cross-sectional correlational quantitative study. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 100% show the development of positive attachment activities of parents that promote the optimal development of boys and girls. Conclusion: It is concluded that the development of positive attachment activities of parents promotes optimal development of children.

    Effectiveness of the kangaroo mother method in benefiting the development of premature newborns

    Objective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of the kangaroo mother program to benefit the development of premature newborns. Materials and Methods: Systematic review retrospectively using observation, which summarizes the results of several first-hand investigations. It is a fundamental part of evidence-based nursing due to its exhaustive methodology, to identify relevant studies to answer typical questions of clinical work. The search has been parameterized to complete articles, and those that were chosen were subjected to critical reading, using the system grade with an acceptable strength of recommendation as a goal. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 50% (05) correspond to Colombia, with 10% (01) we find Cuba, while with 30% (03) we find Spain and 10% (01) ) to Catalonia. Most of the descriptive systematic review studies have been investigated, with 40%, mainly in the countries of Colombia and Spain. Among cohort studies we find the countries of Colombia, Spain and Cuba, with 30%. Furthermore, with 20% we have cross-sectional descriptive analytical studies belonging to Spain and with 10% pre-experimental studies. Where of the total number of articles analyzed, 80% affirm that the techniques applied to the Kangaroo Mother Method are effective for the benefit and development of Preterm Newborns. Conclusions: It was evidenced in the reviewed research that exists on the effectiveness of the kangaroo mother method to benefit the development of premature newborns. Effectiveness was shown in terms of improving breathing, thermoregulation, breastfeeding and neonatal sepsis.

    Effectiveness of zinc administration in linear growth in children under 5 years old.

    Objective: To systematize the effectiveness of zinc administration on linear growth in children under 5 years of age. Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review. A total of 10 articles were selected, with 30% corresponding to Brazil, 30% to multiple countries (Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Ecuador, and Guatemala), (Brazil, Germany, Russia, and the USA), (South Africa and Latin America), 10% found in Sweden, 10% in Indonesia, 10% in Pakistan, and 10% in South Africa. Results: In children with low birth weight, zinc administration has a positive effect. The administration of zinc in children under 5 years of age benefits their linear growth. Zinc can be administered in the following ways: as a fortifier, in combination with micronutrients, which has good synergy, or alone if necessary. In all cases, it benefits children with low height, and zinc should be administered in specific demographic areas to avoid growth delay. Conclusions: According to the systematic reviews, the effects of zinc administration in children under 5 years of age have a positive impact on their linear growth.

    Effects of an early stimulation program on motor and cognitive development in children under 5 years old

    Objective: To systematize the evidence on the effects of an early stimulation program on motor and cognitive development in children under 5 years of age. Material and Methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of research. They are an essential part of Evidence-Based Nursing because of the methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions about clinical practice. The following databases were used: Journal, Scielo, Cochrane Plus, Enfer Index, Medplus, Pub Med. Results: 10 articles were selected and we found that 40% were from Peru, 10% from Iran, 10% from Colombia, 10% from Canada, 10% from Brazil, 10% from Norway, and 10% from China. The reviewed studies are based on systematic reviews with 10%, RCTs with 40%, quasi-experimental studies with 20% and experimental studies with 30%. Conclusions: Health entities should protocolize the guidelines for early stimulation care in children, to create strategies with positive evidence in the adequate use of early stimulation techniques by health personnel in the care of healthy children and to identify those who are at risk of psychomotor development.

    Efficacy of early stimulation to promote neurodevelopment in the premature newborn.

    Objective: To systematize the evidence found on the effectiveness of early stimulation in promoting neurodevelopment in preterm newborns. Materials and methods: This work was developed within the framework of a systematic review, a design based on the GRADE evaluation system, which allows evaluating the quality of the selected scientific articles from databases such as PubMed, ScientDirect, EBSCO, Elsevier, and Cochrane. Results: The reviewed articles showed that 60% were systematic reviews, 10% were randomized controlled trials, 10% were clinical trials, 10% were systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and 10% were meta-analyses. Additionally, 80% of the articles found evidence supporting the effectiveness of early stimulation to promote neurodevelopment in preterm newborns, while 20% did not show evidence. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 8/10 found that early stimulation through therapeutic massage, aquatic exercises, and passive physical activities is effective in promoting neurodevelopment in preterm newborns, improving factors such as motor, cognitive, behavioral, neuromuscular, and functional development, especially within the first three months of intervention. In 2/10, no effectiveness was found.

Muestra que incluirá a 80 Niños que no han Recibido los Controles Correspondientes Para su Edad. Para la Recolección de Datos se Emplearán Cuestionarios Diseñados Específicamente, y se utilizará la Rrueba de Rho de Spearman Para el Análisis Estadístico, Utilizando los Programas SPSS.

    Knowledge level about early stimulation in first-time mothers of children under one year old at the CAP II Lurin Essalud – 2020

    The objective of this research study is to determine the level of knowledge about early stimulation in first-time mothers of minor children of one year who go to the growth and development area of ​​CAP II Lurín ESSALUD – 2020. Descriptive and cross-sectional method research. The population was made up of 30 first-time mothers who came together with their children to the CRED Office. The instrument is sloped, through a questionnaire developed especially for this work and is divided into four parts, depending on the age periods of life of children from 0 to 3 months (11 item), children from 4 to 6 months (11 item), children from 7 to 9 months (9 item) and children from 10 to 11 months (10 item) and each of these parts have been organized according to the 4 dimensions proposed for this research: motor area, language area, coordination area and social area. The rating considers 1 to 5 points of according to the selected answer.

    Level of knowledge of nurses about care focused on the development of the premature hospitalized in the intensive neonatal care unit of an Institute in Lima 2020

    The research project is quantitative, descriptive, it was carried out during the months of June - November 2020, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of an Institute in Lima, with the purpose of determining the level of knowledge of nurses about care focused on the development of the premature infant hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The sample universe would be made up of 55 nurses, who meet the inclusion criteria. Data collection will be obtained by applying an instrument: a questionnaire to measure the knowledge of nurses on care focused on the development of premature infants, which will be categorized into a high, medium and low level of knowledge according to the score. The data obtained will be systematized and automatically processed in a system, using a statistical analysis through the Chi square test of independence (x2).

    Level of satisfaction with nursing care and adherence to well-child check-ups in children under five years old at the Mariscal Castilla Health Center

    Objective: Establish the relationship that exists between the level of satisfaction with nursing care and compliance with the well-child control in children under five years of age at the Mariscal Castilla health center. Material and method: This study has a quantitative approach, correlational design and cross-sectional design. The sample was 148 mothers. The instruments were: the Baker questionnaire to measure the level of satisfaction and the card, as well as the clinical history to evaluate compliance with the well-child checkup. Results: 148 mothers participated, mostly of age between 25 and 35 years 69.6%, secondary education level 68.9% and marital status 73.6%. Regarding satisfaction with nursing care, the highest percentage was at a medium level 86.5% and compliance with the well-child checkup was partial 86.5%. The chi square statistical test had a p-value of 0.199, indicating that there was no relationship between both variables. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of satisfaction with nursing care and compliance with the well-child checkup in children under five years of age at the Mariscal Castilla health center, but there is a high percentage of non-compliance with the well-child checkup.

    Parental parenting styles in children under 5 years of age who attend the growth and development clinic of the Chorrillos military polyclinic, 2020

    The study of parenting is essential to understand the process of socialization and child development, focusing on the bond between the child and the guardian. This research is related to determining common parenting styles in military families. Therefore, it is vitally important to determine whether future parenting methods are really related to the inappropriate behavior of adolescents, it is important that parents identify and understand their parenting methods established in the family and thus avoid social problems, emotional, mental and cognitive development problems in children. The results obtained will directly benefit nursing graduates of the second specialty, the nursing staff who work at the Chorrillos military polyclinic and the multidisciplinary health team (psychologist, social worker, family doctor, etc.). They will work with intervention strategies such as seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. About good parenting styles and importance, attitudes towards parenting and emotional intelligence, as well as improving communication channels in the family and how it will benefit the children of the military family including father, mother, siblings, relatives and main caregivers.

    Psychomotor development and history of anemia in children at the ''César López Silva'' mother and child center, Lima, 2017 - 2018

    The objective of this study was to determine the level of psychomotor development in children with a history of anemia. The population was made up of 52 children from 06 to 24 months of age who attended their healthy child check-ups at the “César López Silva” Maternal and Child Center. ” and who received treatment for anemia, at the time of the evaluation they had normal hemoglobin values ​​for their age. In the studied population it was found that 58% have a delay in their psychomotor development, the dimension that presented the greatest number of children with lower values ​​for their age was social with 62% followed by language with 54% and the male sex was the one that presented the highest percentages of delay in its population with 66%. Children with a history of anemia present a delay in their psychomotor development despite having received timely treatment and having overcome the diagnosis.

    Psychomotor development and nutritional status in children ages 2 To 5 in the health center Peru III Zona, San Martin De Porras, Lima 2018

    Objective: To determine the psychomotor development and nutritional status in children aged 2 to 5 years at the Peru III Zone Health Center, San Martin de Porras, Lima 2018. Materials and Methods: A descriptive quantitative, non-experimental approach was used. The population consisted of 318 children, with a sample of 71 children aged 2 to 5 years. The instruments used were the Child Growth Patterns to measure nutritional status (weight/height) and the Psychomotor Development Test (TEPSI); both instruments were validated by the Ministry of Health. Results: Regarding nutritional status, the following results were obtained: According to the weight-for-age indicator, 76.1% were normal, 22.5% overweight, and 1.4% undernourished; according to the height-for-age indicator, 93% were normal, 4.2% were short stature, and 2.8% were tall; according to the weight-for-height indicator, 63.4% were normal, 21.1% were obese, and 15.5% were overweight. Regarding psychomotor development, of the 100% (71 children), 87.3% showed normal development, followed by 8.5% with delayed development, and 4.2% at risk. According to the sub-test, the greatest delay was found in the motor skills sub-test with 9.9%, followed by coordination with 8.5%, and language with 7%. Conclusion: In the evaluation of psychomotor development and nutritional status of children aged 2 to 5 years at the Peru III Zone Health Center, it was observed that the majority of children showed normal development in both variables, indicating that the nursing strategies or functions are effective.
