    Efecto cicatrizante de la sangre de grado (croton lechleri) post exodoncia en pacientes atendidos en el centro odontológico de la universidad Norbert Wiener, periodo 2024-II

    El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el efecto cicatrizante de la sangre de grado (Croton lechleri) post exodoncia en pacientes del Centro odontológico de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, periodo 2024-II. El estudio es inductivo con un enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada, diseño experimental con alcance cuasiexperimental. Se usó un instrumento fiable como una ficha de control en base a la escala de Vancouver, para registrar los datos generales de cada paciente que fueron evaluados clínicamente así observar el efecto cicatrizante de la sangre de grado en periodos de 3,7 y 21 día evaluando a 50 pacientes a quienes se les separó en dos grupos. Se evidenció que respecto al efecto cicatrizante se observa que el tiempo de cicatrización muestra que el 84.0% de los pacientes atendidos con sangre de grado (Croton Lachleri) presentaron tiempo disminuido de 7 a 9 s ; el nivel de pigmentación en el día 3, 7 y 21 muestra pigmentación rosa (76.0%; 80,0% y 92.0%) respectivamente; el nivel de dolor en el día 3, 7 y 21 no muestra dolor (56.0%; 72,0% y 88.0%) respectivamente y el nivel de inflamación en el día 3 y 7 muestra inflamación leve (64.0% y 72.0%) y en el día 21 sin inflación en el 92.0% en los pacientes atendidos con sangre de grado (Croton Lachleri).Se concluye que existe efecto cicatrizante de la sangre de grado (Croton lechleri) post exodoncia en pacientes atendidos en el Centro odontológico de la UPNW, 2024-II (sig. asintótica = 0. 000 < 0.05).

    Efecto cicatrizante del gel a base del extracto etanólico del fruto de Vallea stipularis L.f “chuillur” en ratas Holtzman

    La presente investigación, titulada: “Efecto reparador del gel a base del extracto etanólico del fruto de Vallea stipularis L.f. 'chuillur' en ratas Holtzman”, tuvo como propósito principal verificar la capacidad reparadora del gel formulado con el extracto etanólico del fruto de Vallea stipularis L.f. “chuillur” en ratas de la línea Holtzman. Metodología: Se empleó un enfoque analítico con perspectiva cuantitativa, clasificándose como una investigación de tipo aplicada con diseño experimental. La muestra incluyó ratas Holtzman y el material vegetal considerado fue el fruto de Vallea stipularis L.f. “chuillur”. A partir del fruto, se preparó un extracto etanólico a 70°, seguido de pruebas de solubilidad y análisis cualitativo preliminar. Luego, se elaboró un gel en concentraciones del 0,5; 5 y 10% para evaluar su efecto reparador mediante una técnica de segunda intención, registrando los datos a través de una ficha estandarizada. Resultados: El extracto presentó solubilidad en agua, etanol y metanol. Entre los metabolitos identificados se encontraron flavonoides, compuestos fenólicos y taninos, así como grupos amino libres, triterpenos y esteroides. El gel producido mostró propiedades organolépticas satisfactorias y una estabilidad física adecuada. La actividad cicatrizante fue más notable en las concentraciones de 5 y 10%, evidenciando una regeneración homogénea con un mayor grosor dérmico a través de la formación de capas celulares. Además, se observaron gránulos de queratohialina junto con una unión dermoepidérmica extensa, formación de tejido conectivo y fibras de colágeno. Conclusión: Se verificó que el gel elaborado a base del extracto etanólico del fruto de Vallea stipularis L.f. "chuillur" al 5 y 10% posee un efecto reparador superior al estándar tópico.

    Effectiveness of advanced wound care versus traditional wound care in wound healing in adult patients

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of advanced care versus traditional care in wound healing in adult patients. Materials and Methods: The Systematic review consists of 10 scientific articles identified in the following databases: Indexf, Scielo, Epistemonikos, Pubmed, Gicos, Ecitydoc, Medigraphic, Inheridas. By the type of design. By type of design: Within the 10 evidence, the research design belongs 30% (3/10) Systematic review, 10% (1/10) Systematic review and meta-analysis, 10% (1/10) controlled study and randomized, 10% (1/10) Open experimental, 10% (1/10) Case and control, 10% (1/10) cohort study, 10% (1/10) prospective randomized analytical study, 10% (1/10) experimental clinical trial. By type of quality: Of the total of 10 pieces of evidence, 60% (6/10) are of high quality, 30% (3/10) of moderate quality, and 10% (1/10) are of low quality. By country of origin: This present study comes from the countries of Mexico (20%), Spain (20%), Brazil (10%), Venezuela (10%), Colombia (10%), Peru (10%) , Chile (10%) and Switzerland (10%). Results: 100% (n = 10/10) of the evidence found indicates that the use of advanced healing is more effective than the use of traditional healing in the healing of wounds in adult patients. Conclusions: This study concluded that the most appropriate therapy for the treatment of wound healing in adult patients and according to the bibliography consulted, expresses greater effectiveness compared to the use of traditional healing where greater complications are evident, in addition to The use of advanced care ensures a better clinical evolution, accelerating the prompt healing of the wound, avoiding the risk of infection, reducing mortality and hospital stay.

    Effectiveness of compression therapy on the healing time of varicose ulcers in patients with venous insufficiency

    Objective: Systematize available evidence on the effectiveness of the use of compression therapy against the healing time of varicose ulcers in patients with venous insufficiency. Material and methods: a systematic review of international scientific articles is carried out, which have been acquired by searching the database: pubmed, lilacs, Cochrane, Elsevier. Cochrane, Those that have been selected and analyzed, located through the evidence hierarchy pyramid. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 60% (n= 6/10) are systematic reviews, 20% (n= 2/10) are meta-analyses, 10% (n= 1/10) are trials. randomized controlled study and 10% (n= 1/10) is a prospective randomized study. Likewise, according to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, they come from the countries of Brazil (20%), Germany (10%), Serbia (10%), United Kingdom (30%), Canada (10% ), Switzerland (10%), Spain (10%). Results: The evidence found through the scientific articles reviewed indicates that 100% (n=10/10) that the use of some type of compression therapy favors the healing of varicose ulcers. Conclusions: It is found that 10 of the 10 evidence analyzed agree that using compression therapy reduces healing time in patients with varicose ulcers.

    Effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma for wound healing in patients with chronic wounds in the hospitalization service

    Objective: Systematize the available evidence on the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for healing in patients with chronic wounds in the Hospitalization Service. Material and Methods: The design used in this research is an observational and retrospective Systematic Review, which was obtained by searching the databases: BVS, PubMed, Elsevier, Cochrane Plus and Scielo, which have been chosen and analyzed using the Grade System, which evaluates the strength of the recommendation and the quality of evidence of the work performed. For this reason, the search for articles was carried out using the DECS and MESH descriptors for the search in Spanish and English respectively. Results: 10 articles were analyzed, 30% (3/10) to a systematic review, 20% (2/10) to a meta-analysis, 30% (3/10) to controlled and randomized studies, 10% (1/ 10) to controlled and non-randomized studies and 10% (1/10) to case-control studies. Of the results achieved, 90% of the studies found indicate that there is effectiveness of PRP for healing in patients with chronic wounds, with 10%, indicating that more trials with high quality of evidence still need to be carried out to verify the effectiveness of the therapy. . Conclusions: PRP is effective for healing in patients with chronic wounds

    Effectiveness of polyhexanide-betadine use to reduce healing time and bacterial load in the cleaning of chronic wounds

    The observational and retrospective systematic reviews: The search was restricted to full-text articles, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using the GRADE evaluation to identify their level of evidence. Results: In the final selection, 11 reviewed articles located in the PubMed and SciELO databases were chosen. These articles demonstrate that the use of polyhexanide-betaine is effective in the cleaning of chronic wounds: it reduces healing time, bacterial load, and pain. Conclusions: The reviewed studies provide evidence of the effectiveness of polyhexanide-betaine, as it provides favorable conditions for cleaning chronic wounds: it reduces inflammatory signs, bacterial load, and pain, accelerating the healing process.

    Effectiveness of polyhexanide/betain in managing the preparation of chronic wound beds

    Objective: To analyze the evidence on the effectiveness of polyhexanide/betaine in the management of chronic wound bed preparation. Materials and Methods: Systematic and Quantitative Review. Thirty articles were found, leaving nine scientific articles from the scientific search system in: Scielo, Pubmed, Google academic, EBSCO, Cochrane Library and Medline. The GRADE method was used to evaluate the articles, which specified the strength of recommendation and quality of evidence for each study. Results: 100% of them affirm that it is effective in the management of wounds, 40% say that it is a good debridement and improves healing time and 60% affirm that it is a good cleaning agent, safe and well tolerated by the patient. patient versus other solutions. Conclusions: Polyhexanide/betaine is effective in the management of chronic wound bed preparation, since it reduces the bacterial load in complex wounds, acts as a good cleaning and debriding agent; In addition, the healing time is shorter due to the humid environment it provides, not to mention its safe use.

    Effectiveness of steri strip versus other sutures in the improvement of cicatrization in surgical incisions

    Objective: To analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of steri strips versus other sutures in improving healing in surgical incisions. Materials and methods: The type of research was quantitative, its study design is a systematic review, with a population of 30 articles, 10 articles were taken as a sample published and indicated in the scientific databases, the instrument was a search in databases: Cochrane Library, Scielo British Medical Journal, PubMed, Lancet, Wiley Online Library, Epistemonikos, for the evaluation of the articles the GRADE system was used which evaluated the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation. Results: The study analyzed ten scientific articles, of which one research found that the Steri Strip is effective in a healing process in 9.1% compared to Dermaond, affirming the effectiveness with the following study where the Steri strip is effective since it favored the recovery process, improved self-care in 7.3% compared to staples in 4%. Conclusions: It was concluded that 100% of the studies show the effectiveness of steri strips versus other sutures in improving healing in surgical incisions, improving the healing process, improved recovery in post-operative patients, reduced the risk of infection, patients presented fewer adverse effects and due to its low cost.

    The effectiveness of the closed suction drainage system to promote the healing process in post-operative traumatic patients

    Objective: To analyze and systematize the effectiveness of the closed suction drainage system in promoting the healing process in post-traumatic surgical patients. Materials and Methods: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, corresponding to 100% (10/10). Of these, 60% (6/10) were quantitative and 40% (4/10) qualitative; and regarding the study design, 40% (4/10) were systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials, respectively, 10% (1/10) were meta-analyses, and 10% (1/10) was a prospective randomized study. Results: According to the evidence obtained from 100% (10/10) of the articles reviewed, the closed suction drainage system to promote the healing process in traumatic surgical patients is not effective, as 60% (6/10) of the articles showed that patients require blood transfusion, and 40% (4/10) showed an association with wound infection. Conclusions: It is concluded that 100% (10/10) of the articles indicate that the closed suction drainage system is not effective in promoting the healing process in traumatic surgical patients, as it is associated with a higher need for blood transfusion, increases the number of patients requiring blood transfusion, and shows no significant differences in the range of motion and preoperative knee swelling. Moreover, no significant differences were found in hospital stay, wound hematoma incidence, wound dehiscence, or deep vein thrombosis.

    Efficacy of calcium alginate dressings in accelerating epithelialization in patients with venous ulcers

    Objective: To analyze the evidence about the effectiveness of calcium alginate dressing to accelerate the epithelialization process in patients with varicose ulcers. Materials and Methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. According to the research design, 40% of the evidence is systematic reviews, 50% is randomized controlled trials and 10% is experimental. Therefore, 100% are high quality. Results: Of the total of 10 articles analyzed, 100% affirm that the calcium alginate dressing is effective in varicose ulcers. These articles were found in the following databases Pubmed, Medline, Cochrane, Google Scholar. Conclusions: That 10 of the 10 reviewed investigations show that the use of calcium alginate is effective for the epithelialization process in patients with varicose ulcers.

    Efficacy of conventional wound care compared to moist wound care in patients with venous ulcers

    The type of study was quantitative; the design was a systematic review; The instrument was Dialnet, Scielo, ElSevier, Pubmed and Medline.; The population was 65 articles and the sample was 10 articles. The selected articles were subjected to critical reading, using the Grade system to assign the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation. In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found from the USA, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Spain. Most of the studies have been randomized controlled trials (40%), longitudinal (10%), prospective (10%), clinical cases (30%) and systematic reviews (10%). It was evident in 100% of the research reviewed that there is effectiveness of healing in a humid environment compared to conventional healing in patients with venous ulcers, they healed in less time, the reduction of complications, and comfortable therapy for the patient, improving their quality of life. life. Useful for nursing professionals as there is better management of direct care times and savings for administration due to reduced hospitalization costs.

    The efficacy of the closed suction drainage system in favoring the healing process in postoperative trauma patients.

    Materials and Methods: A systematic observational and retrospective review was conducted, with a search restricted to full-text articles. The bibliographic search algorithm followed the PICO model. The selected articles were subjected to analysis using the evaluation of validity, quality, strength of recommendation, scientific evidence, usefulness of findings, and ethical aspects of the research. Results: A total of 10 articles were selected, with 50% (5/10) corresponding to China, and 10% (1/10) corresponding to the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and Saudi Arabia, respectively. Additionally, 60% (6/10) of the studies were quantitative and 40% (4/10) were qualitative. The closed suction drainage system for promoting the healing process in trauma patients was not effective as it was associated with a higher need for blood transfusions. Conclusions: The evidence shows that the closed suction drainage system for promoting the healing process in trauma patients was not effective because it was associated with a greater need for blood transfusions. There is a need for dressing reinforcement in wounds without drainage due to ecchymosis.

    Estudio botánico, fitoquímico y farmacológico de la actividad cicatrizante de Morus alba L. (mora o morera blanca)

    La presente investigación comprende el estudio botánico, fitoquímico y farmacológico de la actividad cicatrizante de mora o morera blanca "Morus alba Link". En el estudio botánico se realizó el análisis de las estructuras internas de mora blanca "morus alba" mediante cortes histológicos de raíz, tallo, hojas. En el estudio fitoquímico se utilizó la muestra problema pulverizada para la maceración hidroalcohólica de hojas de mora blanca y mediante una marcha fitoquímica se identificaron los compuestos químicos de mora blanca. En el estudio farmacológico finalmente se determinó que la crema elaborada a base del extracto seco de hojas de mora blanca #Morus alba" presenta actividad cicatrizante en un porcentaje similar de eficacia terapéutica a los demás tratamientos administrativos a los ratones albinos por vía tópica, esta actividad farmacológica se debe posiblemente a la presencia de flavonoides y taninos.
