Publicación Acceso abierto Conocimiento de sildenafilo y factores asociados a su consumo en varones de 20 a 70 años que acuden a la botica Mi Perú, Ventanilla – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-07-21) Porras Llashag, Rosmery Nelly; Rincon Estofanero, Belen Marie; Segura Vílchez, Tito MagnoThe present study aimed to establish the relationship between knowledge of Sildenafil and the factors associated with its consumption among men aged 20 to 70 who visit the Mi Perú pharmacy in Ventanilla – 2022. The study followed a hypothetical-deductive approach, with a quantitative, basic type, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consisted of 300 men. The questionnaire contained 23 questions divided into two parts: the first part addressed factors associated with consumption, comprising three dimensions with 14 questions using a Likert scale; the second part assessed knowledge of Sildenafil with 9 closed-ended questions (YES/NO) regarding adverse effects, dosage, and frequency of administration. The results showed that only 4.1% of users had a high level of knowledge, 47.3% had a medium level, and 48.5% had a low level of knowledge. Additionally, in the self-medication factor dimension, 33.1% of users reported that they are sometimes influenced by media, the internet, or social networks. It was concluded that the level of knowledge is significantly related to the consumer's occupation (p-value = 0.004). Furthermore, an inverse correlation was observed between knowledge of Sildenafil and the self-medication factor, meaning that an increase in the frequency of self-medication is associated with a decrease in knowledge (Rho = -0.978).Publicación Acceso abierto Consumo y efectos adversos del Sildenafilo en varones de 18 a 70 años, usuarios de la botica Hampifarma, Los Olivos, Lima, 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2026-02-23) Gamboa Palomino, Juana Kiara; Zárate Tácunan, Giuliana Rocío; Ramírez Heredia, Rosa CandelariaEn América Latina, el consumo de sildenafilo ha aumentado por cambios culturales respecto a la disfunción eréctil. Publicación Acceso abierto Equivalencia farmacéutica de medicamentos multifuentes de sildenafilo de 50 mg que se dispensan en el distrito de San Juan de Miraflores – San Juan zona D en los meses de noviembre y diciembre 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-09-06) Huatuco Amez, Olivia Patrich; Guillén Sulca, Walter Roberto; Cárdenas Orihuela, Robert ArmandoWhen performing the pharmaceutical equivalence of 50 mg sildenafil multi-source medicines dispensed in the district of San Juan de Miraflores during the months of November and December 2017, the objective was to evaluate in vitro the multi-source sildenafil medicines. This drug was chosen because, in recent years in Lima—particularly in the district of San Juan de Miraflores, according to pharmaceutical staff reports—it has been sold with great freedom, and since it is dispensed under different brands, it was necessary to determine whether equivalence existed in relation to the innovator. The methodology used included the corresponding parameters established by the United States Pharmacopeia for solid pharmaceutical forms, evaluating the external aspects and the physical parameters of the tablets, such as weight variation, hardness, disintegration, and friability. The results obtained in this study demonstrated that these pharmaceutical forms are similar with respect to these parameters, meeting the official specifications. The values obtained fall within the accepted averages for oral formulations of 50 mg sildenafil.Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados y reacciones adversas por el consumo de Sildenafilo en varones de 18 a 70 Años del distrito de Chaclacayo, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-11) Yañac Soto, Ketty Jovahana; Yañac Soto, Lys Milagros; Collantes Llacza, Adela MarleneThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between associated factors and adverse reactions from sildenafil consumption in men aged 18 to 70 years in Chaclacayo. A quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample included 390 sildenafil users, selected using multi-stage probability sampling. The results indicated that marital status and duration of consumption are related to adverse reactions, with significance in the chi-square test (0.007 and 0.022) and a small correlation strength (Cramer's V). However, no relationship was found in other dimensions such as lifestyle or pre-existing conditions, so the null hypothesis was accepted in those cases.Publicación Acceso abierto Factores de riesgo y la automedicación con sildenafilo en usuarios que acuden al establecimiento farmacéutico Labomart del distrito de San Juan de Miraflores – Lima Metropolitana, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-04) Ramírez Tolentino, Rodrigo Donato; Alata Guardia, Ruben Johnny; Collantes Llacza, Adela MarleneThe objective of this study is to determine the relationship between risk factors and self-medication with sildenafil among users who attend the Labomart pharmaceutical establishment in the jurisdiction of San Juan de Miraflores, Metropolitan Lima, 2022.
