Estudio comparativo de la discrepancia transversal de los maxilares con los métodos U Penn y Yonsei, evaluada en tomografías computarizadas Cone Beam, Lima 2023
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-09-12) Lau Farfan, Yuc Lang Karla; Pastor Arenas, Sandra Teresa

The lowest wealth quintile had a frequency of 31.1% (p=0.002) of ARIs, and 55.2% of children with mothers who had a secondary education experienced ARIs (p<0.001). Conclusions: Lower wealth quintile and female sex are risk factors for ARIs, while being between 1 to 5 years old and having a mother with secondary education serve as protective factors.

physical activity and quality of life of older adults at the CERFINEURO Physical and Neurological Rehabilitation Center, 2022.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-07-07) Ocumbe Lanzi, Karen Marita; Arrieta Córdova, Andy Freud
Aging deteriorates quality of life as physical activity decreases. If older adults do not receive the necessary support to continue with their activities, their health deteriorates, and life expectancy decreases. Physical activity depends on each person’s function, age, and health condition, as it is performed regularly, structured, and frequently to improve strength, flexibility, speed, and endurance.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-19) Alva Pereda, Teresa Violeta; Melgarejo Valverde, Jose Antonio
Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of physical activity and the quality of life of students from the José Antonio Encinas Cultural Educational Network, 2022. Materials and Methods: The research approach was quantitative, with a population consisting of male and female students between the ages of 25 and 50. The sample included 80 students of both genders from the José Antonio Encinas Cultural Educational Network. The sampling method was probabilistic, using simple random sampling according to the selection criteria. Results: The majority belong to the 20 to 29 age group, representing 67.9% of the total. Regarding sex distribution, the sample was predominantly female, comprising 71.56%. Most of the group (44.95%) engage in a moderate level of physical activity. 31.19% engage in a high level of physical activity, and 23.85% engage in a low level of physical activity. The majority report an average quality of life regarding the environment, with 33.94%. 26.61% report a low level, 21.10% report a high level, 13.76% report a very high level, and 4.59% report a very low level in the environment dimension. Conclusions: The average age was 25.42 years, with a standard deviation of ± 5.9 years, and an age range from 17 to 49 years. The age distribution shows that the majority belong to the 20 to 29 age group, and the sample is predominantly female. We can affirm that the variables physical activity and quality of life are related to each other, as well as the relationship between physical activity and the physical health dimension of quality of life.
