Burnout syndrome and its relationship with job satisfaction in health personnel at the Manuel Barreto Maternal and Child Center, Lima 2022

Objective: Analyze the relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in health personnel at the Manuel Barreto Maternal and Child Center, Lima 2022. Materials and methods: quantitative approach, descriptive and cross-sectional methodological design. The technique used was the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire to measure burnout syndrome, and the Font Roja survey to measure job satisfaction. The total study population was made up of 60 health professionals. Results: burnout syndrome is related in 71% to job satisfaction, average burnout syndrome is present in 53% with job satisfaction: dissatisfied. Burnout syndrome in its emotional exhaustion dimension is related in 58% to job satisfaction in which high burnout syndrome is present in 56% with dissatisfied job satisfaction. Burnout syndrome in its depersonalization dimension is related in 69% to job satisfaction in which 54% present average burnout syndrome with dissatisfied job satisfaction. Burnout syndrome in its personal fulfillment dimension is related in 77% to job satisfaction in which 50% present average burnout syndrome with dissatisfied job satisfaction. To determine the relationship between the study variables, Spearman's correlation analysis was carried out, obtaining that there is a statistically significant relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in health personnel.

Objective: to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job performance in the nursing staff of the 5th hospitalization service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases in Lima, 2022. Material and method: it will be correlational, quantitative, observational, cross-sectional and descriptive, the population that constitutes it makes a total of 50 nurses, and the sample will be made up of the same number. The survey technique was used and the instrument uses the Likert scale, which describes the presentation, instructions, sociodemographic characteristics and the questionnaire called Nursing Stress Scale (NSS) and job performance evaluation questionnaire, its content validity was made and submitted to expert judgment, reliability was found by applying Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient obtaining a value of 0.800 and 0.932 respectively. Data processing will be at the Norbert Wiener Private University, to obtain the required permits and to be able to present them to the ethics committee and then to the research area.

Burnout Syndrome and Job Satisfaction of Nurses in the emergency service of the Ricardo Palma Clinic, Lima - 2021

Objective: determine how burnout syndrome is associated with the job satisfaction of nurses in the emergency service of the Ricardo Palma Clinic, Lima - 2021. Methodology: the research is applied, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional relational. The census sample was 30 nurses. The technique was the survey applying the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire to measure Burnout Syndrome and the Font Roja questionnaire to measure job satisfaction. To determine if there is an association between the variables, the non-parametric test of the Rho Spearman correlation coefficient was used. Results: 97% of the nurses who worked at the Ricardo Palma Clinic, Lima 2021 presented a medium level of burnout syndrome. Conclusions: There is no statistically significant relationship between Burnout Syndrome and job satisfaction in nurses who work at the Ricardo Palma Clinic, Lima – 2021 (p=0.134; p=0.138). Nor were significant correlations found between the dimensions of emotional exhaustion, personal fulfillment and depersonalization.

Burnout syndrome and professional skills in the nursing staff of the growth and development service of the San Juan de Lurigancho hospital, Lima 2021

Objective: To establish the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and professional competencies in the nursing staff of the Growth and Development Service at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima 2021. Methodology: The study will be quantitative, applied, and non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational in design. For this research, the entire population will be considered, consisting of 40 nurses from the Growth and Development Service at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: A questionnaire to measure work stress (Maslach, 1981) and a questionnaire to measure professional competence (2018) will be used. The reliability of the Burnout Syndrome instrument is highly reliable, with a score of 0.894. The professional competencies instrument also demonstrates high reliability, with a score of 0.929. Procedures: The research will process the data through quantitative data analysis, with frequencies and percentages for the variables and dimensions. A hypothesis test will also be performed using the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test to measure the degree or strength of the relationship between the variables. Statistical Analysis: The study will process the data by identifying quantitative data, frequencies, and percentages for the variables and dimensions. The hypothesis will be tested using the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test.

Burnout syndrome and work performance in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit of the Octavio Mongrut Hospital, Lima - 2023

Introduction: The physical environment where the nurses of the intensive care unit (ICU) work is a cold environment that is quite noisy due to the sound of the alarms of the cardiac monitors and mechanical ventilators, a place with a lot of technology which makes the staff have obvious symptoms of stress that in some cases become burnout syndrome, impairing the performance of their work. Objective: To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and work performance in the nursing staff of the intensive care area of the Octavio Mongrut Hospital, 2023. Methods: hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, if the design will be non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational, being the population of 72 people from the Intensive and Progressive Care service of the Octavio Mongrut Hospital, whose sample will be the total population. The survey technique and the observational technique will be used, being its instruments to collect the information the questionnaire and to determine the Burnout syndrome and a checklist to assess the processes of work performance. The collected data will be processed with the SPSS statistical package and the hypotheses will be tested and corroborated using the Spearman's Rho statistical test due to the quantitative nature of both study variables.

Introduction: Health professionals are a group especially susceptible to suffering from burnout syndrome given the demanding nature of their profession and the environment, where it ir estimated that there are twelve nurses for every ten thousand inhabitants; This situation leads the nursing professional to redouble its efforts to meet the demand of patients and the expectation of patients and their families. Likewise, the nursing professional must handle a series of knowledge for the performance of the mission that correspondsto him within the health services. Objective: Determine the relationship of Burnout Syndrome with the Work Performance of nurses in the Emergency Unit of a Hospital in Lima - 2024. Method: The study will be observational, descriptive at a cross-sectional relational level. The study will be observational, descriptive at a cross-sectional relational level. The population will be made up of 120 nurses under a contract in any modality of the Hospital in Lima. The sample will be taken during the period February-April 2024 using the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire and the job performance questionnaire, which will collect data to be processed through non- parametric tests to identify the relationship between the variables, in order to prove that Burnout syndrome interferes with the work performance of the nurses at Hospital of Lima.

Causas relacionadas con la fatiga psicológica en cirujanos dentistas especialistas en la universidad Norbert Wiener 2024

El presente estudio buscó determinar las causas relacionadas con la fatiga psicológica en Cirujanos Dentistas especialistas en la Universidad Norbert Wiener 2024. Se elaboró una investigación cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, transversal y prospectivo; se analizaron a 66 Odontólogos especialistas de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, utilizando el Cuestionario de Maslach, también llamado MBI-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS), originalmente usado en el campo de la salud, este instrumento mide mediante 22 preguntas. Se pudo evidenciar que las causas relacionadas con la fatiga psicológica, en mayoría respecto al agotamiento emocional fue bajo en un 83.3% (N°=55), en cuanto a la despersonalización fue bajo en un 87.9% (N°=58) y en cuanto a la realización personal en el trabajo fue alto en un 90.9% (N°=60). Existe significancia estadística (p<0.05) en las causas de fatiga psicológica. Se concluye que Las causas relacionadas con la fatiga psicológica en Cirujanos Dentistas especialistas, en mayoría respecto al agotamiento emocional y despersonalización fue bajo en un 83.3% y 87.9% y alto en la realización personal en el trabajo en un 90.9%, evidenciando significancia estadística (p<0.05); así mismo, se comprobó que existen causas relacionadas con la fatiga psicológica en Cirujanos Dentistas especialistas en la Universidad Norbert Wiener 2024.

Estrés laboral y calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo Lima, 2025

Este estudio tiene como objetivo el de determinar cuál es la relación entre el estrés laboral y calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia del hospital nacional dos de mayo lima, 2025 asimismo, la hipótesis es saber si existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el estrés laboral y calidad del cuidado del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia de un Hospital Nacional Dos De Mayo. El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, método deductivo-hipotético, tipo aplicada y de diseño no experimental con un corte transversal correlacional, en una muestra de 80 enfermeros del servicio de emergencia, se usan las técnicas de encuesta con los instrumento de cuestionario sobre el estrés laboral que costa de 24 ítems y con un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,961 y el cuestionario español de calidad de cuidado que consta de 16 ítems con un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,98. Procedimientos: La recopilación de la información se llevará a cabo durante un lapso de 04 meses. Tras la recolección de la información, se estructurará en los programas como el de Excel para su respectivo control de calidad y organización; después se trasladará al software SPSS versión 25. 0. Análisis Estadístico: Para el análisis descriptivo se elaborarán tablas de frecuencias, métricas de tendencia central y dispersión, así como representaciones gráficas, así mismo se respetara los aspectos éticos de Autonomía, No Maleficencia, justicia y beneficencia de los enfermeros.

Evaluation of emotional depletion, depersonalisation and low personal realisation in students of dentistry at the Private University Norbert Wiener

The present research study is titled: "Evaluation of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and low personal accomplishment in Dentistry students at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener." This study was conducted to determine whether students at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener (UPNW) are affected by stress. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an individual's mental health can be influenced by three basic factors: social, psychological, and biological, whose particular qualities determine a specific lifestyle for each person. The objective of this study was to assess emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and low personal accomplishment in Dentistry students at UPNW. This was an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, and prospective study carried out at UPNW. The study population consisted of students from the Professional Academic School of Dentistry who were in their eighth, ninth, and tenth cycles, totaling 164 students. The last cycles were chosen as they are considered to have a heavier academic load, as eighth and ninth cycle students are in the comprehensive clinical stage, and tenth cycle students face academic challenges outside their institution, competing with students from other universities in various hospitals. This type of competition can often lead to stress. Data collection utilized two instruments: a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire, which is globally used to assess this syndrome. For bio-statistical analysis, the Chi-square test was applied. The results showed that 20.1% of the population exhibited emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and low personal accomplishment, while 79.9% showed none of these symptoms.

Síndrome de Burnout y Bienestar Psicológico en el personal de enfermería del servicio de consulta externa de salud mental de un hospital público, 2025

Objetivo: Establecer la relación existente entre el síndrome de burnout y el bienestar psicológico en el personal de enfermería de consulta externa de salud mental de un hospital público de Lima, 2025. Materiales y métodos: Se aplico un tipo de investigación con enfoque hipotético - deductivo, cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, de correlación y transversal en un total de 50 expertas. Se tomará en cuenta a todas las profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Servicio de Consulta Externa de Salud Mental de un hospital público en Lima. Como la población es limitada, no se utilizará una muestra; se aplicará la escala de bienestar psicológico y de evaluación del agotamiento Maslach (HSS). Finalmente, el estudio de los datos mostrará una estadística descriptiva a través de tablas y frecuencias, además de un análisis inferencial que tomará en cuenta la aplicación del coeficiente de Spearman en la correlación entre las variables.

Síndrome de Burnout y estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en los internos de enfermería de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Lima - 2022

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en los internosde enfermería que realizan su internado en la Universidad Norbert Wiener durante el año 2022. Metodología: La presente investigación es de propósito aplicada de naturaleza práctica de enfoque cuantitativo, con un nivel correlacional, corte transversal, diseño no experimental. La población estudiada comprendió a un total de 382 internos de enfermería y se tomó como muestra a 192 internos de la carrera de enfermería de la mencionada universidad. La recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo a través de la aplicación de encuestas y la observación directa de los participantes. Resultados: En el análisis de datos revelaron una correlación negativa de moderada intensidad y estadísticamente significativa entre las variables estudiadas, demostrada por un coeficiente de Spearman de -0.5117. En cuanto a las tres dimensiones del Síndrome de Burnout, es decir, el agotamiento emocional, la despersonalización y la baja realización personal, se observaron valores de correlación de -0.4465, -0.2188 y -0.3814, respectivamente. Conclusiones: Se determinó una relación moderada y significativa entre el Síndrome de Burnout y las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en los internos de enfermería de la Universidad Norbert Wiener. Estos descubrimientos resaltan la importancia de reforzar y mejorar las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés como medida preventiva para reducir la predisposición al Síndrome de Burnout en los internos de enfermería.
