Ítem Acceso abierto Adolescent pregnancy and its relationship with low knowledge of contraceptive methods(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-10) Palomino Diaz, Leydy Fanny; Marín Guevara, Leticia GloriaThe objective of this research was to determine the scientific evidence from observational studies related to adolescent pregnancies and their relationship with low knowledge of contraceptive methods. This study is a quantitative publication review. Observational studies, descriptive, systematic reviews, quasi-experimental, cross-sectional, ecological, case-control, and retrospective studies were selected, found in the PubMed, REDIB, Lilacs, Dialnet, and Google Scholar databases from 2015 to 2021. A total of 30 scientific articles were considered for this study. According to the findings from the reviewed articles, low knowledge about contraceptive methods is related to adolescent pregnancies, as lacking knowledge about contraceptive methods increases the probability of experiencing a pregnancy by 75%. Furthermore, sexual education is an effective strategy to decrease the adolescent pregnancy rate. Low knowledge of contraceptive methods is related to adolescent pregnancies.Ítem Acceso abierto Family factors that influence adolescent pregnancy and its relationship with sexually transmitted infection HIV AND SYPHILIS(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-08) Corrales Yepez, Angela Ana; García Puicón, Lady YaninaObjective: To evaluate the family factors that influence adolescent pregnancy and their relationship with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV and syphilis. This study is a secondary research, systematic review, analytical, and retrospective. The study population consisted of 30 articles from the internet related to adolescent pregnancy, HIV, and syphilis, which met the inclusion criteria. No instruments were used for this study as it is an analytical secondary review study. The average age of adolescent pregnancy is 15-17 years, with 59.8% not finishing secondary school, 71.76% being single, and 34% not using contraceptive methods. Additionally, 51.48% did not receive proper sexual education. On the other hand, 65% had 3-4 sexual partners before pregnancy, and 45% began their sexual life between the ages of 12-13. 11% contracted HIV, and 2% contracted syphilis. Family factors: 70.20% come from separated parents, 62.5% have weak family support, 15.60% experienced family rejection, 18.75% faced family abuse, and 0.06% were victims of rape by an unknown person. Family factors influence adolescent pregnancy and are related to HIV and syphilis.Ítem Acceso abierto Risk factors associated with the recurrence of pregnancy in adolescents: systematic review 2014-2019.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-11) Huallpa Palomino, Danixa Mirresha; Alfaro Fernández, Paul RubénObjective: To determine the evidence from research articles on the risk factors associated with adolescent pregnancy recurrence. Methodology: Qualitative systematic review of secondary data. The sample consisted of 24 studies published between 2014 and 2019 that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The GRADE scale was used for assessment. The data obtained were used to compare studies according to the risk factors associated with adolescent pregnancy recurrence. Results: The sociodemographic factors that showed statistical significance were age between 10 to 16 years, with an OR greater than 1.31. Primary and secondary education had an OR greater than 1.91. Regarding marital status, being single had an OR of 4.53. Being a housewife had an OR greater than 2.80. Harmful habits such as alcoholism and smoking had an OR greater than 3.63. Concerning gynecological-obstetric factors, early menarche had an OR of 2.72, starting sexual relations before 15 years old had an OR greater than 2.8, having more than 3 sexual partners had an OR of 3.03, not using contraceptives had an OR greater than 1.88, and an unplanned current pregnancy had an OR of 6.33. Regarding psychosocial factors, family type had an OR greater than 1.18, and financial support from a partner had an OR of 3.33. Conclusion: The scientific evidence on the risk factors associated with adolescent pregnancy recurrence showed a high-level recommendation strength.Publicación Acceso abierto Violencia familiar y embarazo en adolescentes atendidas en el centro de salud Inkawasi, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-25) Sigüeñas Adrianzen, Estefani Gudelia; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonEl objetivo en el estudio realizado es determinar como la violencia familiar influye en el embarazo de las adolescentes. Asimismo, la metodología utilizada fue de tipo deductivo de enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional analítico y el diseño fue no experimental. En el estudio la población estuvo constituido por 250 historias clínicas de adolescentes con una muestra de 112 adolescente embarazadas dentro del Centro de Salud Inkawasi. Los resultados fueron: la edad el 84.9% de las adolescentes tuvieron entre 15 a 19 años, el 52.7% de las adolescentes fueron de estado civil soltera, el 83% de las adolescentes tuvieron educación de nivel secundaria, el 88.4% de las adolescentes tiene como ocupación su casa y el 84.9% de las adolescentes se encontraba en la etapa tardía. En relación al análisis inferencial se encontró: correlación directa positiva y significativa entre la violencia familiar y el embarazo adolescente (p=0.036; 0.718), la violencia física tiene correlación directa y significativa con el embarazo adolescente (p=0.033; 0.856), la violencia psicológica tiene correlación directa y significativa con el embarazo adolescente (p=0.006; 0.690) y la violencia sexual tiene correlación directa y significativa con el embarazo adolescente (p=0.003; 0.809). En conclusión existe una correlación significativa y directa entre la violencia familiar y el embarazo adolescente en el Centro de Salud Inkawasi.
