Material and method: The research method will be hypothetical-deductive, the quantitative approach, the applied type, and the correlational design. The study population will be made up of 90 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who attend the Luis Negreiros Vega Primary Care Center III in Callao. The sample will be the same census population because it is finite (<100); it will not be necessary to calculate the sample; that is, it is 90 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. There are two instruments; the first the family apgar test (adaptation, participation, growth, affection and resources; the second the mbg questionnaire (active compliance, autonomy before treatment and complexity of adherence). The validation of the instruments by means of the binomial test (p = 0.025 and p = 0.022). The reliability of the instruments by means of the cronbach alpha coefficient (α = 0.840 and 0.889). Data processing will be carried out using the Microsoft excel 2019 program and the Spss 26.0 statistical program, descriptive statistics will be applied to perform the analysis of tabulated data in tables and figures; later, Spearman's rho correlation statistical test to determine the relationship between variables.Ítem Acceso abierto Gender and age: risk factors for domestic violence in older adults(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-18) Sánchez Quispe, Anabell Enedina; Estrada Vasquez, Margot Eliza; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaAnalyze and systematize the evidence on the risk factors that determine domestic violence in older adults. Materials and Methods: Observational Systematic Review that is a fundamental tool to schematize the available information, increase the validity of the conclusions of individual studies and point out areas where it is necessary to carry out research, as well as synthesize the results of multiple primary investigations. The search was limited to articles with full text, and the chosen articles were subjected to critical reading, using the grade system to establish the strength of recommendation. Results: Various scientific articles were found, 40% were studies done in Ecuador and the remaining 60% were studies done in different countries such as Venezuela, Cuba, Italy, Brazil and Trinidad and Tobago. For the type of quality of the evidence, it was found that 40% of the studies reviewed are of High quality. According to the study design, 50% of the studies were descriptive cross-sectional, 40% were systematic reviews and 10% were retrospective. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles examined, 8 of them show gender as the main risk factor for domestic violence in older adults; age is another important factor shown in 8 of 10 studies; 6 of the 10 studies mention another factor, the presence of physical or cognitive disability; 3 of the 10 studies point to educational level as another risk factor; and family structure in 3 of 10 studies.Ítem Acceso abierto Healthy lifestyles and family functionality of the elderly who attend the Santiago Apóstol de Comas Health Center 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-02) Castillo Jimenez, Mercedes Guadalupe; Cabrera Espezua, Jeannelly PaolaThe present research has as its general objective to determine the relationship that may exist between healthy lifestyles and family functionality of the elderly who attend the Santiago Apóstol de Comas health center. Conclusion: There is a problem of not so healthy family functionality that impacts the quality of life of the grandparents who go to the Santiago Apóstol de Comas health center.Ítem Acceso abierto Nutritional status and its relationship with comorbidities in patients with Covid -19 in the San Miguel health center, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-10) Herrera Rojas, Asunta; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: To analyze the relationship between nutritional status and comorbidities in patients with COVID-19 at the San Miguel Lima Health Center 2021 Material and method: This research has a quantitative approach, because data collection is used to demonstrate the hypothesis based on statistical analysis and the analysis of the qualities or attributes described to determine the results in a population. In quantitative research, data on the variables to be studied are examined and collected, since statistics are used to contrast the hypotheses; this approach is based on examining an objective reality based on numerical measurements and statistical analysis to establish predictions or behavior patterns of the phenomenon or problem posed.
