Results: In the experimental group before the execution of the recreational educational workshop, 77.8% (n=35/45) presented a low level of knowledge and 22.2% (n=10/45) presented a medium level. After the workshop, 93.3% (n=42/45) presented high knowledge and 6.7% (n=3/45) presented a medium level. Regarding the control group in the pre-test, 80% (n=36/45) had low knowledge; In the post-test, the level of knowledge remained low at 75.6% (n=34/45) Conclusions: The workshop was effective in increasing the mothers' level of knowledge, which was demonstrated through the t test. of Student, -32,465, with a significance level of α: 0.05, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the effectiveness of the recreational educational workshop is verified.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of peripherally inserted central catheter in lower limbs compared to insertion in upper limbs for reducing mechanical complications and infection in neonates in intensive care(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-08) Catanaima Ramírez, Yumaris Valentina; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the PICC in MS compared to insertion in MI in reducing complications in neonates hospitalized in the NICU. Method: The Systematic Review design was used, the search was limited to articles with full text, submitted to a critical reading, using Jover's evaluation to identify its level of evidence. Results: 10 articles were selected corresponding to China 20%, Canada 30%, Australia 10%, Sweden 10% and USA 30% comparatively. 40% of the studies stated that they did not find significant differences in complications that require removal of the PICC, 40% stated that the non-central position is a risk factor for complications and elimination, the tendency for which increases in MS, and 20% stated that the PICC placement in MI is associated with significantly increased risk of complications. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 6/10 showed mechanical complications and infection depending on the insertion site, adding that the location center of the PICC tip can have a significant impact on complications. Only 4/10 articles did not find any difference in complications according to the insertion zone. Recommendations: Greater knowledge about the types of PICC complications according to insertion site: MS or MI, can help focus location-based prevention and surveillance efforts to improve safety and minimize PICC complications in patients. patient in the NICU.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practices about the puncture technique for collecting Aga samples in hemodynamically unstable patients in the Shock Trauma service.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Rodríguez Pacco, José Antonio; Macha Rejas, Mirella Linda; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: Establish knowledge and effective practices on the puncture technique for Aga sampling in hemodynamically unstable patients in the Shock Trauma Service. Materials and Methods: The population is made up of the bibliographic review of 10 scientific articles published and indicated in scientific databases, no older than ten years and that respond to articles published in Spanish. Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design. To locate the scientific articles, the descriptors effectiveness, complications and failures of puncture in AGA sampling were used. Results: The scientific articles were located in the Scielo, Dialnet, Ebsco and Lilacs databases. 100% of the articles agree that health personnel and basically nurses have knowledge and correct practices in the puncture technique in collecting AGA samples in hemodynamically unstable patients, 40% of the articles show that failure in to the puncture access is due to the problems of finding a pulse in different areas where a pulse can be found effectively, which is given by the nursing care staff, and 80% of the articles show that the complications are rare such as extravasation, other articles refer to pain and other puncture problems as complications. Conclusion: It is concluded that the health personnel with emphasis on the nurse present adequate knowledge and a correct puncture technique in taking AGA samples and that this technique is stabilizing the patient and palpating the puncture area and the most comfortable angle to obtain a correct sample, since it is a very efficient, fast and effective route in access.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge, beliefs and attitudes in first-time mothers with exclusive breastfeeding from the Peru III zone health center, San Martin de Porres - 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-11-05) Moreano Loayza, Sandra; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoObjective: Determine the level of knowledge, beliefs and attitudes in first-time mothers with exclusive breastfeeding at the Peru III Health Center in the San Martín de Porres area–2019.
