Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, it was concluded that only 20% point out the effectiveness of pre-hospital therapeutic hypothermia in post-cardiac arrest patients, which shows an improvement in survival with good neurological results of patients upon hospital discharge. On the other hand, 80% of the articles reviewed indicate a series of limitations. Conclusion: The articles reviewed point out that the evidence does not support the administration of pre-hospital therapeutic hypothermia to patients with cardiac arrest where optimal temperature was not achieved by pre-hospital hypothermia due to short transport time. and limited cold liquid.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practices about the safety process of surgical instruments, nursing professional, Huaral hospital 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-04) Eustaquio Fernández, Carmen; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoPeru has a tendency that 20% of surgical interventions end in infection of the surgical site, this may be due to the fact that a sample of nursing personnel studied, 67% report that there is no specific area to carry out the cleaning process, and that 100% of the staff indicate that the activity is not carried out in an appropriate place, they do not use enzymatic detergent to wash materials, and that 79% do not comply with rinsing medical instruments with running water, and Even worse for the sterilization process, 46% do not place external or internal indicators (4) One of the elements contributing to the transmission of pathogens are the surgical instruments, which are used within the surgical act, which subsequently implies giving the appropriate cleaning and disinfection process to reduce the microbial load, guaranteeing optimal sterility and thus preventing this type. of complications (5) One of the elements contributing to the transmission of pathogens are the surgical instruments, which are used within the surgical act, which subsequently implies giving the appropriate cleaning and disinfection process to reduce the microbial load, guaranteeing optimal sterility and thus preventing this type. of complications (5) In this context, a great challenge arises for the nursing professional who requires knowledge about the care of surgical instruments since this must be meticulous and standardized, carried out in a methodical and precise manner (6).Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life of the caregiver of patients with schizophrenia treated at the Wiñay community mental health center, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-11) Wong Salazar, Rosmery Ingrid; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: Determine the quality of life of the caregiver in patients with schizophrenia treated at the Community Mental Health Center, Wiñay, 2020. Material and methods: The approach will be quantitative, because the variables will be measured through the use of an instrument. The design will be transversal, because the data is collected punctually with respect to time. Furthermore, it will be descriptive because it will be observed and measured without manipulating variables. The technique to be used is the survey. The instrument that will be used is the WHOQOL BREF. The WHOQOL-BREF is made up of 26 items to provide a broad and comprehensive evaluation. The instrument should be self-administered if respondents have the necessary understanding of it, otherwise interviewer-assisted or interview-administered forms should be used. It contains 4 dimensions, which denote people's perception of the quality of life in these dimensions. Domain scores are scaled in a positive direction (i.e., higher scores indicate better quality of life). The mean score of the items within each dimension is used to calculate the dimension score. Once the conversions have been made, the final scores are on a scale of 0 – 100. In Peru it has been validated in various investigations. Leguía, in Peru, in the study “Quality of Life and coping strategies in older adults in Lima” carried out validity and reliability tests, finding a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.86. De la Cruz and collaborators, in 2014, also carried out a validation of expert judgment, obtaining high agreement rates.Ítem Acceso abierto Reduction in complications due to early removal of the Bladder Catheter in patients undergoing Transurethral Resection of the Prostate(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Jaramillo Fernández, Carmen Soledad; Salinas Aite, Virginia Elizabeth; Mendigure Fernández, JulioObjective: Systematize the available evidence on the reduction of complications with early removal of the bladder catheter in patients undergoing transurethral resection of the prostate. Material and method: It is a systematic review of 10 articles, selected, with full text identifying their quality of evidence through critical reading Caspe. The following databases were used: Lilacs, BVS, Scielo, elsevier, Cochrane. Results: 60% of the evidence has shown that early removal of the bladder catheter (within 24 hours) is safe and feasible, reducing complications such as: Bleeding, urinary tract infection, urinary retention due to bladder catheter obstruction ; It also improves the patient's quality of life, reduces hospital stay and reduces costs. 30% of the evidence indicates that there is no significant difference in the appearance of complications with early or late removal of the bladder catheter and 10% of the evidence indicates that there is a significant relationship between early removal of the bladder catheter and the development of urinary retention. Conclusions: 60% of the evidence demonstrates that early removal of the bladder catheter reduces complications in patients undergoing transurethral prostate resection.Ítem Acceso abierto Sociodemographic factors and their relationship with adherence to the vaccination schedule in mothers of children under 5 years of age from chapter III Luis Negreiros Vega, Callao 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-12) Arango Parhuana, Rosa María; Palomino Taquire, RewardsAim. Establish the relationship between Sociodemographic factors and their relationship with adherence to the vaccination schedule in mothers of children under 5 years of age cared for at the Luis Negreiros Vega Primary Care Center. Materials and methods. The approach of this research corresponds to the quantitative one, and the design to be used will be the descriptive correlational one. The population will be made up of 100 mothers of children under 5 years old who are cared for at the Luis Negreiros Vega Primary Care Center III, located in the Constitutional Province of Callao, and the sample will consist of 80 mothers of children under 5 years old cared for in the aforementioned Center. The sampling will be simple random probabilistic sampling. The techniques will consist of the survey and observation, through which a questionnaire and a registration form will be administered, respectively, to the mothers of the selected sample. The questionnaire consists of two sections: a first section on general data about the child and the mother; and a second section with specific data regarding the content, which is made up of 24 items constructed with multiple response options, to which the mother will respond by choosing the one that she assumes is correct or in accordance with what she usually does. The rating of each item varies from 0 to 2 points. Regarding validity by expert judgment, the results showed that the questionnaire has content validity. Concerning reliability, the results obtained indicate that Cronbach's alpha is equivalent to 0.765, a value that means that the instrument presents an acceptable level of internal consistency and, therefore, is reliable for administration to the study sample.Ítem Acceso abierto Timing of administration of intravenous thrombolytics in patients with ischemic stroke to limit damage and disability(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-22) De Rio Monteluis, Claudia Patricia; Cruz Carranza, Jonathan; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleMaterial and methods: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles evidenced on the administration time of intravenous thrombolytics in patients with ischemic stroke were obtained from the databases Pubmed, Scielo, Medline, Ebsco, Elsevier, Dialnet, ProQuest.
