Material and Method: The systematic review is a synthesis of the literature, which attributes high evidence on the effectiveness of interventions on related topics in the area of health, subjected to critical selection, using the GRADE evaluation system for the identification of the degree of evidence, disseminated in the following databases Scielo, Lilacs, Medline, Ebsco, Pubmed. Of the 10 scientific articles systematically reviewed, 20% (n=2/10) are systematic reviews and 80% (n=8/10) are quasi-experimental studies. According to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, they come from the countries of Brazil (10%), Spain (10%) and Cuba (80%). Results: 10/10 of the articles reviewed show that an education program is effective for the prevention of HIV and STIs in healthy adolescents. Conclusions: an education program is effective for the prevention of HIV and STIs in healthy adolescents using participatory methodology that includes recreational activities, role plays, debates, use of technology, educational games and reflective activities. conferences, videos, round tables, posters, brochures, audiovisual spot programs.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of negative pressure therapy in the healing of chronic foot wounds in patients with diabetes(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-25) Rodríguez Chula, Elsa del Milagro; García Carmona, María Eugenia; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoMaterial and methods: The studies are systematized through a review of international research articles and existing scientific literature. These are subjected to a selection using the Grade evaluation system in order to assign the degree of evidence, using the basis LILACS, DECS, SCIELO, COCHRANE, PUBMED, ELSEVIER AND MESH data; for the search in Spanish and English respectively. The selection of articles was carried out using previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Only randomized clinical trials were included in this review. Conclusion: 10/10 of the articles analyzed agree that negative pressure therapy is an effective adjuvant therapeutic modality since it reduces the time of the healing process with a minimum rate of complications, of chronic foot wounds of patients with diabetes. and therefore the decrease in the number and time of hospitalizations and additional surgical interventions, which consequently reduces costs.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of Oral Hygiene with Chlorhexidine in the Prevention of Pneumonia Associated with Mechanical Ventilation in the Intensive Care Unit(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Llancari Tutaya, Saul; Meza Durán, Vanessa; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjectives: Determine the effectiveness of oral hygiene with chlorhexidine in the prevention of pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation. Material and methods: A review of the medical literature was carried out, which consists of a review of 5 systematic reviews and 5 clinical trials indexed in scientific databases, which respond to articles published in Spanish and English. A search was carried out for articles indexed in Lipecs, Lilacs, Scielo, Cochrane Plus, IntraMed, using the keywords: Effectiveness of oral care AND prevention of pneumonia AND mechanical ventilation AND intensive care, Effectiveness of oral care OR prevention of pneumonia OR ventilation mechanical OR intensive care, Oral care AND prevention of pneumonia NOT mechanical ventilation, Effectiveness oral care OR prevention of pneumonia NOT mechanical ventilation, Oral care OR chlorhexidine AND ventilator-associated pneumonia. Results: 5 systematic reviews and 5 clinical trials were found, which met the inclusion criteria. It was noted that nine of the 10 reviews substantiate and show the effectiveness of chlorhexidine in the prevention of pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation, only one mentions that it does not prevent or completely reduce chlorhexidine. . Conclusions: Oral hygiene with chlorhexidine is effective in preventing pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of palliative care to improve the quality of life of children with cancer(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-25) Velasquez Palma, Diana Noemí; Maynaza Machaca, Inés; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of palliative care to improve the quality of life in children with cancer. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study is a systematic observational and retrospective review of articles with full text, in which their grade or quality of evidence was identified according to the Grade System. The population was made up of 10 articles obtained from the following databases in Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library, Dialnet, Scielo, and Lilacs search engines. Of which 90% (9/10) correspond to systematic reviews and 10% (1/10) to literature reviews, of these 60% (6/10) correspond to the United States, 10% to the United Kingdom ( 1/10), Germany 10% (1/10), Canada 10% (1/10), and Colombia 10% (1/10). Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% demonstrate that palliative care is effective in improving the quality of life in children with cancer. Conclusions: 100% of the articles show that palliative care is effective in improving the quality of life in children with cancer; helping in the prevention and relief of pain, anguish, reducing stress levels, anxiety, and fear associated with the disease; raising their quality of life, both for the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the child and their family.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the nurse's educational intervention in reducing stress in adult patients undergoing invasive procedures(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Oré Romaní, Enervina; Ciudad Esquivel, Eva Victoria; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarAim. Analyze and synthesize results of the systematic review of studies carried out regarding the effectiveness of educational intervention by nurses in reducing stress in adult patients undergoing invasive procedures. Materials and Methods: Systematic literature review. The search has been restricted to articles in Spanish with full text available in PDF. The selected articles are subjected to critical reading using the Critical Appraisal Skills Program CASPe3 and A.J Jover evaluation. Results: In the systematic review, the search question was considered, as well as the keywords and it allowed us to know the lack of information on the search topic, since the evidence found is with results that are expected to be achieved, being that it was taken as a criterion. of inclusion, as well as evidence that we found in other languages or required an economic cost to acquire the information, for this reason there was difficulty in the corresponding analysis. Discussion: In ten preselected articles, in different databases, 9 were selected with high evidence according to the A.J JOVER method. 8 the results allow us to identify that nursing guidance and intervention does influence the characteristics of the care provided by the nursing professional. Conclusion: We can determine that nursing intervention is important in the self-care of the patient undergoing invasive procedures, since it affects both the patient and his family in all dimensions of life, which is why it requires an interdisciplinary approach.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of Nebulization with 3% Hypertonic Solution Versus 0.9% Saline Solution in Children Under 2 Years of Age With Bronchiolitis(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Marcelo Avalos, Mónica Jesús; Maylle Antaurco, Teodosia Carmen; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the use of 3% hypertonic solution versus 0.9% saline solution in children under 2 years of age with bronchiolitis who receive nebulizations. Materials and methods: The type of study is a systematic review, and this is of literature published during the period 2011-2016, 10 articles were selected, subjected to a critical reading, using the GRADE SYSTEM to identify the degree of evidence and strength recommendation of each article. 70% of the articles show that there is effectiveness of a 3% hypertonic solution, since it reduces hospital stay, admission rate, shorter oxygen therapy time, lower economic cost and fewer side effects compared to saline solution 0.9 %. Conclusions: Our study demonstrates a firm evidence base for the use of 3% hypertonic solution in bronchiolitis in children under two years of age, being more effective compared to 0.9% saline solution.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practices on pain management in neonatal venipuncture of nursing professionals, Lima hospital, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-09) Caldas Coronado, Wendy Elizabeth; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioThis study emerges from the interest in knowing the level of knowledge and practices on pain management in neonatal venipuncture of nursing professionals in a hospital in Lima in the year 2022; The objective was also to determine the level of knowledge and practices on pain management in neonatal venipuncture of nursing professionals. The research method applied is deductive with a cross-sectional, non-experimental correlational quantitative approach. Likewise, for the population a total of 50 nurses who work in the neonatal intensive care unit were considered; The technique that will be used for data collection will be a questionnaire that will measure the level of knowledge about pain management in neonatal venipuncture, which was developed by Millán (2012), based on the review of literature related to the topic. The questionnaire is originally composed of four parts and modified by Quezada (2016) with a reliability of 0.801, it consists of 16 questions, and to measure the variable practices on the management of neonatal venipunctures, a checklist that was developed by Oblitas will be used ( 2018) with a reliability of Kuder Richardson KR - 20, thus obtaining a value greater than 0.60 having 10 items for the check. To prepare the results, percentage distribution tables will be used in which the results of each variable and its dimensions will be disclosed.
