    Calidad de sueño en deportistas que asisten a la academia JM Talent Group, Amazonas - 2025

    Del siguiente estudio su finalidad fue: “Determinar el nivel de la calidad de sueño en los adultos en deportistas que asisten a la academia JM Talent Group, Amazonas - 2025” Material y método: Se utilizó como instrumento el “Índice de Calidad de Sueño de Pittsburgh” para medir la calidad de sueño en deportistas. La muestra estuvo conformada por 160 deportistas de la academia JM Talent Group Amazonas, método descriptivo, enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental y corte transversal. El análisis de la información se realizó mediante el SPSS versión 27.0. Resultados: La edad promedio en deportistas fue de 31,11 con un IMC promedio de 22,01. En cuanto al género femenino representado por el 32,50% y el masculino fue de 67.50%. Es relevante destacar que los niveles de calidad de sueño es 73,7% no tienen problemas de sueño mientras que el 26,3% merece atención médica. Conclusión: Se concluye que calidad de sueño es óptimo en los deportistas que asisten a la academia JM Talent Group, Amazonas – 2025.

    Effective interventions in the prevention of infestation in patients with urinary cateterism

    Objective: To analyze the evidence on effective interventions in the prevention of infection in patients with urinary catheterization Materials and methods: the type of study was quantitative and the study design was a systematic review, the population consisted of 30 studies and the sample was 10 articles, this review was found in the following databases Medline, PubMed, Elsevier, Scielo. and BVS. where the GRADE system was used, which identifies the quality of the evidence and the recommended strength. Results: it was obtained that: the use of reminders is effective, as are standardized protocols, the bundles that are nursing interventions already established, supervision by the nurse, hand washing to reduce bacteria and the use of the antimicrobial catheter. On the other hand, the quality gaps in the documentation of the use of different urinary catheters with the results of the urine are not effective. Conclusions: 90% (n = 9/10) of the 10 articles reviewed showed that the effective interventions for the prevention of infection in patients with urinary catheterization were: the use of reminders, standardized protocols, the bundles, continuous nursing supervision, hand washing and also the use of antimicrobial catheters with silver alloy. However, 10% (n=1/10) of the reviewed articles also showed that the quality gaps in the documentation of the use of different urinary catheters are not effective with the results of the urine, since there is no concordance in both.

    Effectiveness of a developmental program in assertiveness in nursing professionals.

    Objective: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of a program in the development of assertiveness in nursing professionals. Materials and Methods: The design used was a systematic review. The population consisted of a bibliographic review of 30 scientific articles published and indexed in scientific databases, responding to articles published in English, with a maximum age of ten years. Selection criteria were established, and the sample consisted of 10 articles.Results: In the data search, several scientific articles were found, and the following databases were used: Scielo, Plos One, Pubmed. 30% (3/10) of the found evidence comes from Egypt, 27% from Turkey, 18% from Korea, 9% from India, 9% from Australia, 9% from Japan, and 9% from Portugal. Among the 10 pieces of evidence, 100% (n=10/10) of these studies are quasi-experimental, with 70% (7/10) being experimental, 10% (1/10) correlational, and 10% (1/10) clinical trials. Of the total articles reviewed, 90% (9/10) agree that assertiveness programs are effective in improving self-esteem, stress, and interpersonal relationships in nursing staff, while only 10% (1/10) disagree. Conclusions: After the systematic review, it was concluded that the 10 (n=9/10) articles presented provide evidence that interpersonal relationships between nurses and patients improve with assertiveness programs. This was observed in nine out of eleven studies, resulting in the conclusion that assertiveness programs improve interpersonal relationships between individuals and their environment.

    Effectiveness of blood pressure measurement performed by physicians versus measurement by nurses in the timely identification of pathologies

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of blood pressure measurement performed by doctors versus measurement by nurses in the timely identification of pathology. Materials and Methods: The type of research was quantitative, the study design was a systematic review, the population was 35 articles, and the sample was 10 scientific articles published and indexed in scientific databases, the instrument was a search based of data: Cochrane Library, Scielo British Medical Journal, PubMed, Lancet, Wiley Online Library and EBSCO, to evaluate the articles the GRADE method was used which evaluated the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation. Results: 100% of the articles, 20% correspond to the United Kingdom, 10% to Chile, 10% to Spain, 30% to the USA, and 30% to Brazil. In relation to the designs and types of studies, 20% cross-sectional observational study, 10% cross-sectional descriptive study, 20% systematic review and 50% quasi-experimental. Conclusions: 70% of the studies show that the measurement of blood pressure is more effective than that carried out by nursing staff because this procedure is performed on a daily basis and is within their training, it reduces the gown effect and that it is purely a nurse's procedure and that the medical professional has errors in the blood pressure results. And 20% show that blood pressure measurement should be carried out by medical personnel because they have sufficient knowledge to do it. 10% of the evidence indicates that both professionals should measure blood pressure.

    Effectiveness of burn care in reducing pain and infection in pediatric patients

    Objective: To systematize the evidence found on the effectiveness of burn care to reduce pain and infection in pediatric patients. Material and Methods: Systematic review, based on critical reading and carried out under the GRADE evaluation system to assess the quality of evidence of the articles selected from the following databases: PubMed, Epistemonikos, Wiley Online Library, Sciencedirect, Cochrane and Scielo. Results: The reviewed articles showed that 40% are randomized controlled trials, 30% are systematic reviews, 10% are prospective randomized controlled trials, 10% are retrospective cohort studies and 10% are non-experimental quantitative descriptive studies. On the other hand, it was found that 90% support the effectiveness of burn care for reducing pain and infection in pediatric patients, decreasing the burned body area and reepithelialization of the burn, while 10% indicate that there is not enough evidence around the research topic and the appearance of infection in pediatric patients was found. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed in (9/10) it was found that there is effectiveness of burn care for reducing pain and infection in pediatric patients and in (1/10) it was shown that there is no effectiveness.

    Effectiveness of hydrogels for the treatment of pressure ulcers in stage II, III, IV in elderly adults

    Objectives: To systematize the evidence on the efficacy of hydrogels in the treatment of pressure ulcers in elderly patients. Materials and Methods: Systematic review, meta-analysis, and retrospective study. The databases used were Pubmed, Medline, Elsevier, and Scielo. The search was restricted to full-text articles, and the selected articles were critically reviewed using Jover’s evaluation to determine their level of evidence. Results: A total of 9 articles were selected, with 45% (4/9) from the United Kingdom and 55% (5/9) from Spain, Ireland, Brazil, Turkey, and the U.S. Of the articles analyzed, 90% affirm that the use of hydrogels in treating pressure ulcers (PU) is effective and more cost-effective than traditional treatment, while only 10% of the studies found a slight superiority of foam dressings compared to hydrogels. Conclusions: Hydrogel treatment for stage II, III, IV PU promotes autolytic debridement, facilitates healing by promoting faster epithelialization, and its effectiveness is also determined by comparison with other products, its low cost, and the short time required for the healing process.

    Effectiveness of nasogastric tubes in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the use of the nasogastric tube in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding. Material and Method: the design used was a systematic review. The population was made up of 20 articles from indexed journals, which, through inclusion and exclusion criteria, determined a sample of 10 scientific articles. The GRADE system was used to evaluate the quality and strength of recommendation of the evidence. Results: From the review carried out, 40% (4/10) come from the United States, 20% (2/10) come from France, 10% (1/10) from Turkey, 10% (1/10) Spain , 10% (1/10) Japan and 10% (1/10) Israel. According to the study design, 30% (3/10) were systematic reviews, 20% (2/10) randomized clinical trials, 40% (4/10) observational cohort and 10% (1/10) quasi-experimental. According to the quality of evidence, 50% (5/10) were high and the other 50% (5/10) were moderate. Conclusions: There is significant evidence of the effectiveness of the use of the nasogastric tube in patients with digestive bleeding.

    Effectiveness of non-invasive mechanical ventilation to improve oxygenation in patients with acute respiratory failure presenting to the emergency department

    Objective: To evaluate the evidence on the effectiveness of non-invasive mechanical ventilation. Methodology: The selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using the GRADE assessment to identify their level of evidence. Results: The result of the study indicates that 80% of the articles reviewed affirm that non-invasive mechanical ventilation is effective, while 20% state that it is not, but in this case, they suggest further studies. Using databases such as Pubmed, Medline, Elsevier, and Scielo, 10 articles from different regions of the world were studied, including three meta-analyses, two cross-sectional descriptive studies, and one quasi-experimental study, prospective cohort, retrospective cohort, longitudinal experimental, and analytical descriptive, all supporting the effectiveness of non-invasive mechanical ventilation. It is worth mentioning that no studies were found on this topic in Peru, or they have not been published. Conclusions: The studies determine that non-invasive mechanical ventilation has become a safe and effective treatment in a wide range of acute and chronic respiratory failure situations.

    Objective: To systematize effective nursing care in the prevention of central venous catheter infections in newborns. Materials and Methods: Systematic review of 10 selected articles from the Pubmed, Elsevier, Sciencedirect, Scielo, Redalyc, and Dialnet databases. This is a quantitative study with a systematic, cohort, and case-control design. Results: Effective nursing care for preventing infections in newborns with a peripheral insertion central venous catheter, based on the systematic review results, includes the following design types: 40% Systematic Review, 30% Cohort, 20% Case-Control, and 10% Cross-sectional. In terms of quality: 40% were of high quality, and 60% were of moderate quality. Regarding the country of origin: 60% were from Brazil, 20% from China, 10% from the United Kingdom, and 10% from Canada. In all 10 articles, effective nursing care included the following interventions: aseptic technique (17.6%), daily observation (14.7%), hand hygiene (11.8%), dressing management (11.8%), proper selection of catheter insertion site (8.8%), catheter fixation and sealing (8.8%), signs of inflammation at the insertion site (8.8%), biosecurity barrier precautions (5.9%), updating and training of nurses in techniques (5.9%), availability of necessary materials (2.9%), and knowledge of medication administration to prevent infections in newborns (2.9%). Conclusion: The main effective nursing interventions for preventing infections in newborns with a central venous catheter are aseptic technique, daily site inspection, hand hygiene, and dressing management.

    Effectiveness of stem cells in the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases

    Objective: To systematize and analyze the evidence on the effectiveness of stem cells for the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases. Materials and Methods: This is a qualitative study; the study design is a systematic review, and the population consisted of 25 scientific articles, with a sample of 10 articles. The databases used included Cochrane Library, Wiener Library, Ebsco Host, PubMed, and Online Library. The analysis technique employed was the GRADE method, which recognizes not only the importance of randomized trials but also high-quality evidence found in other sources. Results: Ten scientific articles were analyzed, with 30% being qualitative and 70% quantitative. The study designs included 30% systematic reviews and 70% clinical trials. Regarding the countries of origin, 50% of the studies were from the United States, 20% from France, 10% from Chile, 10% from Belgium, and 10% from the United Kingdom. A systematic review study was effective for changes in LVEF (Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction) in ICM (Ischemic Cardiomyopathy) trials where stem cell injections were administered, with a 3.2% improvement in the treatment group and -1.3% in the control group. Conclusions: It was concluded that 90% of the studies on stem cell-based management for cardiovascular disease patients are effective, as they controlled disease activity, prevented cardiovascular damage, and were well tolerated. The remaining 10% concluded that stem cell therapy for cardiovascular disease patients is not effective, as no advantage was demonstrated for these patients.

    Factores asociados a la no conclusión del Paquete de Atención Integral de salud de adolescentes en Establecimientos de salud de Loreto en el año 2023

    El propósito de esta tesis es analizar los factores asociados a la no finalización del Paquete de Atención Integral de Salud para adolescentes en los establecimientos de salud de Loreto en 2023, con el fin de proponer estrategias para mejorar la efectividad y accesibilidad de estos servicios. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, de tipo transversal y correlacional. La muestra del estudio incluyó a 317 adolescentes seleccionados mediante un muestreo probabilístico, con un nivel de confianza del 96% y un margen de error del 4%. Se aplicó la prueba Chi cuadrado de Pearson para evaluar las hipótesis. Los resultados generales revelaron una relación significativa entre ciertos factores y la no finalización del paquete (p-valor 0.000). En la hipótesis específica 1, sobre factores sociodemográficos, no se encontró una relación significativa (p-valor 0.641), aceptando la hipótesis nula. En cambio, la hipótesis específica 2 centrada en factores psicosociales, mostró una fuerte relación (p-valor 0.000). La hipótesis específica 3, relacionada con la salud sexual y reproductiva, no arrojó una relación significativa (p-valor 0.810). Los hallazgos sugieren que las estrategias deben enfocarse en los factores psicosociales, y se recomienda realizar estudios cualitativos para explorar otros factores.

    Factors associated with complications after insertion of invasive catheters

    Objective: Establish the factors associated with complications after insertion of invasive catheters. Material and Method: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using Jover's evaluation to identify their degree of evidence. Results: The population was made up of the bibliographic review of 02 systematic reviews and 08 scientific articles published and indexed in scientific databases, no older than five years and that respond to articles published in Spanish, we found that 20 % (02) correspond to Chile, with 30% (03) we find Spain, while with 10% (05) we find Washington, Wisconsin, Brazil, Mexico and Costa Rica respectively. Most of the quantitative, transversal, experimental and quasi-experimental studies have been studied with 80%, mainly in the countries of Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico and Spain. Among systematic reviews we find the country of Chile and Wisconsin, with 20%. Conclusions: Among the factors associated with complications we found in 80% of the studies high blood pressure, condition of the catheter, sex, obesity, diabetes mellitus, as for the pathologies according to the studies found were pneumonia, neonatal sepsis, meningitis and perinatal asphyxia; The most frequently found microorganisms were Staphylococcus coagulase (-), Pseudomona sp. and Candida sp. and that greater education of health professionals decreases the incidence of primary bloodstream infections and a substantial decrease in the patient's health care costs.

    Factors that influence treatment abandonment in patients with arterial hypertension

    Materials and Methods: Systematic review of 10 articles, finding that 40% (04) correspond to Canada, 40% (04) correspond to Brazil, 10% (01) correspond to Spain, and finally with 10% (01) to USA. Most of them have been Systemic reviews type studies, with 50%, mainly in the countries of Canada and Brazil, and with 30% we have case control, cohort and analytical studies belonging to Spain, the United States and Brazil analyzed according to the Grade system, with a maximum age of 5 years. Results: Of the total number of articles reviewed, it was identified that 40% (4/10) reported that the factor that influences abandonment of treatment with arterial hypertension is forgetfulness, and 30% (3/10) reported that the factor What influences the abandonment of treatment with Arterial Hypertension is the level of knowledge, finally 20% (2/10) report that the factor that influences the abandonment of treatment with Arterial Hypertension is due to beliefs.Conclusions:It was evident in the research that 90% (n = 9/10) of the factors that influence abandonment of treatment with Arterial Hypertension are for personal reasons (forgetfulness, level of knowledge, beliefs), 10% ( 1/10) are for reasons of dissatisfaction with the health care service.

    Influencia de las demoras en la mortalidad materna en el Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue en los años 2020-2024

    El presente estudio tuvo el Objetivo: “Determinar la influencia de las demoras en la mortalidad materna en el Hospital Hipólito Unanue de Lima, en los años 2020 al 2024” Material y métodos: Hipotético-Deductivo, cuantitativo, aplicado y no experimental. Resultados: en referencia a la edad las pacientes fallecidas tenían más de 35 años y el 48,4% eran solteras. En relación a la primera demora podemos observar que el 83,9% de las fallecidas presentaron baja influencia, 12,9% mediana y 3,2% alta. existe una baja influencia con 82,6% y 87,5% respectivamente. no existe diferencias estadísticas significativas entre ambas variables (p=0,833) En cuanto a la segunda demora fue la única que presentó significancia estadística en la mortalidad materna (p=0,001) con un 69,6%, es decir mediana influencia, el 74,2% de los casos estuvieron asociados a la demora en atención, 19,4% a enfermedades preexistentes y el 6,5% por falta de recursos En relación a la tercera demora presentan baja y mediana influencia, con un 48,4% cada una, mientras que un 4,3% una alta influencia. se observa también, que no existe diferencias estadísticas significativas entre ambas variables (p=0,836); Finalmente la cuarta demora en forma global de los casos de muerte materna, predominó un porcentaje del 96.8% en baja influencia, mientras que el 3.2% mediana influencia. Podemos observar también, que no existe diferencias estadísticas significativas entre ambas variables (p=0,085);, las principales causas de muerte fueron, SARS CoV2, trastornos hipertensivos y hemorragia. Conclusiones: Las demoras no influyen de manera significativa con la mortalidad materna en el Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue de Lima en los años 2020-2024.

    Knowledge and practice in the care of the polytraumatized patient in nurses of the emergency service of the regional hospital of Huacho-2021

    Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice in the care of polytraumatized patients in nurses of the Emergency Service of the Huacho Regional Hospital-2021. Basic, quantitative, non-experimental research; with an inductive method. We will work with 30 nursing professionals who work in the emergency service, defined by simple random probabilistic sampling with a 95% confidence level. The information will be collected using two questionnaires validated in previous studies: on knowledge, consisting of 28 questions, whose consistency was 0.76 and reliability 0.69 obtained by Cronbach's Alpha. The observation guide, consisting of 29 questions, validated with a Pearson Correlation of 0.76 and 0.77 reliability of Cronbach's Alpha. Statistical analysis will be carried out through SPSS software, for the correlation hiring the Chi square test will be used.

    Knowledge of humanized care and nursing practice in a private clinic in Lima, 2022.

    Objective: To analyze the relationship of knowledge of humanized care with nursing practice in a specialized clinic in Lima, 2022. Materials and methods: A quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional study was carried out, executed in a sample consisting of 63 nurses and 30 nursing technicians, to whom the knowledge questionnaire on humanized care was applied and subsequently said practice was observed through a rating list of the practice of humanized care. The data collected were dumped into an SPSS 24 database for the preparation of tables. Results: Of the total number of nurses evaluated (43%), they were between 35 and 45 years old, mostly (95.7%) female, with a predominant working time (50.5%) between 1 and 5 years. In addition, a relationship was found between knowledge in humanized care and practice in the dimensions of qualities of nursing, proactivity and availability for care. And on the contrary, no relationship was found in the dimensions of patient feelings, characteristics of the nurse, physical support, emotional support and empathy.

    Level of knowledge of nurses about care focused on the development of the premature hospitalized in the intensive neonatal care unit of an Institute in Lima 2020

    The research project is quantitative, descriptive, it was carried out during the months of June - November 2020, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of an Institute in Lima, with the purpose of determining the level of knowledge of nurses about care focused on the development of the premature infant hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The sample universe would be made up of 55 nurses, who meet the inclusion criteria. Data collection will be obtained by applying an instrument: a questionnaire to measure the knowledge of nurses on care focused on the development of premature infants, which will be categorized into a high, medium and low level of knowledge according to the score. The data obtained will be systematized and automatically processed in a system, using a statistical analysis through the Chi square test of independence (x2).
