Metodología: Correspondiente al tipo aplicada, dispone de un enfoque denominado cuantitativo, y diseño conocido como correlacional. Población y Muestra: La muestra como la población se encontrarán constituidos por 58 enfermeros, establecida por intermedio del muestreo de tipo no probabilístico. Técnica e Instrumentos: La técnica corresponderá a las denominadas observación y encuesta, implementándose como instrumento una guía de observación de intervención preventiva en neumonía vinculada a la ventilación, y un cuestionario de conocimiento del enfermero para la prever neumonía vinculada a la ventilación en áreas criticas, las que evidencian una confiabilidad por Kuder Richardson de 0,821 y 0,921 respectivamente. La población estará constituida por 60 enfermeras de la UCI del Hospital Nacional Alberto Sabogal Sologuren. Para la muestra se considerará el total de la población y en cuanto al diseño metodológico el estudio sigue un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental transversal. El instrumento que se utilizará en el estudio para evaluar “el conocimiento” será el cuestionario adaptado por Evelyn Paola Condori Isuiza en el 2022 el cual presenta una alta confiabilidad según la prueba Kuder-Richardson (KR-20) con un coeficiente de 0.89%, y para evaluar la variable “práctica” se utilizará la guía de observación adaptada por Baca Sánchez, Ysabel Karin en el 2021 presentando una alta confiabilidad corroborada a través de la prueba V de Aiken para con una concordancia de 0.83%. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta. El análisis de datos se realizará con el software SPSS versión 26, además, se realizará un análisis estadístico inferencial con el propósito de responder a las hipótesis planteadas en la investigación. Mostly systematic reviews 80%, meta-analysis 10% and non-randomized trial 10%, mainly in the countries of Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Chile, South Africa, Australia. Material and Methods: International articles are systematically reviewed by searching the Pubmed, Elsevier and Science Direct databases, which are analyzed through the grade system, using DECS and MESH descriptors. When evaluating the articles, the result was that 100% (10/10) of the articles correspond to Brazil, England, Japan, the United States, China, India, Egypt, Korea, Switzerland and Iran respectively. Results: 90% (09/10) of the evidence indicates that the effectiveness is similar between open and closed endotracheal suction systems in the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients hospitalized in the ICU, and 10% (01/ 10) indicate that the closed circuit is more effective than the open one. Conclusions: It is found that 09 of the 10 evidence conclude that the effectiveness is similar between open and closed endotracheal suction systems in the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients hospitalized in the ICU, and 01 of 10 indicate that the closed circuit is more effective than open. Material and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective review, subjected to critical reading and using the GRADE evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence of the articles published in the following databases: PubMed, Epistemonikos, Sciencedirect, and Researchgate. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 70% (n= 7/10) are meta-analyses, 10% (n= 1/10) are a systematic review, 20% (n= 2/10) are randomized controlled trials and are from of the countries of China (50%), followed by Canada (20%), Australia (10%), France (10%) and Iran (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) (11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20) indicate that drainage of subglottic secretion is effective in reducing ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients. in critical units. The population is made up of 60 nursing professionals who work in the intensive care unit of a Private Clinic in Lima, the participating professionals were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria proposed, one of the inclusion criteria is those who accept voluntarily participate in the research and sign the informed consent. Methodology: Hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, type of applied research, non-specific design. experimental, correlational cross section. Population: 160 patients, resulting in a sample of 82 patients. For the measurement of variables, García's work will be taken into account in 2022. The technique used for both study variables will be observation. The instrument for variable 1 of “Risk factors” is a data collection sheet and for variable 2 of “Pneumonia due to Mechanical Ventilation” the instrument will be a Pulmonary Infection Clinical Assessment Scale (CPIS). The validation included the judgment of three experts on the two instruments, finding a value of 0.806 for No. 1 and 0.83 for No. 2. Regarding reliability, it was through the Cronbach's alpha test. obtained a result of 0.93 for No. 1 and a value of 0.87 for No. 2, which indicated that its application is reliable. Patient data collection will be tabulated in tables and graphs. Finally, the proposed objective will be resolved by evaluating the relationship between the two variables with the Rho Spearman coefficient.
