Climate and school bullying among adolescents at the José del Carmen Marín Arista Educational Institution in Metropolitan Lima – 2017.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-08-14) Albornoz Carlos, Virginia; Chiquez Bardales, Jenniffer Jacqueline; Borda Izquierdo, Alejandro
Objective: To determine the work conditions related to the ability to provide humanized care among nurses at the Daniel Alcides Carrión National Hospital in Lima, 2018. Materials and Methods: This was a quantitative, correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 196 nursing professionals working in the hospital's inpatient areas, selected through non-probability convenience sampling. The instruments used were the Care Skills Inventory and a questionnaire on work conditions. Results: In terms of humanized care ability, 75.15% had medium-level skills, 18.93% had low-level skills, and 5.92% had high-level skills. Regarding work conditions, 80.47% were at a regular level, and 19.53% were at a good level. When correlating both variables, it was found that humanized care ability had a medium level in relation to work conditions, with 61.5% of respondents reporting regular work conditions. In terms of dimensions of humanized care ability, 42% had a high level in knowledge, 71.6% had a low level in values, and 46.2% had a medium level in patience. Conclusion: The work conditions faced by nursing staff at the Daniel Alcides Carrión National Hospital significantly correlate with the level of humanized care ability (p = 0.000 → p < 0.05). Better work conditions are associated with higher levels of humanized care ability.

Level of knowledge and degree of anxiety of the preoperative patient in minor surgery of a National Hospital, Lima - 2022
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-04) Rosas Torres, Beatriz Felicita; Molina Torres, Jose Gregorio
Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the degree of anxiety in preoperative patients undergoing minor surgery at a national hospital in Lima-2022, considering that the perception of danger or threat is always a defense mechanism of the body for its protection. However, in the presence of various pathologies that can only be solved through surgery, it is necessary to control this perception in order to achieve a curative treatment for patients. Methodology: The methodology of this research project is hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental, and descriptive-correlational. A total of 130 preoperative patients will be included, which is the total population; however, a significant sample of 73 patients will be needed. Conclusion: Most patients had a low level of knowledge regarding preoperative information. Furthermore, a large number of patients reported a moderate level of anxiety, and this data was collected using the IDARE-I questionnaire, which assesses trait-state anxiety as proposed by Spielberger. All ethical principles were considered during the data collection process and in the analysis.

Quality and Satisfaction with Nursing Care in Postoperative Patients in the Recovery Unit of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, Lima, 2022.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-07) Espinoza Rojas, Jheyson Donald; Fernández Rengifo, Werther Fernando
Introduction: When patients are admitted to the Postoperative Recovery Unit, the demands for patient care increase significantly, both from state and non-state sources, due to ongoing complaints about mistreatment, poor quality, and dissatisfaction with healthcare professionals. Therefore, it is essential to provide quality care by the professional and satisfaction through proper treatment for the benefit of the patient. Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of immediate postoperative patients in the Recovery Unit of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, Lima, 2022. Methods: The study will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional, and non-experimental. The probabilistic cluster sample will consist of 160 immediate postoperative patients in the Recovery Unit at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital. The sample will be taken in July 2022, using a modified version of the patient satisfaction questionnaire, which was validated in Venezuela in 2007 by Felman and in Peru in 2016 by Palomino et al., as well as the nursing care quality questionnaire validated in Peru in 2018 by Chuquihuaccha et al. Data will be collected and processed through non-parametric tests to identify the relationship between both variables, in order to prove that the satisfaction of immediate postoperative patients is related to the quality of nursing care.
