Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of using external ventricular drainage for monitoring intracranial pressure in neurocritical patients in the intensive care unit(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-29) Murga Aranda, Oskar Luis; Aliaga Estrada, Judith Yessica; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: To systematically analyze the available evidence from studies carried out on the “Effectiveness of the use of external ventricular drainage for monitoring intracranial pressure in neurocritical patients in the intensive care unit.” material and method: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles found; “Effectiveness of the use of external ventricular drainage for monitoring intracranial pressure in neurocritical patients in the intensive care unit.”, were found in the following databases Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline Pubmed, all of them were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine its strength and quality of evidence, Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed correspond to the methodological design of the study, 10% (1/10) randomized controlled trial, 20% (2/10) meta-analysis, 20% (2/10) observational study, 20% (2/10) retrospective study and 30% (3/10) case study. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 90% (9/10) evidence the effectiveness of using external ventricular drainage for monitoring intracranial pressure in neurocritical patients in the intensive care unit. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% (10/10) evidence the effectiveness of using external ventricular drainage for monitoring intracranial pressure in neurocritical patients in the intensive care unit.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of hand venipuncture versus heel puncture for sampling in the newborn(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Cruz Rázuri, Manuela Isabel; Rivera Lozada de Bonilla, OrianaMaterial and methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using Jover's evaluation to identify their degree of evidence. Results: In the final selection, 08 articles were chosen, we found that from the systematic review, 40% correspond to Spain, 40% to Canada and 10% to Japan, and the remaining 10% to the country of Argentina. The majority of quantitative studies have been studied, mainly 70%, while 20% of the Systematic Review has been used by Canada and Spain and the remaining 10% constitutes an observational study also carried out in Spain. Conclusions: It was evident in the reviewed research that venipuncture is 100% more effective for taking blood samples in the newborn, it is less painful and less traumatic compared to heel puncture; The time spent performing it is three times less compared to the heel lance. Its application does not increase false positives. Sweetened elements are used to reduce pain.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of low protein diets in improving kidney function in patients with chronic kidney disease(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-11) Sullcaray Rios, Doris; Tello Rimapa, Erlita; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of low protein diets on kidney function in patients with chronic kidney disease. Material and methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, found in the following databases: PubMed, Sciencedirect, Cochrane, Medisan, Scielo, Wiley Online Library, Elsevier, Epistemonikos all correspond to the quantitative type and design of studies: systematic review, meta-analysis, experimental and observational studies. According to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, shown in the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 30% (n= 3/10) are systematic reviews, 10% (n= 1/10) are meta-analysis, 20 % (n= 2/10) are quantitative, 20% (n=2/10) are observational, prospective longitudinal studies, 10% (n=1/10) randomized controlled clinical trial and 10% (n=1/10) observational study. Results: In the evidence reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) demonstrate that low-protein diets improve kidney function in patients with chronic kidney disease. Conclusion: 10 of the 10 evidence demonstrate that low protein diets are effective in improving kidney function in patients with chronic kidney disease.Ítem Acceso abierto Psychosocial risk factors and the performance of nursing staff at the Dos De Mayo National Hospital, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-18) Paulino Chucle, Inocencia Antonia; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioThe present research titled: “psychosocial risk factors and the work performance of the nursing staff at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, Lima 2022”, general objective is to determine the relationship between psychosocial risk factors and the work performance of the nursing staff; type of observational study, applied cross-sectional, non-experimental design with correlational and cross-sectional scope. Population of 134 Nurses, census sample. The technique was the survey and as instruments an already validated questionnaire. The reliability of the psychosocial risk factors variable in Cronbach's Alpha. 0.956, indicates that it is reliable, the job performance variable where reliability in Cronbach's Alpha with 0.921, which confirms the hypothesis of general reliability of the instrument. While the validation of the instrument was validated through expert judgment, so the instrument was not manipulated. Both tests affirm the validity hypothesis of the instrument. In conclusion, it is stated that there is a relationship between psychosocial risk factors and work performance of the nursing professional at HNDM, Lima, 2022. Which means that the greater the presence of psychosocial risk factors at work, the lower the work performance of the nursing professionals. .
