(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-04) Chambi Mamani, Yessica; Ciquero Cruzado, Mélida Mercedes
The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between medication acquisition and psychosocial risk factors in patients served at the pharmacy of the Municipality of Lima's Sisol Salud in San Juan de Lurigancho in 2021. Methodologically, this was a basic, descriptive, correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional study. The population consisted of 110 patients served at the Sisol Salud Hospital pharmacy. A census was conducted, and the entire population was included due to its accessible and small size for surveying. The data collection technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire with a total of 52 questions using Likert-type measurement scales. Validity was established through expert judgment, and reliability was determined using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results showed that medication acquisition is significantly related to psychosocial risk factors in patients at the Sisol Salud pharmacy, with a Rho of 0.734 and a significance of p = 0.000.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Hilario Rojas, Sadith Julieta; Quichca Palomino, Silvia Noemí; Rodríguez Arizabal, Julio Cesar
The characteristics of antibiotic prescribing in medical prescriptions dispensed at the outpatient pharmacy of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital do not comply with good prescribing practices. There was a higher percentage incidence in the lack of legibility in prescriptions, the lack of the doctor's signature, the lack of the doctor's stamp, the lack of treatment duration, and the lack of medication dosage. The majority of medical prescriptions (90.2%) contained only one antibiotic per prescription, while antibiotic combinations were present in 9.8% of medical prescriptions. In the ATC classification of antibiotics, 100% predominance was found in the anatomical group Anti-infectives for systemic use and the therapeutic subgroup antibacterials for systemic use. The therapeutic group with the greatest presence was β-lactam antibacterials, penicillins. Finally, Amoxicillin was the most used chemical substance or active ingredient in the research. In the ATC classification of antibiotics, 100% predominance was found in the anatomical group Anti-infectives for systemic use and the therapeutic subgroup antibacterials for systemic use.

Irresponsible self-medication and self-prescription practices have increased among users of drugstores, becoming a public health problem. In Peru, regarding the use of health services, pharmacies and drugstores constitute the preferred places of care (MINSA 2013). The WHO advised that countries’ health policies should take responsible self-medication into account and seek ways to optimize its use with over-the-counter medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist. In our context, the practice of responsible self-medication is infrequent; however, its dissemination could reduce the overload in hospitals and health centers. For all the reasons stated, this research was considered important. It is concluded that 6.2% of drugstore users practice responsible self-medication, while 23.5% only self-medicate, and 70.3% self-prescribe. It is recommended to inform drugstore users, using simple language, about the existence of two groups of medicines established by law, and to provide education on when a condition should be considered minor and why. These tasks fall primarily on the expert in medicines, the pharmacist, since drugstores are the first places people go when they become ill.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-03-10) Lozano Julián, Flor de María; Rojas Méndez, Erodita Yrene; Respicio López, Patricia Milagros
Non-compliance with the Good Prescribing Practices (GPP) Manual affects health; therefore, the objective is to determine the relationship between compliance and knowledge of the GPP Manual. The methodology used an observational, correlational design. A total of 2,292 prescriptions were reviewed and evaluated considering the dimensions: patient data, medication data, prescriber data, and prescription date. A questionnaire was administered to 16 doctors using non-probabilistic convenience sampling. Results show that 88% of the analyzed prescriptions were non-compliant, while 100% of the surveyed doctors achieved a high knowledge level (greater than 75%). Analyzing compliance and knowledge of medication data, a direct relationship (0.755) was found. In the dimension of compliance and knowledge of prescriber data and patient data, no relationship (0.00) was found. Regarding compliance and knowledge of the prescription date, a direct relationship (0.499) was found. A weak direct relationship (0.070) exists between compliance and knowledge of the GPP Manual. In conclusion, external factors cause non-compliance with the Good Prescribing Practices Manual.
