En Perú, el consumo desequilibrado de alimentos ha incrementado la prevalencia de Enfermedades Crónicas No Transmisibles en adolescentes. Para enfrentar esta problemática, se promulgó la Ley N.º 30021 de Promoción de la Alimentación Saludable, que establece el uso obligatorio de octógonos en productos procesados. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre las advertencias publicitarias (octógonos) y el estado nutricional de los estudiantes de 4to y 5to de secundaria del colegio I.E. N.º 6069 “Pachacútec”, 2025. Se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, con diseño descriptivo-correlacional y corte transversal. Los resultados muestran que el 42% de los estudiantes tiene un nivel alto de conocimiento sobre los octógonos, 37.9% nivel medio y 20.1% nivel bajo. En cuanto al estado nutricional, el 58.6% presenta peso normal, 33.7% sobrepeso y el 7.7% obesidad. Se evidenció una relación significativa entre mayor conocimiento y mejores indicadores nutricionales. Estos hallazgos coinciden parcialmente con estudios previos en Perú y Latinoamérica, que destacan la influencia del etiquetado en las decisiones alimentarias. Se concluye que el conocimiento sobre advertencias publicitarias puede contribuir a mejorar el estado nutricional en adolescentes.

Effective interventions in preventing infection at the central venous catheter insertion site in hemodialysis patients

Objective: To systematize and analyze the evidence on the effectiveness of interventions in preventing infection at the central venous catheter insertion site in hemodialysis patients. Materials and Methods: A systematic review methodology was used, analyzing 10 scientific articles. The instruments included: Scielo, ISCIII, Scribd, Seden, Preevid, Murcia Salud, Jama, Horizonte, Sochinf, and Cochrane Plus. Results: 90% of the reviewed articles demonstrate that interventions to prevent infection at the central venous catheter insertion site in hemodialysis patients are effective. Additionally, 10% of the analyzed articles show that the use of chlorhexidine gluconate as an antiseptic is less effective as it does not reduce infectious episodes. Conclusions: 9 out of 10 articles evidence the effectiveness of interventions to prevent infection at the central venous catheter insertion site in hemodialysis patients. These interventions include the insertion and maintenance process of the central venous access. The nurse must observe and assess the condition of the insertion site and follow biosecurity and aseptic practices during the initiation, dressing, and completion of the procedure, emphasizing the importance of using chlorhexidine gluconate and mupirocin.

Effectiveness of educational interventions for the promotion of physical activity in schoolchildren

Materials and methods: A systematic review that synthesizes the results of multiple investigations, identifying the most important ones to argue for specific inquiries into daily practice. The exploration was restricted only to articles with full text subject to a judgment reading, using the GRADE system to give the strength of recommendation. Results: In the final classification, 10 articles were chosen, finding that 70% (07) are from America (Mexico and Colombia) and 30% from Europe (Spain). These are mostly systematic reviews 6 (60%), randomized field trials 3 (30%) and a case-control study 1 (10%). 100% of the studies affirm that educational interventions are effective to promote physical activity in schoolchildren. Conclusions: All the articles showed that educational interventions were an adequate resource to promote physical activity in schoolchildren since school is the ideal place because it houses the child and adolescent population in full development of their personality and acquisition of healthy habits such as increased physical activity.

Results: The articles agree on the effectiveness of educational interventions in the prevention of breast cancer Conclusions: The population must put into practice healthy lifestyles, practice self-care, which entails periodic medical examinations, self-examination, ruling out diseases, participation in health campaigns etc.

Effectiveness of health promotion and occupational disease prevention programs in the workplace

The objective of this research is: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the health promotion and prevention of occupational diseases program in the workplace, Materials and Methods: it was a Systematic Review with an observational and retrospective research design, as it is an essential tool to systematize the results of various scientific investigations. Evidence-based nursing is characterized by its rigorous methodology, identifying select studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. The present investigation has been limited to articles specific to the research topic, the selected articles were subjected to rigorous analysis and reading, the grade system was used to determine the strength of recommendation. Results: For this research, 10 scientific articles with the highest level of evidence were selected. Conclusions: According to the research analyzed, the health promotion program in the workplace is effective in preventing occupational diseases.
