    Application of ICT tools to improve the development of literacy in the area of Spanish and literature, of the students of El Rocío district, Nuestra Señora del Rosario Educational Institution, Chaparral Tolima, during the year 2018

    The objective of this work was to improve the development of literacy in the area of Spanish and literature, primary school students, Sede El Rocío, Educational Institution of Our Lady of the Rosary, implement as a strategy, different TIC tools. The sample used was made up of 50 students, who showed difficulties in the readingwriting development. To carry out this pre-experimental research, pre-test-posttest without control group, which uses the evaluation battery of the PROLEC-R reader processes. The objective of this instrument is to verify the components of the system that are failing in the selected sample. Students were given the PROLEC-R test before and after applying ICT tools in the classroom, such as the use of electronic media in the learning process, text processors for writing and electronic books for reading. . The battery is composed of nine tasks that evaluate the last ten normal skill indices. The evaluation is individual and scored with a correct answer and zero to the incorrect. The result of the answers allows to diagnose the presence of mild difficulty (D) or severe (DD) in the slow speed detection processes, in the speed index processes, and low level, in the subjects with a normal reading ability. The data were processed using the Wilcoxon test of median difference for related samples, with the aim of measuring prior reading and writing after the intervention. The results show that the use of Tic tools significantly improves the reading of books in the students of the Institución Nuestra Señora del Rosario, headquarters of El Rocío.

    Application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Area of Spanish Language and Reading Comprehension in Students of the Departmental Educational Institution La Victoria, Arcadia Rural Campus, Colombia, 2018

    This research deals with the relevance that the application of information and communication technologies (tic) can have in the area of Spanish language and reading comprehension. Its starting point is the results that have been evident in recent years in the tests presented both internal and external primary students and research already done that indicate the relevance of linking ICT in the reader processes, their levels of understanding focused on the Castilian language area; this inclusion constitutes a significant contribution to transform the teachinglearning processes. The objective of the research was to evaluate the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the area of Spanish language and its relationship with reading comprehension in the students of the Departmental Educational Institution La Victoria Sede Rural Arcadia. Colombia. The research is of the type applied at the evaluative level and mixed collection techniques were used, which allowed to address factors such as observation and satisfaction survey before and after the implementation of ICT in the reading comprehension processes and the development of the proposal, the design works with the entire population group, identifying the population and the sample whose size is equal, because the group involved in the research is small. The investigation lasted a year approximately, and the data were analyzed according to the theoretical foundation, and by means of a statistical program. The inclusion of new Information and Communication Technologies in school environments, allows to open a bunch of educational possibilities so that the student finds different and novel spaces of accompaniment in their training process and more in the part that has to do with the processes readers and their appropriation of reading comprehension levels; the incorporation of technological tools as a didactic strategy, the teacher must ensure in his role as designer for the coherence of the strategies offered that are aimed at the educational project and strengthen reading in the classroom, must take into account the levels of reading comprehension , the evaluation, the learning rhythms of the students, this with the purpose of providing the technological tools adapted to the needs of each student, all with the objective of providing the technological tools that as didactic strategy significantly stimulate the knowledge of students in their reading processes in the area of Spanish language.

    This research entitled "Application of the Hot Potatoes program to improve reading comprehension in the area of the Spanish Language in students of the sixth grade of secondary education, of the Educational Institution" Álvaro Molina "of the Municipality of Chaparral-Tolima, 2014"; It intends to present a resource that solves some of the problems that arise in the teaching-learning process in terms of the reading-writing process and also encourages self-regulated student learning through information technology. The present study is based on the descriptive modality with correlational design. The purpose is to determine the effectiveness of the use of strategies in reading comprehension in the Spanish Language area in the students of the sixth grade of secondary education, of the Educational Institution "Álvaro Molina" of the Municipality of Chaparral-Tolima, 2014; for which a sample of 30 students was used to whom a testtype instrument was applied before and after being submitted to the instructional plan on reading comprehension strategies. This instrument was valid through judgments of experts in education. The information collected was tabulated and plotted, analyzing it as a percentage. The conclusions obtained revealed that the use of strategies such as the application of Hot Potatoes software is efficient to improve readingcomprehension in our students.

    The thesis focuses its research on showing the influence of the Word Press Blog in the inquiry competence of students of the third, fourth and fifth grades in the Educational Institution the orchard headquarters five the Reform municipality of Ortega, in the department of Tolima central mountain range of the Andes, Colombia. The research method is hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, correlational-causal level and cross-sectional. The population consisted of forty-seven students; The sample is thirty third, fourth and fifth grade students, seventeen boys and thirteen girls, aged between eight and twelve years. The objective of the research was to obtain information from the census sample regarding the influence of Blog Word Press in the Inquiry competence, the following instruments were used for the Blog Word Press variable and another for the variable scientific inquiry in its dimensions that problematizes situations , designs strategies, generates or registers data and analyzes data and information, which allowed the researcher to give a particular appreciation in important aspects in order to improve or update. It was concluded that the Word Press Blog positively influences the development of the scientific inquiry competence in students of the orchard Educational Institution at its the Reform headquarters, since in the applied statistical test it was shown that the use of the educational blog Word Press improves the achievement of the competency of inquiry capabilities.

    The conceptual map usig and its relationship with the reading comprenhesion to the ninth grade students of the Nuestra Señora de Fátima high school from Jordán Sube, Santander

    Reading and teaching is without any doubt the greatest responsibility of the school, as an institution. In that way, Reading is not only the principal tool for students’ progress in their purpose of acquired knowledge and understand it, but it is also used in schools for the systematic study of content and knowledge. It is also used within daily life as a means to inform, entertain, think critically, investigate or deepen issues inherent in humanity. This is how conceptual maps have become an indispensable tool to cover it at all levels of understanding: Literal, Inferential and Critical - Intertextual. Based on the above, this thesis has the main purpose to determine the relationship that exists between the use of conceptual maps and the reading comprehension of the ninth grade students from Nuestra Señora de Fátima high school of Jordán municipality in Santander, in 2016. The type of research was applied, of experimental design and quantitative approach. For this research, a sample of 24 ninth grade students from the Nuestra Señora de Fátima high school was taken. It was in the municipality of Jordán Sube, Santander, and they were enrolled in 2016. In this thesis the hypothesis was contrasted through the use of a correlational design. In this research, the results showed that the use of conceptual maps influenced positively in the academic performance from the reading comprehension of students linked to this work. Before the intervention, 33.33% of students (8 students) presented a low performance and after the intervention it was reduced to 4.17% (1 student). 66.67% of students (16 students) presented a basic academic performance before the intervention and after the intervention it was able to increase to 79.17% (19 students). In the high performance was achieved an increase of 16.67% (4 students). In the superior performance, there was not any progress made. The results showed an improvement in academic performance in the reading comprehension course, since they compared the before results and the after results the intervention, we noticed an increase in the average number of students. After the use of the concept maps in the classroom, only one student presented low average academic performance and in addition about 50% of the students managed to achieve better performances. A direct and significant relationship was evidenced between the two variables: use of a conceptual map and reading comprehension. Among the main results, it was determined that there is a relationship between the use of the conceptual map and reading comprehension in ninth grade students of Nuestra Señora de Fatima High School in the municipality of Jordán Sube, since the result of the Pearson correlation was (r = 0.638 and p = 0.001).

    Development of pedagogical skills to strengthen motivation and reading comprehension in the students of the Institute for Social Promotion Piedecuesta - Santander, 2021

    The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship of pedagogical competences and motivation with reading comprehension in ninth-two students of the Piedecuesta Social Promotion Institute - Santander, 2021. The research was of an applied type, quantitative approach, non-design experimental, correlational cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 157 students ranging between 14 and 16 years of age, the technique used for data collection was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. The results were processed with the SPSS program and the hypotheses were contrasted using Spearman's Rho coefficient, since the sample did not present a normal distribution. The study concluded that if there is a significant relationship between pedagogical competences and motivation with reading comprehension in ninth-two students of the Piedecuesta Social Promotion Institute - Santander, 2021, since a significance was calculated p = 0.000 <0.05 for the variables pedagogical competences and motivation for reading with reading comprehension.

    Dysgraphia and Its Relationship with Writing Learning in the Language Area of Fourth Grade Students at “Augusto E. Medina de Comfenalco” Educational Institution, Ibagué, Tolima, 2014.

    The objective of this study is to determine the relationship of dysgraphia in the learning process of writing in the language area of fourth-grade students of the educational institution Augusto E. Medina de Comfenalco. The descriptive and cross-sectional research was developed under a quantitative method with a nonexperimental design and a descriptive-correlational field study. For data collection, two instruments were used: the survey and direct observation of the students, to understand and find meaning in the results of their practices. The population selected to carry out the research consisted of 124 fourth-grade students from the aforementioned educational institution and the selected sample had a size of 94 students. The results show causes of dysgraphia such as a bad position of the head, shoulder and trunk, the placement of the paper that compromises the position to write, an inadequate position of the elbow and the forearm, which affects how they write, which reflects in the quality of the writing and even in physical fatigue. The evaluated dictates identified: omission of information; that is, no words were written, some addition to writing, separation or undue union, transposition or reversal of syllables, contamination or paralogism, substitution of similar phonemes aurally and substitution of letters of similar symmetry. It is necessary to work on correcting problems associated with the physical posture, taking the pencil, for this practical exercises are required, supervised and corrected, that in a timely manner detect disjointed manifestations to be corrected and thereby improve the learning process. The formulated hypotheses were confirmed, which indicates that there is a significant relationship of dysgraphia in the learning process of writing.

    Evaluation of the impact of strategies to strengthen literacy competence on dimensions of reading comprehension among fifth grade students at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Ayala Educational Institution, municipality of Bello, Antioquia Department, Colombia, 2017

    The objective of this study was to evaluate the incidence of strategies to strengthen literacy skills on the dimensions of reading comprehension on fifth grade students of the Jorge Eliecer Gaitan Ayala Educational Institution in the municipality of Bello, department of Antioquia, Colombia, 2017. The average age of the population under study is 11 years, belonging to strata 1, 2 and 3. It was developed with an experimental design of the quasi-experimental type with a pre-test and post-test with two intact groups and tests were used as instruments. reading comprehension-sample questions- Standardized Test Saber 5th - 2014 and 2015 from the Ministry of National Education. The statistical test used to perform the hypothesis test was the non parametric Mann-Whitney U test, which allows to compare the medians between the groups: experimental and control. With a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error type I (α) of 0.05 (5%), the results showed a negligible influence of the influence of the reading and writing competence on reading comprehension and the need for renewal of conceptual and didactic tools by teachers and actors that guide the training processes.

    Implementation of Youtubers digital resources to develop critical literacy in students of a Colombian educational institution, 2019

    Results derived from international, national, regional and institutional tests show significant shortcomings in the critical reading process. The general objective of this research was to analyze how the pedagogical use of digital resources Youtubers influences to develop critical literacy, in 10th grade students of the Instituto Técnico Superior Industrial de Barrancabermeja, Colombia, in 2019. Applied research was proposed, with a quantitative approach, experimental design, longitudinal section and hypothetical deductive method. The population consisted of 320 tenth grade students; 160 students are part of the sample, determined by the random cluster sampling system and distributed in 4 groups, two experimental groups and two control groups. The T-Student test was applied for the hypothesis test, from the three indicators defined for critical literacy: philological, psychological and critical perspective. The instruments were the test and the observation guide, validated by experts and reliable according to the results of the Conbrach´s Alpha test. It is concluded that the implementation of digital youtubers resources to develop critical literacy in students of this Colombian educational institution was very significant, assertive and effective, as it increased determining factors such as motivation, achievement orientation, participation and the level of performance in the activities. The permanent incorporation of information technologies in these pedagogical processes is recommended.

    Incidence of Ict as a pedagogical support in the teaching process of reading and writing in children of fourth base primary course in the Ied technical miraculous medal of the municipality of chaparral Tolima Colombia

    The objective of this research is to evaluate, through prexperimental research pretestpostest design, in the educational context, the impact generated in the learning of reading and writing of the incorporation and use of ICT as a pedagogical support for teaching work within the teaching-learning process of reading and writing, in a classroom of 30 children of fourth grade of elementary school of the educational institution La Medalla Milagrosa in the municipality of Chaparral Colombia, in order to determine its objective applicability and to establish to what extent the use of new technologies of information and communications, generate a positive impact in order to improve the respective skills and competences of the learning of reading and writing in fourth grade students of primary school, for this purpose a diagnostic evaluation was initially carried out. In order to establish the state of skills and abilities in the area of reading and writing in such a way that a baseline was obtained before the application of the program of use and application of the TIC in the group under investigation, at the reading level the following dimensions were evaluated: vocalization, intonation, speed and reading comprehension, in the writing the dimensions of: grammatical construction, vocabulary and spelling were evaluated. The application of the use of Tic in terms of multimedia use for explanation of the language class, use of the PC for reading tasks, intonation and speed in the reading of basic level texts as well as reading comprehension, in the writing part texts on PC were used for copying and transcription and detection of spelling errors in texts designed for this purpose as exercises of synonyms and antonyms, dictation and evaluation of grammatical constructions about previously read texts, and use of dictionaries through web search of words and vocabulary, the application period of this methodology complements the traditional class according to the curriculum approved for this level of primary education by the MEN in public institutions of the Department of Tolima Colombia, also the investigation involved the evaluation of the teachers about their attitude and opinion about the use of ICTs as a complement of the traditional class in the IED, through the application of a Likert scale for this purpose, to evaluate The impact of the application on students was applied a scale that mediates their attitude and opinion about the changes perceived in each of the areas of reading and writing and their acceptance of the implemented program. The results were analyzed in a descriptive way and data were obtained that show a significant qualitative change in the reading skills of the target population. It also demonstrates a high level of participation and acceptance by teachers towards the new technologies in the teaching staff of the institution towards the use and application of ICTs in the area of Spanish and language in the courses evaluated. For the development of the research, studies conducted in this field at national and international level were reviewed at a theoretical and investigative level, which allowed to explore at a basic level the state of art and conceptualization of the use of ICTs in primary education and describe the benefits of these technologies for their innovation and dynamics in the teaching-learning process, at the research level, research provides and demonstrates the importance of conducting the so-called research in the classroom for its degree of information and impact at the level of methodology, pedagogy and didactics education, especially in populations with a high risk of social vulnerability, as in the case of the study presented.

    Information and Communication Technologies in the Development of Communication Skills in Sixth Grade Students at La Candelaria Educational Institution. Medellín, 2016

    This research is descriptive and correlational. It aims to determine the relationship between the variables: information and communication technologies and communication skills. Its design is non-experimental and cross-sectional because ICTs were approached as daily tools and its influence on the communicative processes of reading, writing, speaking and listening of a population consisting of all students enrolled in 6th grade in the High School La Candelaria (N = 193 students). Data collection was designed and performed by an instrument divided into two parts, so that would allow to identify the acquisition of communication skills using ICT tools, and the acquisition without the use of any device. Likert scale was used in 5 levels as response options. The instrument was validated by four teachers (magisters), who determined its adequacy and applicability; and it was subjected to a reliability test using Cronbach alpha, obtaining a result of (0.753) validating its use. The analysis of the results, in tables and graphs, was developed through spreadsheets and word processors. For statistical analyzes, such as Cronbach alpha and hypothesis test, in this case the Rho Spearman, SPSS software was used. The research results show that there is a low positive correlation between the variables determined by the Rho Spearman p= 360, compared to the degree of statistical significance of p < .05. This allows to reject the null hypothesis, showing that information and communication technologies are directly related to communication skills.

    Integration of ICT as a pedagogical tool for the development of reading comprehension competencies in Natural Sciences among ninth‑grade secondary school students at the Divina Pastora Educational Institution, Eusebio Septimio Mari campus, Riohacha, La Guajira — 2014

    The present research aims to address a problem presented in the process of reading comprehension in students in the area of natural sciences in the ninth grade students. Likewise, it was intended to explain how competences in reading comprehension can be developed in this area with the implementation of different virtual tools. To do this, it was necessary to design under the guidance of TIC methodological strategies in web 2.0 such as the use of a blog, some activities on the Moodle platform, videos on You tube, local virtual tools such as video bean, USB memory, cell phones Among others, which evaluated the influence they could have on learning processes to achieve this goal. We worked with a population of 77 students that corresponded to 100% of the groups of the ninth degree of the educational headquarters, being taken as nonprobabilistic sample at the discretion of the investigator 52 of these, considering that it was a representative sample of the group. It is a type of descriptive research with a quasi-experimental design. In the first place a survey was applied to identify the degree of interest among the students to work with virtual learning tools. An instrument for data collection was then designed and applied, which was a questionnaire which met the indicators that responded to the dimensions of the work. For the validation of the instrument, the data obtained in the pre-test questionnaire based on the categories of the Likert scale and with the support of the formula of the Cronbach Alpha coefficient were taken into account. This instrument was applied in the form of Input Test and Output Test whose contrast of results allows us to affirm that the Competences in Comprehension in the area of Natural Sciences have improved by 65% in general level. Periodic observations were also made on the incorporation of the virtual tools in the pedagogical process between pre-test and post-test. This research is framed in the line of Technological Didactic Tools of support to the teaching-learning according to the one posed by the Wiener University.

    This research "The Model proposed by Van Dijk and Kintsch and the reading comprehension of the ninth grade students of the Charta Agricultural Institute in the municipality of Charta in the Department of Santander - Colombia", had as main objective, to determine what This way influences the reading comprehension model of written text proposed by Van Dijk and Kintsch in the reading comprehension of the students of the Agricultural Institute of Charta, evaluating if the level of reading comprehension in which they were found varied after the application of the treatment, for which encouraged the use of textual comprehension strategies in the strengthening of reading ability, as well as determining if the mastery of reading comprehension strategies of the students of the Charta Agricultural Institute is adequate. The Van Dijk and Kinstsch model is characterized by being a strategic-cognitive model of comprehension of written texts, in order to measure its effect on reading comprehension, a Pre- Test and a Post-Test were made taking into account the work done with the students , Which allowed to show in the research, the importance of implementing pedagogical strategies to achieve a correct reading comprehension in the ninth grade students of the Agricultural Institute; Likewise, it was determined by the verification of the general hypothesis that the level of proficiency of the students in reading comprehension through the application of an objective test is not satisfactory.

    This research is based on the general aim of determining the relationship between reading comprehension and motivation in students of the eighth term of the Physical Therapy professional career belonging to a private university in Lima during 2022. The study was based or is about with a class sample census, being made up to 109 students who proceeded to fill out two instruments, a motivation scale (α=0.886) and a reading comprehension questionnaire (α=0.888), which were also validated by the corresponding specialists. The research is quantitative; therefore, it is applicative with a non-experimental design, a correlational level, and a transversal focus. SPSS version 24 software was used for information processing. The data obtained were disclosed through the presentation of tables and descriptive statistics, as well as correlational statistics (ρ) Spearman's Rho. The inferential results show that there is a significantly positive and low relationship between motivation and reading comprehension in the study group specified above, according to the values achieved (ρ =0.279 and following = 0.003).

    Pedagogical proposal for socio-educational integration for the improvement of reading comprehension in sixth grade, La Frontera Educational Institution, 2019

    The stated objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of a pedagogical proposal of socioeducational integration in improving the reading comprehension of the sixth-grade students of the Educational Institution La Frontera, year 2019. An applied-type, explanatory-level investigation was conducted, with quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, defining an experimental group and a control group, for a total population of 320 people, between students and parents. The instrument for the collection of information was the questionnaire and the techniques, a written test for reading comprehension and a survey, on socio-educational integration, added to the family APGAR Test applied every year by this institution. The validity and reliability of the instruments were determined based on the expert judgment and Cronbach's Alpha. For data processing and analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics will be analyzed: The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to evaluate the homogeneity or not of the sample, the Mann-Whitney U test for hypothesis testing and the Spearman test for the correlation between reading comprehension and family functionality. “PPECLE: read with you, read with me”, a Pedagogical Proposal for Socio-educational Integration for Reading Comprehension, developed in 30 sessions, was designed and implemented. The effectiveness of the intervention is verified at the inferential (0.048), critical (0.40) and general reading comprehension (0.04) levels, but not at the literal level (0.273);

    The program Leo, I understand and resolve in the improvement of critical thinking and reading comprehension in students of an Educational Institution of Lima - 2021

    The objective of the research was to determine to what extent the Program "I read, understand and resolve" improves the level of Critical Thinking and Reading Comprehension of 6th Grade primary students of an Educational Institution in Central Lima - 2020, has a focus quantitative, experimental design, Sub Design: Quasi experimental, the survey technique was used, with two measurement instruments: a reading comprehension questionnaire and a critical thinking questionnaire, with pre and post measurements, both in the control group and the experimental group , which consisted of 40 students each. The sampling was nonprobabilistic. After analysis and observation, the results showed that there is a significant difference between both groups in the post-test with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, concluding that the Program "I read, understand and resolve" significantly improves the level of Critical Thinking in reading comprehension. of 6th Grade Primary Students of an Educational Institution in Lima-2021.

    The reader plan as methodological strategy to increase the literacy in fifth grade students of Provenza elementary school in the year 2015

    The theme of this project was the investigation of the reader plan as a promoter of literacy in fifth grade students of Provenza elementary school in the year 2015. Its main objective was to determine the influence of the reader plan, as a methodological strategy, to improve the literacy processes of the fifth graders of Provenza. The type of this research was applied, its level and design was experimental. The project identified the relationship between 2 variables: the dependent (reading-writing process) and the independent (reading plan) the key words were: Reading, Writing, Learning Strategies, methodology, pedagogy and reading plan. The research population was 70 students and the sample was 41 students. Its design was quantitative, because it allows us to examine the data that can be measured and counted through numbers. The inquiries are made through entrance and final tests. The results conclude that there is an influence between reading plan and literacy to improve academic performance. Is evident a 20% increase in most reading, writing and reading comprehension processes. Additionally, the students improved coexistence in the classroom when they shared reading preferences and opinions about the texts worked in Spanish class.

    Various studies highlight the importance of the reading habit in student learning, especially for those who are in professional training, on the other hand, academic achievement continues to be a matter of research emphasizing knowing what are the factors that intervene in the Hence, the objective of this study arises, which is "Determine the relationship between reading habits and academic achievement in Postgraduate students of a Private University of Metropolitan Lima, 2022", for the indicated purpose the investigation was carried out under a quantitative approach, of an applied type and a non-experimental design with a correlational scope, precisely to find the relationship between the silver variables. The sample was made up of 80 postgraduate students from a University of Metropolitan Lima; the technique used was the survey and the Reading Habits Questionnaire by Jiménez et al. was applied as an instrument. (2019) and for the academic achievement variable, the record of the students' grades was recorded; As a result, it was found that there is a significant and positive average relationship between reading habits and academic achievement in postgraduate students from a private university in Metropolitan Lima, since a significance value of 0.001 and Spearman's Rho of 0.476 were obtained, concluding that at If the student has reading habits, their academic achievement will be favored.

    This research aims to stimulate reading habits, developing interpretation, analysis and reading comprehension skills; having as an ICT tool the use of the interactive blog as a means of support in the acquisition of good reading habits of the students of Primary Basic of the Technical Educational Institution María Auxiliadora de Fresno (Tolima). Since in the development of this project, student’s encountered activities that helped improve the understanding of interactive texts in an active and participatory manner. In the same way, they are encouraged and motivated, awakening in them, the interest in acquiring discipline in their academic activities, since this process strengthened their ability to be self-taught of good reading habits and therefore widened their reading comprehension in all areas of knowledge. In addition to the frequent use of ICT resources, it allowed students to get involved in a virtual world, which generated creativity and imagination when interacting with educational platforms, which enrich and favor the teachinglearning process, taking into account the education of the century XXI. Also bearing in mind that pedagogical processes or strategies must be updated and innovated according to new technological trends and in this case in particular the use of ICT resources through the interactive blog, it sets an important guideline to take advantage of its applicability; Therefore, the need to propose a series of activities that, although simple, promote interest in overcoming reading comprehension difficulties and raise their school performance through fun and different didactics, which are consistent with them, since they are digital natives.
