Los enfermeros profesionales en las unidades de emergencia ejercen un rol esencial en la implementación de estas técnicas, las cuales no solo mejoran las tasas de supervivencia, sino que también son esenciales para garantizar una respuesta adecuada en situaciones críticas. Objetivo: “Determinar relación existente entre el conocimiento sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar básica y la práctica en profesionales de enfermería de emergencia”. Metodología: El presente estudio adoptará un enfoque cuantitativo y aplicado, con un diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y nivel correlacional. Comprenderá como población de estudio 25 profesionales de enfermería. Para la recopilación de datos se utilizarán las técnicas de encuesta y observación. Para evaluar la variable “Conocimiento sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar básica” se empleará un cuestionario adaptado por Marcelo y Tafur en el 2021, con una confiabilidad determinada por Kuder de Richardson de 0.68. En cuanto a la variable “práctica en profesionales de enfermería” se empleará una lista de cotejo adaptada por Pichiule y Herrera en el 2023, confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach con índice de 0.812. Este estudio, titulado “Conocimiento y habilidades en reanimación cardiopulmonar de los licenciados en enfermería de áreas críticas del Hospital Nacional de Huaraz – 2025”,analizará la relación entre el conocimiento teórico y la habilidad en RCP. Se adoptará un enfoque cuantitativo con metodología hipotético-deductivo y de tipo aplicado, implementado mediante un corte transversal, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental. Se incluirá a 94 enfermeras de áreas críticas, quienes serán valoradas usando un cuestionario junto a una lista de verificación. Para el análisis de los datos se empleará SPSS versión 27, utilizando técnicas de estadística descriptiva y la correlación de Spearman. Se plantea un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental y nivel correlacional. La recolección de datos se llevará a cabo entre los meses de junio a agosto, utilizando instrumentos validados que permitan medir tanto el conocimiento teórico como la práctica de reanimación neonatal en sus principales dimensiones: pasos iniciales, ventilación con presión positiva y compresiones cardíacas. El conocimiento y la práctica adecuada de la RCP son fundamentales para aumentar las tasas de supervivencia de los individuos que se encuentren en estas situaciones críticas. Objetivo: El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo prioritario determinar como el conocimiento se relaciona con la práctica sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar del profesional de enfermería. Metodología: El estudio es hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, aplicado, correlacional, no experimental y transversal. La unidad a estudiar estará constituida por un total de 87 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Hospital Público de Chincha. En este contexto, el objetivo del presente estudio es determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las practicas en Reanimación Cardiopulmonar (RCP) que poseen los profesionales de enfermería del Servicio de Emergencia de un hospital de Lima, durante el año 2024. Este proyecto de investigación seguirá un enfoque hipotético-deductivo, con metodología cuantitativa, de tipo aplicado y diseño transversal no experimental, con un nivel descriptivo-correlacional. La población será censal, compuesta por 40 enfermeros, quienes también constituirán la muestra. Para medir ambos constructos se utilizará la técnica de encuesta, aplicando un cuestionario de 20 ítems para evaluar el conocimiento, y una ficha de observación con 20 ítems para analizar las practicas. Material and Methods: Systemic Review of international research articles, which have been obtained by searching the database: Google academic, PubMed, Elsevier, Scielo, dialnet, lilacs. Those that have been chosen and analyzed through the Grade System to locate the respective degree of evidence. The search for articles was carried out using the DECS and MESH descriptors for the search in Spanish and English respectively. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 40% (n= 4/10) were quasi-experimental studies, 60% (n= 6/10) were cross-sectional descriptive studies. The products acquired from the review of articles carried out in this research work come from the countries of Spain (20%), Brazil (20%), Mexico (30%), Cuba (30%). Results: 100% (n 10/10) demonstrated high effectiveness after receiving educational training. Conclusion: CPR training interventions were shown to be a useful method of practical theoretical training. Keywords: Effectiveness; cardiopulmonary resuscitation; nursing, knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of an Educational Intervention on Knowledge and Practices of Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in Teachers of Educational Institution No. 64103 Teniente Diego Ferre Sosa, Ucayali – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-08-05) Malpartida Silva, Isabel Gladys; Herrera Miranda, Oscar EnriqueThis study investigated how an Educational Intervention affects the knowledge and practices of Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in teachers of the Educational Institution No. 64103 Teniente Diego Ferre Sosa, Ucayali - 2023. It used a hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, non-experimental, longitudinal and explanatory. 50 teachers from the institution participated, with a sample of 42. The pre-test results showed that 92.9% of the teachers had low knowledge in CPR, while the post-test revealed a significant increase: 59.5% reached a high level of knowledge, 35.7 % a medium level and only 4.8% maintained a low level. In practical CPR skills, the pretest indicated 92.9% with low effectiveness, improving to 59.5% with high effectiveness post intervention. These findings support the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the null hypothesis (H0), demonstrating the effectiveness of the educational intervention in improving both knowledge and practical skills of CPR among teachers.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the probability of survival in emergency cardiac arrest patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-01) Biviano Camones, Jorge Ernesto; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: To classify investigations related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the probability of survival in patients with cardiac arrest in emergency. Materials and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective study, the exploration was directed towards complete scientific articles and they were subjected to a critical review, using the Grade evaluation to identify the level of evidence; getting 10 items. Of 100% of these studies, 40% correspond to Colombia and China, and 60% to Cuba, South Korea, the United States and Spain. All of them were found in the following databases: Cochrane, Pubmed, Scielo, Google Scholar. All of these articles belong to the quantitative type and due to their research design they are systematic reviews, randomized controlled studies and analytical cross-sectional studies. Results: Of the 10 articles chosen, 100% showed that CPR is effective in the survival of the adult patient in an emergency or during an emergency. Materials and Methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. Results: The sampled studies were assessed to determine the quality of evidence using the GRADE System, of which 80% (N=8) of the studies have a medium quality of evidence, 10% (N=1) of the studies have a high quality of evidence and 10% (N=1) study has a low quality of evidence Conclusions: The educational intervention studies sampled demonstrated effectiveness in the level of knowledge about basic CPR maneuver, this shows the importance of Imparting knowledge Theoretical - practical on CPR in community practice spaces as a projection and extension to a university as part of our social responsibility.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation compared to conventional resuscitation in increasing survival in adult patients.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-25) Alcarraz de La Cruz, Yessica Rocio; Medina Castro, Diana; Matta Solis, Eduardo PercyObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation compared to conventional resuscitation to increase survival in adult patients. Materials and Methods: 32 articles were reviewed, and a population consisting of a systematic review of 10 scientific reviews was selected. These were critically analyzed using the GRADE evaluation system to identify the evidence level of the articles published in the following databases: Researchgate, Elsevier, Scielo, PubMed, Epistemonikos, and Wiley Online Library. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% are of high quality, as described below: 40% (n = 4/10) are meta-analyses, 10% (n = 2/10) are systematic reviews, and 50% of moderate quality (n = 5/10) are cohort studies from South Korea (40%), China (30%), Canada (10%), the United Kingdom (10%), and Italy (10%). Results: 90% (n = 9/10) indicate that extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation is more effective than conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation in increasing survival in patients with cardiac arrest. 10% (n = 1/10) indicate that extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation is similar to conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The search was restricted to full-text articles, which were subjected to critical reading, using the GRADE assessment to identify their level of evidence. Of the total 100% (10) scientific articles reviewed, 60% (6) were from Spain, 20% (2) from the United Kingdom, 10% (1) from Italy, and 10% (1) from Colombia. Furthermore, the reviewed scientific articles were all systematic reviews, 100% (10), from Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Colombia. Results: According to the findings of the reviewed scientific studies, 100% demonstrated that manual CPR is effective in saving lives in patients with sudden cardiac arrest. Material and Methods: This research study is both qualitative and quantitative, with a systematic review, meta-analysis, experimental, and cohort design. The following databases were used as instruments: Pubmed, Journal Archives, and Ovid Insights. Results: A search of 10 scientific articles was conducted, which were considered the population for the study. Of these, 5 (50%) were systematic reviews, 3 (30%) were meta-analysis cases, 1 (10%) was experimental, and 1 (10%) came from cohort cases. 60% of the articles demonstrate the effectiveness of manual versus mechanical compressions in patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, 30% show the effectiveness of mechanical compressions in patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, and 10% of the studies were inconclusive. Conclusions: Based on the totality of the articles presented, 6 out of 10 conclude that manual compressions are more effective than mechanical compressions in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Of the set of studies analyzed, 50% correspond to the methodological design of systematic reviews, 40% randomized trials and 10% bibliographic review. Materials and methods: A systematic observational and retrospective review, the search was restricted to articles with full text, and selected articles underwent a critical reading, using the Grade System evaluation to identify their level of evidence. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, of which 40% (4/10) came from Canada, 20% (2/10) from Australia, and 10% from Thailand, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Colombia, respectively. The results show that 50% (5/10) of the articles analyzed systematically indicate that postural exercises are effective in reducing cervicalgia in office workers, 20% (2/10) show that postural exercises are not effective in reducing cervicalgia in office workers, and 30% (3/10) of the studies report that more research should be conducted before drawing firm conclusions about the effectiveness of postural exercises for reducing cervicalgia in office workers. Conclusions: It was found that 5 out of 10 systematically reviewed scientific articles demonstrate the effectiveness of postural exercises in reducing cervicalgia in office workers.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of mechanical chest compression versus manual chest compression in the resuscitation of patients in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-03-25) Chacon Rosado, Edward Cleymer; Mora Sangama, Carolina Noemi; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of manual chest compression versus mechanical chest compression in the resuscitation of patients in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Materials and Methods: The population consisted of 35 studies and the sample was 10 studies. A review of scientific articles on the effectiveness of mechanical chest compression versus manual chest compression in the resuscitation of patients in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest was conducted. It included 05 Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses, 01 Systematic Review, 03 Randomized Controlled Trials, and 01 Experimental Study. 20% of the evidence found came from China, 20% from the Netherlands, another 20% from England, and 10% from Canada, Singapore, Germany, and the United States, respectively. The search was carried out in the Lilacs, Pubmed, Medline, and Cochrane Plus databases. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 90% (n=09/10) agreed that there is insufficient scientific evidence to conclusively demonstrate that either of the interventions, manual chest compression or mechanical chest compression in the resuscitation of patients with sudden cardiac arrest, is superior to the other. One study, 10% (n=1/10), concluded that mechanical chest compression is superior to manual chest compression in terms of achieving return of spontaneous circulation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as the odds of return of spontaneous circulation were more than 1.6 times higher. Conclusions: It is confirmed that neither intervention is superior; both mechanical chest compression and manual chest compression in the resuscitation of patients in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest are equally effective. Methodology: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles found on the effectiveness of therapeutic hypothermia in reducing neurological sequelae in post-CPR patients were found in the following databases: Lilacs, Scielo, Medline, Pubmed, Dialnet and Epistemonikos, all They were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the articles studied, 50% are Meta-Analyses, of which from the United States they are (1/10), China (3/10), Australia (1/10); Cohort studies 30%, being from the countries of the United States (2/10) and Poland (1/10); Systematic reviews 20% that correspond to the United States. As far as the quality is evident (according to the grade system), 70% of the studies are of high quality and 30% of moderate quality. Of the total of 10 articles, 70% of them concluded that therapeutic hypothermia reduces neurological sequelae in post-CPR patients. OBJECTIVE: Determine what is the relationship between knowledge about basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and practice in nursing professionals from the emergency service of a hospital in Lima, 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The hypotheticaldeductive method will be used, with a quantitative approach, basic type and nonexperimental design. 50 intensive care nurses will participate. The technique that will be used is the survey and the instruments will be a questionnaire and a checklist.
