Publicación Acceso abierto Aprendizaje basado en problemas y razonamiento clínico en fisioterapeutas de una institución privada de educación continua en Lima Metropolitana, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-11-11) Benamú Izquierdo, Shalon Martín; Rosario Pacahuala, Emilio AugustoThe scientific literature supports Problem-Based Learning (PBL) as an effective method for developing clinical reasoning (CR) in healthcare professionals. However, Peru's traditional educational system, focused on memorization, produces professionals with deficiencies in this crucial skill for clinical decision-making. In this context, the present study investigated the relationship between PBL and the development of CR in physical therapists enrolled in a diploma program in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy at a private continuing education institution in 2024. The main objective was to determine whether there was a relationship between the two variables. To this end, two self-administered questionnaires were used after several sessions of the diploma program that used PBL: o3ne to assess the application of PBL and the Clinical Thinking Inventory to measure CR. The results revealed a direct and positive relationship between PBL and CR in the participating physical therapists. However, this relationship was classified as weak, with the researchers suggesting that this weakness could be attributed to the limited number of teaching sessions in which PBL was applied. In conclusion, this preliminary study suggests that PBL may have a positive impact on the development of CR in physical therapists. However, the need for future research with a larger number of sessions and a more robust study design is emphasized to confirm and deepen these findings. Publicación Acceso abierto Influencia del simulador modellus en el razonamiento cuantitativo en la asignatura de física I en los estudiantes de ingeniería de una universidad pública Lima, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-25) Galarza Espinoza, Máximo Moisés; Huaita Acha, Delsi MarielaThe main objective of the research was to determine the influence of Software Modellus on quantitative reasoning in students of a National University in the subject of Physics I. The research was based on the deductive method and the positivist paradigm, under the quantitative approach, with design quasi-experimental. The instrument used for data collection was the survey with the application of a questionnaire of 20 questions based on five dimensions of quantitative reasoning, which was validated by 10 expert judges and applied to a sample of 80 students with two groups, one control and an experimental one each with 40 students. The results were obtained by means of descriptive and inferential statistics, applied in students of the second cycle of the general school of study belonging to a Public University, obtaining as a result a significance value of 0.00 for the parametric student's T test; rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis. concluding that the Modellus Program significantly influenced quantitative reasoning.Publicación Acceso abierto Organizadores visuales y desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Chincha, 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2026-02-04) Chumbiauca Martínez, Sergio Yoel; Mescua Figueroa, Augusto CésarThis research aims to determine the level of relationship between the use of visual organizers and the development of critical thinking in nursing students at a private university in Chincha, 2025. A hypothetical-deductive methodology was used, an applied quantitative approach, a non-experimental, correlational design with a cross-section. A sample of 104 nursing students from the fourth cycle of a private university in Chincha was obtained. For 10 data collection, two questionnaires were applied to measure both variables, being the questionnaire on the use of visual organizers and the Critical Thinking Variable Measurement Instrument, Watson-Glaser Test, Form A. Its reliability was adequate, reaching a Cronbach's alpha of .851 and .881. The results obtained show a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.414 with a bilateral significance level of 0.000. The conclusion is that the existence of a positive correlation of medium magnitude between both variables is confirmed.
