The study is observational. , transversal descriptive. The sample population size will consist of approximately 18 neonates, which is the average number of neonates in the last five months according to the statistics evaluated, of neonates between 34 weeks and 37 weeks with gestational age, in the Neonatal Intensive Care area of the Central Hospital. of the Peruvian Air Force, which have the selection criteria. The instrument will be the collection of information, which will be carried out through observation on a sheet with the physiological parameters of the newborn observed on a multiparameter monitor. Data collection will be by observing the physiological parameters before and after the musical intervention. The collection of these parameters will be recorded in a data sheet by the researcher, the data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics (the mean, the average, the sum, the standard deviation, the variance of vital functions).Ítem Acceso abierto Criteria and standards for nursing staffing(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Aranda Tuanama, Jessica Mercedes; Rodríguez Porras, Betsy Yvonne; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: Establish the criteria and standards for the provision of nursing staff. Materials and Methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. Results: 7 scientific articles were reviewed, whose main topic was the criteria and standards for the provision of nursing staff. Of all the articles that were found, the most relevant articles were included according to the level and quality of evidence, evaluating the agreement. and the discrepancy between the articles, and the least relevant ones were excluded. The articles were located in the databases: Scielo, Lilacs Lipecs, Medline. Conclusions: There are several diversified criteria and standards in Peru for the provision of nursing staff, which make coordinated work necessary at the level of the representative entities of Peruvian nurses. Health care companies or institutions do not apply a standardized model in the human resources management process. Said management is conditioned by the type of organizational system used, applied technology, action policy, work philosophy and existing human resources policy, purpose and functions of the personnel.Ítem Acceso abierto Critical review: carnitine supplementation for the improvement of cardiometabolic parameters in patients with chronic kidney disease(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-28) Mariños Cotrina, Brian Wally; Dávila Córdova, Jennifer EstefaniaCardiometabolic parameters in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are altered with the progression of their clinical condition. Various interventions have been studied, with carnitine supplementation considered one of the most strategic. This secondary research, titled 'Critical Review: Carnitine Supplementation for Improving Cardiometabolic Parameters in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients,' aimed to provide a professional critical commentary based on the review of scientific articles related to carnitine supplementation for improving cardiometabolic parameters. The clinical question was: 'Will carnitine supplementation improve cardiometabolic parameters in adults with chronic kidney disease?' The Evidence-Based Nutrition (NuBE) methodology was used. Information was searched in PUBMED, SCIENCE DIRECT, and REDALYC, finding 32 articles, with 13 selected and evaluated using the critical reading tool CASPE, ultimately selecting the randomized clinical trial titled 'Study on effects of L-carnitine supplementation on anaemia with erythropoietin hyporesponsiveness and lipid profile in chronic kidney disease patients on maintenance hemodialysis,' which has an evidence level of 'AI' and a Strong Recommendation grade, according to the researcher's expertise. The critical commentary concluded that there is sufficient evidence to determine the effect of L-carnitine supplementation on improving cardiometabolic parameters such as hemoglobin, erythropoietin resistance, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and VLDL lipoproteins.Ítem Acceso abierto Critical review: effect of supplementation with Omega 3 fatty acids on clinical and nutritional parameters in patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-25) Huarcaya Zavaleta, Alexsandra Pilar; Espinoza Rado, Erika PaolaThe effect of supplementation with omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer disease has already been demonstrated to have an antitumor impact in vivo and in vitro on the pancreatic cancer cell chain. Results: According to the evidence found, 80% (n=8/10) demonstrate the effectiveness of dietary interventions in improving biochemical parameters in adult patients with chronic kidney failure, while 20% (n=2/10) showed no effectiveness. Conclusions: Dietary interventions are effective in improving biochemical parameters in adult patients with chronic kidney disease.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of group education vs. individual education to improve the quality of life of patients with Diabetes Mellitus(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Silva Valencia, Teresa Isabel; Wong Valerio, Miryam Luisa; Remuzgo Artezano, AnikaObjective: Determine the effectiveness of group health education compared to individual education in improving the quality of life of patients with Diabetes Mellitus. Material and method: Retrospective systematic bibliographic search and review. The search was restricted to articles with full text and with a time limit of 10 years, and was carried out in the databases PudMed, Index de Enfermería, Scielo, Evidentia, Cochrane during the month of February 2016. Results: They were chosen 10 articles obtaining the following data: the application of group education has a great impact on the level of knowledge about the disease, as demonstrated in 100% of the articles reviewed, improving adherence to the treatment (66.6%), raising self-care levels (83.3%), achieving behavioral changes in relation to diet and physical activity (50%), therefore controlling biochemical parameters such as glucose (83.3%), and physical such as weight and BMI (33.3%) also shows other indicators such as: no diabetic complications (16.6%) which translate into a decrease in emergency care due to hyper or hypo glycemia. Conclusions: In this bibliographic review, group education is highlighted as the most effective method for the transmission of important knowledge. It also shows us the impact it causes as a means for socialization and the exchange of experiences. Structured group education as a complement to individual education appears necessary and extremely important to improve the quality of life and metabolic control of people with diabetes.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of nutritional intervention in improving anthropometric parameters of patients with chronic kidney disease(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-02) Vicuña Arredondo, Litzia Zoila; León Cáceres, Johanna del CarmenMaterial and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, of all the articles found, those of greatest importance were included according to level and quality of evidence and some of lesser relevance were excluded. Results: 21 publications have been analyzed. It is evident that 70% of the reviewed publications demonstrate the effectiveness of nutritional intervention in improving anthropometric parameters. In the case of patients undergoing dialysis treatment, there was an improvement in BMI values, a decrease in % weight loss and an improvement in fat mass and lean mass. With respect to those patients who were without renal replacement treatment: the values of BMI, % weight gain, fat mass and muscle mass improved. Conclusions: 70% of the reviewed publications agree that a nutritional intervention is effective to improve the anthropometric parameters of patients with chronic kidney disease.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the Ramsay agitation-sedation rating scale versus the Richmond scale (rass) in critically ill patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-22) Sarabia Ramos, Katherine Tania; Solis Valverde, Trinidad Rosario; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the Ramsay agitation-sedation rating scale versus the Richmond scale (RASS) in critically ill patients. Materials and Methods: The study was quantitative, design: systematic, retrospective review, which synthesizes the results of different investigations, being the essence of nursing based on evidence for its methodology, identifying relevant studies of clinical practice, the System was used Grade to assign recommendation strength. Results: 10 scientific articles were compiled using the Pudmed, ElSevier, Scielo, Medline database. The majority agreed that the Richmond scale is more valid, reliable and effective because it includes a greater number of descriptors to assess levels of sedation and agitation, due to its high correlation with physiological parameters. Conclusions: It was evidenced that there is 60% effectiveness of the Richmond agitation-sedation assessment scale (RASS) to monitor agitation and sedation in critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. 20% of the articles reviewed confirm that the Ramsay sedation assessment scale is more reliable and valid and the other 20% conclude that both scales correlate and are effective in monitoring agitation and sedation in critically ill patients.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of anthropometric parameters as a predictor of cardiovascular risk profile in adults(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Acosta González, Ysabel Dolores; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjectives: Determine the effectiveness of anthropometric parameters as predictors of cardiovascular risk profile in adults.
