Publicación Acceso abierto Autoestima e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de secundaria de una institución educativa de San Juan de Miraflores, Lima-2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-09-17) Silva Peña, Daisy Keyli; Paico Ruiz, Marcos JoséLa finalidad de este estudio consistió en establecer la relación entre autoestima e inteligencia emocional en una muestra de 187 estudiantes de ambos sexos que oscilan entre 13 a 18 años, que cursan entre 3ro a 5to de secundaria de un colegio del distrito de San Juan de Miraflores, Lima-Perú. La metodología fue de tipo básico, de diseño no experimental y con nivel correlacional, además, el muestreo fue no probabilístico por conveniencia y los instrumentos aplicados fueron el Inventario de Autoestima de Coopersmith (Coopersmith, 1967) y el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional Bar-On ICE:Na (Bar-On, 1997). En los resultados se encontró mayor porcentaje de estudiantes con niveles moderados de autoestima (56.1%) y de inteligencia emocional (55.1%), adicionalmente, se encontró correlación entre autoestima e inteligencia emocional (rs=.215, p=.00), así mismo, autoestima se correlaciona con las dimensiones de inteligencia emocional como interpersonal (rs=.237), adaptabilidad (rs=.239) y estado de ánimo general (rs=.312), sin embargo, no se correlacionó con la dimensión intrapersonal, manejo de emociones e impresión positiva (p>.05) . En conclusión, este hallazgo implica que la percepción positiva de uno mismo está asociada con una mayor habilidad para comprender y gestionar las emociones.Ítem Acceso abierto Coping strategies and cardiovascular risk in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit of the Loayza hospital, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-10) Urday Rodriguez, Yodalia; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective. The aim is to determine the incidence of coping strategies on cardiovascular risk in the nursing staff of the Intensive Care Unit of the Loayza Hospital, 2021. This study will use a quantitative approach whose scope is descriptive correlational, its purpose is applied and its design is non-experimental cross-sectional. We will work with a sample population of 91 people who care for patients in five areas corresponding to the Intensive Care Units (ICU) of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria as proposed in this research. Two instruments will be used, one for each variable, the first will be the Multidimensional Coping Estimation Inventory COPE 28 and the questionnaire that measures the five indicators, systematized in the Fuster-BEWAT scale, this being the one that will determine the level of cardiovascular risk of Metso del Perú employees, and an independent evaluation will be carried out on blood pressure, physical activity, body mass index, diet and smoking, each item will have a score from 0 to 3, with 0 indicating inadequate and 3 indicating adequate or ideal.Ítem Acceso abierto Difficulties in emotional regulation and post-traumatic growth in 1st and 2nd year nursing students at Norbert Wiener University, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-03) Gallardo Reyes, María Consuelo; Pretell Aguliar, Rosa MaríaTo determine the relationship between emotional regulation difficulties and post-traumatic growth in 1st and 2nd year nursing students at Norbert Wiener University, Lima 2022. Methodology: The study will have a quantitative approach, of an applied type, and of a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational design. The representative sample of the study will be made up of 233 university students from the 1st and 2nd academic year, a sample obtained according to the application of the formula. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: In the data collection technique, the survey will be applied, executed in a single moment, using the instruments called the emotional regulation difficulties scale (DERS) and the post-traumatic growth inventory, the two instruments have a Cronbach's Alpha equivalent to .800, and .850 respectively. Procedures: The collection of the data obtained will be carried out for a period of 02 months. Once the data has been collected, it will be organized in Excel for quality control and corresponding organization; later it will be exported to SPSS software version 25.0. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive and correlational evaluation, correlation and frequency tables, measures of central tendency, dispersion and graphs will be developed.Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional intelligence and quality of care of nursing staff to users in the surgical center service of Gustavo Lanatta Luján Hospital, Essalud – Huacho 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-10) Girón López, Angie Carolina; Cabrera Espezua, Jeannelly PaolaThe study will be carried out at the Instituto Peruano de Seguridad Social hospital in Huacho, with the objective of identifying how Emotional Intelligence is related to the Quality of Care for users in the surgical center service of the health establishment in question, which is located in the city of Huacho during the year 2022. As a Methodology for the research, it will correspond to a hypothetical - deductive method, with a quantitative approach in a type of basic descriptive research, with an observational design, the population and sample is made up of nursing staff made up of a total of 80 from the surgical center service of the Gustavo Lanatta Luján hospital. The technique to be used is the survey to obtain the different responses from the professional and technical staff of the area, the instrument to evaluate the two variables will be the questionnaire, with its application the necessary data will be collected, counting on the SPSS 25.0 statistical system, likewise for the hypothesis test the Spearman statistic will be used according to the normality test.
