Se concluyó que, el análisis digital es globalmente comparable al manual para medidas esqueléticas y dentarias, con ligeras variaciones (tendencia a valores algo mayores en SNA y SNB), permitiendo concluir que no existe diferencias al comparar dos métodos para la determinación cefalométrica en pacientes con valoración ortodóntica.Ítem Acceso abierto Culture of patient safety and quality of care in the nurses of a Specialized Pediatric Hospital, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-11) Aguilar Huamán, Pamela Milagros; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoIntroduction: The patient safety culture is one of the hospital management indicators that allows identifying the risks that nursing care can produce and favors the offer of quality nursing care. Materials and methods: Non-experimental design, correlational level, cross-sectional and quantitative approach. In relation to the population, 60 nursing professionals who work in emergency and hospitalization services were considered. Regarding the technique, the survey will be used and there will be two measurement instruments that will be applied. In relation to the instrument that measures patient safety culture, it contains 42 questions and covers five dimensions, within which are teamwork, communication, safety culture, supervision, and management and direction. Similarly, the nursing care quality instrument comprises 21 items and covers three dimensions defined as technical, operational and human, taking into consideration that the two questionnaires are valid in terms of reliability and validity. Regarding the conclusive values, the levels of good, average and bad are defined for the patient safety culture variable, and in relation to the variable quality of nursing care, its conclusive levels will be low, medium and high.Ítem Acceso abierto Diagnostic validity of the brazilian formula compared to the precipitation method for the estimation of low density lipoprotein in the Zarate health center in lima Perú, year 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-04) Fernández Anaya, Cecilia Veronica; Huamán Cárdenas, Victor RaulTo determine the diagnostic validity of the Brazilian formula compared to the precipitation method for estimating low-density lipoprotein. Methodology: The research method is hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, descriptive, and non-experimental, based on 353 lipid profile results from patient records between January 2 and December 31, 2018. Results: Of the 353 results, 237 (67.1%) were from women, and 116 (32.9%) from men. The most common age group was adults aged 30-59 years, with 175 results (49.6%). There was a moderate level of agreement for the Brazilian formula. Conclusion: The Brazilian formula showed 93.8% sensitivity, 81.7% specificity, 93.5% positive predictive value, and 82.6% negative predictive value compared to the precipitation method.Ítem Acceso abierto Sociodemographic and family characteristics of the mothers of children (a) from 6 to 36 months with anemia in the Santa Rosa district(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-13) Naupari Morales, Ana Edith; Cabrera Espezua, Jeannelly PaolaObjective: Identify the sociodemographic and family characteristics of the mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months with anemia in the district of Santa Rosa. Material and methods: The methodological approach used was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, prospective and descriptive. The sample was 114 mothers of children from 6 to 36 months of age with anemia, being selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria of the research. To measure sociodemographic and family characteristics, the Family Technical Sheet instrument was used, which includes 17 items grouped into 3 dimensions. A pilot test was carried out on 20 mothers, to demonstrate its reliability and validity.
