The total population consisted of 221 students, from 1st to 5th grade of secondary school, both sexes, ranging from 11 to 18 years old. The results determined that there is no relationship between parenting styles and aggression. It was also found that 81.4% of the students exhibited an authoritative style, 10% a permissive style, and 7.7% a mixed style. Most students presented a medium level of aggression (39.4%), using verbal aggression the most. It was concluded that as the scores on the commitment and behavioral control dimensions increase, aggression decreases.Ítem Acceso abierto Psychosocial impact of dental aesthetics in students of the 4th and 5th year of secondary education of the educational institution № 52094, Puerto Maldonado, 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-18) Mamio Huesembe, Kubinska Kazuko; Meza de Pastor, Verónica LlerenaNowadays, it is known that oral disorders negatively affect both the family and individual levels. From this perspective, the present study aims to determine the psychosocial impact of dental aesthetics in 4th and 5th-year secondary education students at Educational Institution № 52094, Puerto Maldonado, 2022. The research will be deductive, meaning it will use a thought process that transforms general statements into specific ones following the rules of logic. It will also be framed within a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, and comparative approach. It is important to note that, due to the nature of the variable represented in the title of this study, the research type would initially be simple descriptive. However, considering the intervening variables, it was deemed convenient, at first, to analyze the association or independence between the level of psychosocial impact and sociodemographic characteristics, making it a correlational study. In the second phase, aiming to specifically compare the psychosocial impact of dental aesthetics in both student groups, the study will be comparative. The population will consist of 150 students from Educational Institution № 52094, Puerto Maldonado, 2022; of which 90 students are from the 4th year and 60 students from the 5th year. The sample will consist of 63 students selected using simple random sampling when the parameter to estimate is the proportion.
