(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-17) Calderón Curi, Adira Yubitza; Cueva Quispe, Jose Daniel; Oyarce Alvarado, Elmer
The conducted research aimed to determine the relationship between pharmaceutical care and the perceived satisfaction of customers at FamilyFarma pharmacies in Santa Anita, Lima, Peru, 2022. The first variable included six dimensions, while the second variable included one dimension. The methodology chosen for this study was deductive and correlational. A sample of 252 customers from FamilyFarma pharmacies, located at two branches detailed in the study, was selected. A virtual survey was used to collect data. Data processing was conducted using the SPSS 25 statistical program, complemented with descriptive analysis, tables, and figures, each with its own interpretation. A relationship was found between pharmaceutical care and perceived satisfaction among FamilyFarma customers in Santa Anita, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.228, indicating a low direct relationship. This suggests that improved pharmaceutical care leads to increased satisfaction. For the objectives related to orientation, dispensing, pharmacotherapeutic follow-up, health education, consultation, and rational use, Spearman's Rho coefficient was used, finding that in most cases, there is a significant direct and moderate relationship between the dimension and the stated variable. In the humanistic objective, a low direct relationship was observed. It was concluded that there is indeed a relationship between pharmaceutical care and perceived satisfaction among FamilyFarma customers in Santa Anita, as well as with the specific objectives mentioned.

The analysis was conducted through a cross-sectional, observational, prospective, documentary, and comparative study, examining unitary medical prescriptions from all specialties, as well as prescriptions from patients with chronic treatments, emergency care, and hospitalized patients. The Good Prescription Practices Manual of the General Directorate of Medicines, Supplies and Drugs (DIGEMID), the Good Prescription Practices Manual of the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Medication Appropriateness Index (MAI) were used to design the data collection sheet, considering the essential characteristics that prescriptions must contain, in order to measure the magnitude of inappropriate prescribing in a population of 144 prescriptions over a one-year period. Photographs of attended prescriptions were taken; prescriptions from hospitalized patients, emergency patients, and patients with chronic treatments were excluded. The findings showed that 100% of prescriptions included the international nonproprietary name and the date of issue. However, 27.8% did not specify the concentration, 1.4% did not indicate the pharmaceutical form, 17.4% did not record the dosage, and 100% did not include the expiration date of the prescriptions.

The objective of this research was to "Determine the level of satisfaction with Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up (PFU) in patients with COVID-19 at the César López Silva Maternal and Child Center, 2021." Method: The method was an observational and prospective design in a sample of 30 COVID-19 patients who underwent PFU to determine the level of satisfaction. The total population consisted of 121 patients who tested positive from June to September 2021. Results: 56.7% (n=17) of the patients considered themselves very satisfied with the pharmacotherapeutic follow-up. 92.4% of the negative outcomes related to medication corresponded to untreated health problems. 92.4% corresponded to a medication-related problem of the type "insufficiently treated health problem." 93.9% of pharmacist intervention was for the pharmacological strategy category. The conclusion of our pharmacotherapeutic follow-up showed a very satisfied level of satisfaction in 56.7% of COVID-19 patients. The achievements reached by the pharmacist intervention resulted in a good rate of acceptance, reaching a very satisfied level of 80%. Patient experience in the PFU achieved a good impact, reaching a "satisfied" level of 50.3%, and the negative results associated with medication were mostly due to untreated health problems at 92.4%.
