Tello, Ate Vitarte - 2018. Method: Non-experimental design study, descriptive correlational type and quantitative approach. 559 students participated. The instruments used, Wagnild & Young Resilience Scale showing the resilience levels of adolescents, Reynolds Depression Scale for Adolescents (EDAR). Results: It was found that 96% have a low level of resilience. When obtaining results according to the dimensions of resilience, it was found that 88% have low personal satisfaction, 92% have low equanimity, 93% have low feeling good, 96% have low perseverance, 93% have self-confidence. low. In relation to depression, it was found that 97% obtained symptoms of depression. In the same way, it was obtained for its dimensions that 94% had symptoms of depression, demoralization and hope, 86% obtained symptoms of depression in emotional expressions of anger, sadness and discouragement, 90% obtained symptoms of depression in anhedonia. , 96% obtained symptoms of depression in low self-esteem and self-devaluation, and 79% obtained symptoms of depression in school anxiety. There is a significant correlation between resilience and depression in high school adolescents. The Spearman correlation statistical test obtained a correlation coefficient of -0.735 (p < 0.05).
