Factors that influence the abandonment or success of the treatment of patients with tuberculosis.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-25) Sante Perez, Maribel; Valdivia Quesada, Mónica Elizabeth; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo Amado
Introduction: Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious and contagious disease and a public health problem worldwide. Objective: To systematize scientific articles on the factors that influence treatment compliance in users with tuberculosis. Material and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to systematic reviews with full text, published in the last 10 years, selected after being analyzed using the GRADE evaluation and identifying their scientific quality. Results: 40% (4/10) are systematic reviews, 30% (3/10) cohort studies and 30% (3/10) case-control studies. It is observed that when selecting scientific articles it was found that 60% (6/10) of evidence talks about knowledge about the disease, 30% (3/10) talk about family support, 10% (1/10) about work support, 10% (1/10) about directly observed treatment (DOT) and financing; and only 10% (1/10) stated that change of address is a factor that favors non-compliance, as well as being over 65 years of age. All the previously mentioned topics are factors that determine treatment compliance. Conclusions: Knowledge about the disease is the most influential factor in anti-tuberculosis treatment.

Quality of nursing care and its relationship with the attitude of the patient with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in Diris Lima Sur 2022.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-24) Arotinco Anchayhua, Yuliza; Mori Castro, Jaime Alberto
Determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the attitude of the patient with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in the DIRIS LIMA SUR, 2022. Material and method: This research has a quantitative approach, because data collection is used to demonstrate the hypothesis based on statistical analysis and the analysis of the qualities or attributes described to determine the results of the behavioral models in a population. Population, are multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patients, in the period from June to December 2022 in the DIRIS LIMA SUR, having a total population of 134 patients. To measure the Quality of Nursing Care, a quality instrument will be used, with three dimensions of 28 items in total, Interpersonal dimension with 8 items, Technical dimension with 15 items and Environmental dimension with 5 items, with reliability of a Cronbach's alpha of 0.839 and validity 0.93. To measure the second variable, the questionnaire on attitudes of patients with multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis will be used. It consists of 26 items distributed in three dimensions: cognitive attitude with 6 items, affective dimension with 10 items and behavioral attitude with 10 items, with a reliability index by Cronbach's alpha of 0.863 for the total of the same. To measure the relationship between the variables, Spearman's rank correlation was used.

Work stress in the nursing staff working in the Covid-19 hospitalization service of the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-05-14) Coronado Panta, Lilia Isabel; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan Haydee
This research will be descriptive, as it will only quantify and describe job stress among nursing staff. It will also be a cross-sectional study. As for the instruments, the Burnout Syndrome will be measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The population will consist of 125 healthcare personnel working in the COVID-19 hospitalization service at Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital, and the sample will be 94 nursing professionals working in the COVID-19 hospitalization service at the same hospital, as stated by Valderrama (2019, p.399). Criterion validation is established with the Pearson correlation applied to the dimensions of the job stress variable. The analysis results show that the variable job stress has a positive relationship with empathetic affinity, with a value of 0.860, indicating a very high correlation. When job stress is related to emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, the values are 0.740 and 0.783, which are considered moderate and high correlations, respectively. In contrast, the relationship between job stress and personal accomplishment has a value of 0.550, which is considered a moderate correlation.
